First ever experience of takeaway at Pizza Hut as normally sit -in. Never been to this restaurant before and have got to say the staff were extremely helpful and food was good. Had one of the meal deals which was recommended which was good value for money.

The staff were really nice and the food was too.

Great for children, as the buffet is perfect for them to pick and choose what they like. It's £9.99 per child and includes bottomless drinks and ice cream. I had one happy daughter! A good selection of pizzas and the staff were great. There were two guys working when I went, a young lad and a guy who was maybe in his thirties. Their customer service skills were brilliant and they were always busying themselves doing something. A real credit to your company. The atmosphere was good and the decor really appealing. I'd definitely go again.

We had a fab experience for our little girl's birthday. Food was lovely, atmosphere was great and the shining star of the evening was Ben who was the manager (I think) and served us. He was lovely, helped us with the ordering process and to get the best deal. Everything was well timed and any issues were dealt with straight away. I didn't like the new bbq sauce so he got some different sauce from the kitchen, they were topping up the ice cream factory but my daughter was confused where everything had gone (she's 4) so Ben brought it over and served her nicely asking us to say when to stop for each topping and the drink machine ran out of flavour when my husband used it but they immediately topped it up and offered to get his drink for him. My daughter also received a brownie with a birthday candle on for free as a surprise. It was just brilliant 🙂

Been here many times , service average, prices have gone up as with anywhere. Pizzas are the standard Pizza Hut pizzas but good quality as always (nothing special).

Party of two went for a lunch time buffet deal. We paid nearly £16 for the buffet, drink and with the ice cream included. I will say the buffet prices have doubled over the last few years so this is not a frequent eating venue for us. Also CASH IS NOT TAKEN HERE, and food is ordered through a phone app, hence the one star. If you are a millennial then you would get to eat here, over 60 and you would struggle. Food was great though once you deal with the complicated of getting to eat it. Shout out to the manager though and the nice staff

Great place to go with family and kids. Decent variety of pizzas to satisfy and limited mains options. They have this great offer of free unlimited salad with a main meal, which is great. The salad bar has a great variety to choose from. I also like the bottomless drinks option, pay slightly more but then refill how many times you want. It is a nice place to go for a bite if you are in Star city.

Great place to eat I enjoy coming here, good food although not too much to choose from, not too expensive, plenty of free parking in the car park. Can easily recommend this to others.

The lunchtime service (before the buffet closes at 3PM) was disappointing. The service was unfortunately very slow. The pizza at the buffet was replaced very slowly too, it doesn't taste as great as it used to. There is a lack of range for the pizzas. Perhaps the service would be better in the evening times. On a positive note, we were seated quickly and it was easy to order online through the barcode provided.

We went for my daughter’s birthday on Friday 8th March. The greeting was great but the service was very slow. By the time our food arrived we was over our hunger and took it all away with us including deserts. Paying a premium is ok when the service is great and evening isn’t ruined by other diners and poor service. The experience has made us consider never coming back to any Pizza Hut

Variety of salad and pizza lovely

Gone down hill lately, had the buffet again and the choices were basic. No pasta available yet still charged full weekend price, which isn't cheap anymore

We went to Pizza Hut for lunch. As soon as we walked through the door, staff were there to serve and assist. There was no pressure to dine and we were given the choice of meal options before deciding to stay. My daughter loved the salad bar and ice cream factory. This was her first visit to Pizza Hut and she made the most of it!! Pizza was warm and fresh; salad bar was topped up when needed and the ice cream was probably the best part for my little one. All of the staff were helpful and delivered a GREAT service. We took a while to eat but there was no pressure for us to leave even though they were busy. Thank you very much and a special mention to the young man for his fantastic and courteous service. So sorry I did not ask your name.

Everything is fine, but the pizza dough can be improved.

My foods basically freezing with a cold drink on top on it and adding extra time as ur driver didn’t understand Wht I was sayin and didn’t go by the address

Apart from the greeter at the beginning, everything else about this experience was disappointing. The pizza was undercooked, the wings were barely edible. The nicest thing about the meal was the fries and the Pepsi.

Really gone downhill! Pizza was horrid, hard and tasteless! The fries were not cooked properly, my son waited 20 mins for them. Had to get up ourselves and ask for them several times. The staff are rude and miserable. Would not be coming here again!

