Seaview Restaurant in Poole

Enjoyed a birthday celebration here. The view is amazing, beautiful outside terrace. We all really enjoyed it here, staff were very friendly, good atmosphere and a piano player what's not to like. Food was good too. Would highly recommend this restaurant, make sure you go.

Great view and service. Good food, large portions and reasonable prices. We loved the pizza and the vegetarian mezze board. We will be visiting again soon.

Our second lunch at The View. For our first lunch we shared the Mezze Platter options and loved the variety. Today we enjoyed Fish and Chips and their Burger. Fresh, good portions and delicious. Wonderful service again. A fabulous view across to Brown Sea Island. We’ll be back!

Amazing cafe with the most spectacular view. Get a great view from all the indoor tables too. Went here daily for breakfast and cannot get enough of the place. The homemade cakes are lovely! The staff are really friendly too.

Stick to drinks on the terrace. This restaurant and the Chinese (also located in the harbour heights hotel) have the best views of any restaurant in Poole. They should be rammed. They should be packed on a lovely spring evening, but they are not and now I know why ..... Sadly, the service and the food just aren't up to scratch. They are understaffed (or so it feels). On a glorious, sunny Bank Holliday weekend evening, the bar was deserted. No bar staff or customers in sight. I sat at the bar for ages waiting to be served. Plenty of staff passed me, heads down, not wanting to catch my attention. (Top tip - greet customers, apologise for the delay and if you can't help cause you're busy, send some else to help). I was also unable to eat on the terrace (Chinese) as there was only one member of staff on. I offered to come inside to place my order, which we agreed on. But when I ordered I was told they would bring all the food together. I declined and moved next door to the Italian. I was ignored and left standing again for ages, but once seated my order was taken quickly. The food arrived quickly too. Sadly the pasta was really overcooked. I mean stodgy and water logged. The carbonara sauce was sickly with too much cream. So in summary, view 5 out of 5. Service 2 out if 5 and Food 1 out of 5.

Stopped by, stayed at at sister hotel: all DIY no table service. Go to bar, buy drinks place order, get electronic bell and take drinks to table of choice, when bel rings go fetch your lunch!!!

Visited for our 29th Wedding Anniversary. Lovely lady at reception called Neelma and the male sever Bilal were very helpful and friendly. Our room had love hearts on the bed and chocolate. Made our day even more special. Thank you Harbour Heights Hotel. Poole.

Food was amazing. Staff were lovely and accommodating. Would recommend.

Asked for a rare steak, which came out medium. Subsequently shown a raw steak by the kitchen to demonstrate the colour of the meat! Very awkward, terrible service and an inability to cook a steak rare. Avoid.

Brilliant location and decent food but poor service.

Expensive but just as you would imagine an English castle to be. Great rooms. Great bar. Huge estate, gigantic high tea
