We ate breakfast here. Cooked to order eggs were available and I got a large omelette which was filling. Nicely done hash browns, croissants were lovely. I liked the quality of the food and the friendly service.

Ate here whilst celebrating my daughters birthday, it was part of a dinner, bed and breakfast deal. The food was good, a lovely meal was had by all, but we were blown away by how lovely the staff were, they gave my daughter a card, made a real fuss of her and gave her a birthday dessert. We were staying and eating here as the half way point on an action packed weekend, so had only picked it because of location, so to end up having such a lovely meal has really made it. Thank you.

We had been looking forward to this for a few months. Mum said book somewhere nice for Christmas dinner we will treat you. Many years ago just the two of us came here for Christmas dinner. There was someone playing Christmas songs at the piano. Drinks offered to us as we walked in. We were spoilt. Food and service was amazing. They even gave us Little gifts and flowers to take home. So was thought we would try it again. Bad mistake. On arrival we was shown straight to our seats. No mention of our pre dinner drinks and We had to ask for our Buck's Fizz at the table. All our meals had been pre ordered so we knew what we was having. Starters came real quickly. The deep fried Brie looked mass produced and a little shrivelled. The goose pate didn't have enough toast with. And the salmon was a little plain. Then the parsnip And apple soup came out immediately after. Yuck no taste what so ever. It was so bland no amount of salt and pepper would Give it any flavour. We also had to ask for Roll to go with it. Then they came and asked us what dinners we had ordered. Considering this was all preordered they should have known. And We wasn't ready to eat the main course straight after the soup. It's nice to have a gap between the courses. When it come out well the dinner was a massive let down. Three little Roast potatoes that looked like boiled potatoes had no colour. 3 small Brussels under cooked. 2 very small slices of carrot and a small slice of parsnip and 2 cubes of swede. The turkey look as if it had been sliced of a catering roll. This had a slice of ham inside of it and on top of that was a round slice Yes I say a slice of stuffing which had no flavour. This was presented on a smallish sized dinner plate with the gravy already served. I actually thought it might have been a child's portion. It was all hot but looked as if it had been pre plated a while before. I didn't enjoy it one bit. I did actually leave half of it as it was tasteless. The deserts I will say we're nice. So disappointed, we just wanted to get home. I'm doing the cooking next year. Or failing that we will go down the Toby inn. At least down there it won't cost you £65 per head. And you get adult sized positions and as much gravy as you want. We certainly will not be going there again.

Lovely food and great value for money, needed a sleep after I ate as the portions are very generous. The prices were more than generous and the staff very friendly, will definitely go again as this was a little gem I never knew existed so close to me

Having stayed at the adjoining Hilton Hotel for nine nights, I ate breakfast and dinner here everyday, and each time the food and service was exceptional. Breakfast was the best experience for me, the chef was regularly visible outside of the kitchen, bringing very tasty smoothies to the guests, and enquiring about their meal. The waiting staff were also very helpful, and friendly. 10/10.

2 of us went armed with a groupon voucher paid £39.99 for a £97 this gave you a 3 course meal for two with a bottle of wine. This was bought for me as a birthday present. On entering noticed most of the people booked had Groupon Nxt to their name in register. We had looked up menu online before going. The Menu given to us was a stripped back version, no steaks or any of the signatures dishes. We had Chicken tikka masala and spaghetti meat balls. The matri dee would not allow us to have our 2drinks instead of the wine. But the waitress was excellent and went and checked with someone else and we had a coke and a blueberry drink in exchange. We didn't have starters. The food was well presented but didn't taste of anything, it was so bland it was awful. We had deserts apple and rhubarb crumble with custard and salted caramel and chocolate tart. They were served on a plastic tile, mine was badly chipped. The slice of tart was 3cm wide at the thick end and only tasted of chocolate, a very cheap pudding which is on the menu for £7. The waitress was friendly, kind and efficient no complaints. I would not visit again and was a waisted voucher. We wouldn't have paid more than £35 for what we got

Had dinner at the restaurant with a colleague. The choice was OK, the service smooth and friendly. We thought the prices were a bit on the high side, likely because you can't really go eat elsewhere without getting a car.

4 of us went for an evening meal and were very pleased with the food which was excellent quality. The only drawback was that the service was very slow. We waited over half an hour for our starter which was soup so we couldn't understand why it took so long and then we had a further long wait for our mains. On the whole it was an enjoyable evening.

My friend invited me to lunch at the Seasons Restaurant in the Hotel as a thank you. She had picked up a leaflet a couple of weeks previously when attending a Wedding Reception which advertised a special lunch or afternoon tea offer. My friend had booked the lunch offer, but when we arrived and she gave her name we had been booked as an afternoon tea. We sorted that out and then asked if we could sit outside as it was such a lovely day.The staff said that they would set up a table outside, so we ordered a drink while we waited. The waitress came to take our order for lunch, (the table still hadn't been set), but the menu we were given wasn't the one we had the leaflet for. We asked if we could order from the leaflet and were told this was ok. Several minutes later we were told that this leaflet offer was no longer available. There was no date on the leaflet to say when it would finish! We were offered an alternative menu but the waitress didn't know what price it was. We decided to go ahead anyway and order. We got our starter but the table still hadn't been set, so we had to wait for cutlery and napkins (paper). We had ordered the smoked salmon and crayfish starter but weren't offered brown bread and butter or even a roll and butter.Again we received our main course before our cutlery and napkin (this time a cloth one). We were given small pots of sauces which were to us reminiscent of a greasy spoon type establishment. The one and only good point of this lunch was that the food was excellent. When we received the bill we were amazed to see that although the meal was the same price as the offer we had originally wanted, the 4 glasses of wine came to £23.80. As we had at no time been offered a wine list we were astounded at this price. As this is advertised as a 4* Hotel I would definitely say that the staff were very poorly trained, there was a serious lack of Management and organisation, and would definitely not recommend this Hotel or Restaurant.

Better food than usual for a Hilton. Otherwise similar standards of service, with a few nice touches like the amuse bouche before the meal.

There was fresh smoothies offered each day too.The evening meals were excellent. The portions very generous. We loved the Chicken Tikka, the advocado and chicken salad.

Service was sublime, could not fault it, the food however was rather a let down, eg the mushroom risotto was bland, the tandoori chicken was sour and stodgy, and the starters were surprisingly stingy, However good hygiene and atmosphere, good overall. Furthermore the breakfast was perfect, couldn't have asked for more!

There is a friendly atmosphere. It's always busy. Staff friendly and helpful. Good food and good value for money. There is an extensive menu and a good vegetarian choice. The one thing I would improve would be the if you order a lasagne or a pasta dish, you just get that; no side salad or bread. I would not mind paying a little extra to include these items in the price.

Every day, Seasons offers daily special deal. One course for 14 pounds, 2 course for 17 pounds and 3 course for 21 pounds. Main dish includes steak, fish, chicken and one vegetable dish and the menu changes daily. Quality and flavor of all dishes were excellent. Especially, I wouldn't miss buffet dinner on Tuesday and Wednesday. Service can be slow but friendly and courteous.

Came in here on a Saturday night and it should've been packed but it was absolutely dead. The bar surface/floor was horrible and sticky, it's so dark and loud in there we couldn't see/hear each other. There was about 4 tables in the whole room and it's just as well that the place was empty. We tried to go to the smoking area outside but it was locked and the bouncer made us go back downstairs to sit in the really loud music room. No thanks.
