village spice in Newcastle-under-Lyme

We used to have our currys from here every week and food was beautiful and fresh NOW Food has gone so down hill since new owners taken over we ordered 2 chilcken baltis with mushroom rice and garlic nan. Son had cheese burger Food was disgusting. Curry had a funny coulor to this Rice had all burnt mushrooms in it there was big cloves also left in it. Cheese burger came with no cheese Chips were hard. Garlic nan bread was not even cooked was still raw dough Will not be going back ever again..

Thought we’d treat ourselves tonight and have a curry from village spice so ordered our treat at 5.30 was told that delivery would 40 minutes coming up to 6.45 food still not arrived so my daughter decides to contact them was then told it would be there in 10 minutes waited,waited,waited and waited come 7.15 still no delivery so I rings up on to be told it would be 2 minutes around the corner so waited ,waited,and waited eventually food arrived at 7,35 what a absolute disgrace and to top it all of there’s no fries what we ordered and the food is completely tasteless,,I’m sorry but since this place has been taken over the food and especially the service as gone completely down bank we certainly won’t be having anything from this place again at all just a waste of time ,,cj

Worst pizza Iv ever had cold and burn not had pizza in 10 months very disappointed over a hour wait wont use again put me off pizza for ever rubbish

We normally order from here and have become quite regular customers of village spice but unfortunately will not be using again order for delivery and last couple of times has come wrong but tonight ordered extra Doner meat with burger meal which cost extra and was not sent I called up the shop to explain to see if could have it sent out as my child has it off mine I was shocked when was told by a staff member said yes they will send out tomorrow I asked if could be sent out asap as eating it now not tomorrow 🙄 and was told they turn the heaters off at 9pm when they shut at 11pm 🤔 utter crap excuse will not be using again and we have always used these shame as the food is good but speak to u like crap as long as they have there money they don’t care if orders are wrong clearly

Absolutely shocking service ordered x2 small pizzas and then popped to Asda on the high street whilst they were being cooked or so I thought. Returned about 25 mins later expecting for them to be ready it oh no I was offered X2 pizzas which I had not ordered and the guys said that someone else had collected them.I think he means that he has given ours to someone else one of the delivery people no doubt. So then I had to wait a further 30mins for my pizzas to be cooked so all In all 1hr for x2 pizzas to be cooked. I will not be returning that for sure

Just finished a chicken vindaloo and it was genuinely spot on 👌 restaurant quality at takeaway prices. Decent size portions and extras I ordered were just as tasty. Would definitely recommend and use again 👍

Would not listen tonight when told we had received the wrong kebab. They were really rude, will never order from them again ! They do not deserve good custom !

Donner meat must have been yesterday's, got food poisoning thanks great stuff.

Ordered 2 cheese burger meals, both burgers weren’t the best, the cheese they put on it is probably by far the worst I’ve ever tasted, donner meat was dry and cold, looking like it was cooked the day before. Milkshake was literally just milk blended with chocolate and the size of a crushem which was a robbery. Overall I would not be coming back

Just bought chicken doner kebab on nan bread. (Mixed kebab) With added salad and chips. Taste was lovely 💕 Thank you. Fast service as I popped in as I was on the High street. Very filling for £10. Big portion. Still loads left 🤗

Used Kebabland for years, but why?? Just had a chefs special delivered from here and OMG best kebab ever had, fresh salad, hot on delivery and spicy taste to the seek kebab and Naan breads are top notch. Cheers guys, can't wait for the next one, you've added a new regular customer to your list👏👍

Have just binned our food. Value boxes, fairly small portions, Donner meat cold, partner's chicken tasted off he spat it out so I didnt even try mine. Disappointed.

First time going here had a curry a pizza chicken kebab and chips it was amazing.

Me and my family have been ordering here for the past 3 years and they have always been spot on, they are my favourite place and the food gets better and better every time. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 10/5

We waited nearly 2hours for a pizza and chips definitely not worth the wait cold pizza absolutely tasteless and very stodgy waste of money

Having spent 12 years in the military and 15 years front line 999 as well as a after club / pub fast food eater I think I know my way around the takeaway environment as a customer... I am also a bit of an old sweat to the order by app world and have never really been a fab of it as nine times out of ten you get a far smaller portion which is cold. However this restaurant bucks the trend... we moved close by last week and on the day of the move ordered out I had the chicken biriani with keema naan and the wife had a chicken tikka I advised her to get bhaji's as she may be hungry after her kebab. 20 mins after ordering off of food hub we had our food, it was piping hot fresh and tasty, however, the portions were gargantuan! I could have fed the two kids on what we had, in fact out 10 year old had a third of his mums kebab. I highly rate this take out!

Not got what I ordered when it got delivered,rang them n they were very un helpful and said I would have to pay to get the order delivered again for there mistake,I am a very good customer here won't b using them again.very disappointed.

I live 1 min from this restaurant, and in all hoesty dont use it enougth! But i cant have takeaways everynight or ill be huge! Great food and at first i thought it was because they knew me, but when my brother in law ordered from there on our behalf, the food was equally as good! Top lads running the place, always chipper and have a laugh with customers, my only gripe is that the place is too popular, so is always busy and sometimes full of kids at the weekend!
