Burnt to a crisp all I tasted was pure burntness absolutely disgusting,earlier I had kebab. Sickly overcooked and dripping with grease!

It's a bit hit and miss when you order online. We ordered a cheeseburger and it came with no cheese. Someone can't read.

they offer lovery cooked food and is one of the best chip shops around the area a bit dear on there prices but you get good food and its good that delivery to me has dont live close by but if in chelmsley wood call in sometimes staff are friendly

Found the driver wandering up the road even though he parked outside my house which is clearly numbered .. food was then a cold soggy mess

Please people be careful using just eat i paid for my order and was also sent a pin and the order never showed up and was then marked as delivered then I was told i would have to wait 5-7 working days for my money back just eat is failing badly

chips had grit in them and not cooked properly. kebab was small we ordered large and they said that they had changed the menu so you get what we got. WILL DEFINITELY NOT ORDER FROM THE SEAGULL AGAIN A WASTE OF £46 FOOD VERY POOR.

I got food delivered from here 22/8/2024 at 16:45 and the chicken was undercooked I got a picture of it and informed just eats just be weary

usually the food is OK, but today the donnor meat had been cut off and kept in the tray it was rock hard and dried up, and the chips were dry and tasted stale, it all went in the bin, waste of money and very disappointing

I ordered on just eat for 21.15pm but when I called this fish bar the Lady wasn’t very forthcoming. Anyway the ‘Fresh’ food arrived it was cold’ The chips were definitely cooked yesterday and I ended up with these soggy burned chips. NEVER Again will I order from here EVER Again!!

Disgusting customer service I ordered from here as the chips and kebab are so nice I received the kebab and salad but NO chips so I rang .... he was so rude its un true saying I never ordered chips so I replied yes I did and he then slammed the phone down on me ... absolutely disgusting will never go there again you have been warned ⚠️

The worst fish and chips I've ever had the chips were hard and dry and full of bad bits!! Not cheap so disappointing used to be the best no longer! Going to make myself a sandwich as I couldn't eat that junk!!

food was cold when delivered. spent £35.80 for food that was terrible. just eat says there's nothing they can do as it arrived on time. There not bothered that it was cold. like to see them place a expensive order that's cold and be told the same as me. Terrible service from a big company. How many other people do they do this too.

Usually best chippy ever but we ordered kebab wrap two weeks ago and it was perfect, ordered this week and there was half the amount of kebab meat in the two wraps we ordered. I know things are going up every where but the jump in cost should not be accompanied by a decrease in food. 🙁

Ordered take away delivery as was unable to go collect, came cold as if it had sat out for a while before being delivered. For a place that is a 10-15 minute walk away I had the audacity to presume I would get warm food at least. The quality is usually pretty good when ive collected in the past but this time the chips were hard inside and had green marks on them, Not very nice and very dry bland and cold.

We placed an order it came after 1 hour which is fine as Saturday nights can be busy. The food came cold?? I don’t reheat food anyway and don’t see why I should have to. I contacted the chip shop to be told we will re send food out again or give a credit note for next time. It would have taken another 30-40 mins to get food?? I tried to explain if you are a diabetic and have injected in preparation for the food you can’t wait again.. I’m just so disappointed in the place and was fobbed off with the lady saying contact the place you ordered it threw? It was direct to the restaurant where she was talking to me from as that was the chipshops number?? 🤬🤬 Never again

I'll say this I work always away and have already eaten Thousands of kebabs as for the one from this restaurant is very very tasty, in the salad I missed the jalapeño and the better garlic sauce but the chilli sauce is perfect Very fast service

The fish was tiny but tasted ok, but would have tasted better with the salt and vinegar that was requested. The naan bread with the donor meat was crispy and had to be snapped apart to eat. Salt and vinegar was requested but none was put on any of the food so couldn’t enjoy the food how I would have liked to.

I received the wrong order. The driver contacted the just eat to tell them who said to say it was delivered and they will email me with an update. I am still waiting full refund. I never received anything.

Chips were poor and scraggy, only just warm, hardly any sauce and only small amount of meat for a large compared to if you went in to the shop itself, basically 3/10

Definitely the best local chip shop around, never had a bad experience here, all of the others seem to be decent and then start to slip in quality. Seagull have always kept up the standards let's hope they stay doing what they are because they are doing something right to keep this quality of food 👍

Cod was spoiled by very thick batter. Chips were disgraceful. all scraps, hard and dry! Find it hard to believe they can’t get the basics right. Loads of staff working, how could no one see the chips were not fit to serve

This used to be the best chippy on the wood but sadly not anymore. Chips are not consistent, some days they are lovely, other days they are a bag of mush and grease. The pizza we ordered were shocking. It arrived and was stone cold so we thought. It wasn't cooked!! The dough was still doughy and the meat toppings were raw. I phoned the seagull to tell them about the pizza and they just said I need to sort it with uber. Shocking service and he even admitted they don't quality check the pizzas even though they put a quality check sticker on the box. Sorry but I will avoid this place with a passion now, there are so many better chippys around. The one at tile Cross for example is a million times better. Mackadown chippy knocks spots of the seagull.

Wrong food came, ordered a larger mixed kebab and kebab in naan came instead.

The plaice was so covered in thick batter and very very greasy. It was horrid. Call the chippy standard batter. Eaten a few times before great. They said next I will get it replaced no charge. Nine pound for fish total order sixteen pound odd.

Visted the chip shop asked for chicken meat with chips with ketchup and mayonnaise, I ask the stupid woman if I could have a look at the meal she said I done what you asked for on returning home I found out that dumbo had given me something totally different from what I asked for and to top it off the food was dry and disgusting she didn’t even put not a tablespoon of sauce on the meal. I was that angry I called the woman all the names you could think of😡🥲

The redhead I shared my food with was unbelievable. 5 stars.

Never received my order and bloke was so rude on the phone and no help what so ever.. never ordering again.

The reason I have given 3 stars is not the actual overall quality but for other reasons. The kebab was not in a naan and was in pita and based on the prices paid you would be forgiven for thinking so and overall very stingy on the amount of meat inside the kebab and also I’m the Moses meat and chips

Foods always hot and tasty on every single delivery I've had .😶I've had quite a few aswel Unfortunately I've had to change my review.I ordered off deliveroo and I got a pizza with the most rancid sour taste I've ever experienced. Fast forward nearly 2 weeks I order for my dad directly off there site for my dad to be throwing up and poorly tummy and runs all night .There's something really wrong at the minute and it's not like there nor aware !

What a lovely meal, and lots of it too. We had haddock and chips and cod and chips. So many chips we couldn't eat it all. The gravy was lovely too. Next time we get this we will share one portion of chips. 😄

Good food, even tho the blonde lady gave my sister hot Sauce when nobody asked for it. We sent it back after my sister had an elergic reaction to it. And the male that helped with the kabab meat and chips thank you so much. You’re a life saver. On the way to hospital now Safe to say I will never be ordering from that blonde lady again

This is my go to chippy, it's always busy which I consider to be a good thing as everything is nice and fresh, and I think it is good value.