I have been a regular customer at this particular restaurant for around 7 years. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive. The buffet provides great value for money and although I have been to many pizza hut restaurants this one is by far the best!!! Thanks to all the staff here for looking after us for all these years. I went to Birmingham for a day out, but the traffic was heavy, and I didn't want to spend ages in a traffic jam, I knew Star City was nearby. Parking is free, and there are no congestion payments. There are a few choices for food, but Pizza Hut has a gluten-free menu. The waiter showed my party to a table with comfy seats. You can order via a QA code, but that was a little confusing. The waiter was happy to take an order the old way. I have to say I've been to a few Pizza Huts, but the waiter was the most helpful I've ever met. The food is excellent service fantastic.

Took my son and few of his teenage friends for lunch for his birthday. The manager on the day, Tanjeem, helped us make our choice of meal. All the staff were super friendly and helpful. The order was slightly wrong and I didn't notice but the staff did and offered us a free pizza!

The food I received was stone cold, the garlic bread was hard that I could not eat it and the corn on the cob was cold 🥶

We went there just after opening for lunch and at this time it was almost empty. Nice and quiet.

Me and my wife had lunch here today. It was our fist time in this PH branch and we were impressed by the quality of the service from the staff. I didn't realise you had to order online via the QR code, but the lad in the grey checked shirt came over to me and helped me out on that front. The lad in the glasses in the kitchen was singled handedly knocking out the pizzas for the buffet and for the sit down orders. The young lad in the grey PH t shirt was friendly, he cleared our table and asked us if we needed anything else. We noticed that all other customers were promptly seated and explained how to order. All stations were clean, it was easy to get up and get pizzas, salads and drinks. We were slightly let down by the ice cream factory, as it was only 1 flavour and also the syrup and toppings were on a table far away from the ice cream factory. But this was a little inconvenience. Maybe bring the syrup/topping table more closer to the ice cream factory. Overall we had a pleasant lunch. I will recommend the buffet service in this branch and next time we will try the sit down menu. Well done guys.

Food arrive 15minutes late and it was cold.

we came at 9.22pm, 4 adults 8 kids and the female manager on shift turned us away due to no staff apparently , and we’re going to make a mess . what a joke that was . obviously not her own company so doesn’t care about the loss of earnings as they’re still getting paid till 10pm

The layout is good. We were greeted and seated quickly. Our drinks, cutlery and food was brought out promptly. The staff are so friendly and helpful they really are a credit to the star city restaurant. The food was hot and tasty. It was easy to order.

Didn't eat as you have to use the app from the barcode , didn't work with three debit cards , why can't you just order and pay the staff ,. Useless

I was really disappointed at the buffet option. It was for my son's 13th birthday where he brought a number of friends. The meal cost £120 in total for 6 people, which I consider overpriced in the first instance, however the quality of food on the buffet was atrocious. Even when fresh pizza came out, it was bare, virtually no sauce, no cheese and scant toppings. Where there were toppings they ended 2" from the edge of the pizza, effectively selling me lots of bread. Two teenagers had off the menu pizzas and the quality difference was blinding, to the point I was embarrassed for the others for the poor pizza offer they had. Two of the teenagers only had 2 pizza pieces in the end, despite paying £19.99 each. The other two had 3 pieces but left most of them because they were basically just bread. I myself usually indulge in 6 or 7 pieces, I gave up after the 4th as it was akin to eating bread. I appreciate balancing the challenge of profit/loss with the buffet, but if I had have paid half as much I would still be as disappointed as I am now. Last time I go here and to be honest, can't see me going back to PH again at this price with poor product. Service was fine, staff friendly, but food was poor.

Each time I go to pizza hut, which is very rarely now as most have closed I get more and more infuriated.... The online ordering system is awful and the restaurants WiFi is usually just as bad.... I am unsure why they have decided that an actual person taking an order is beyond there capabilities any more but as a customer its really annoying. And then the app asks whether I want to leave a tip, when I have to collect my own salad and bowl, collect my own drink, grapple for 15 minutes with the online menu and if a buffet fetch that food as well.... what service am I tipping? Only went this time as I have been begged for aboutb2 weeks by a 6 year old and I finally caved! The food was okay, portions for the flat breads seem to have gotten smaller, the costs seen to have shot up since my last visit so now I wouldn't really say it was worth the money. Wouldn't rush back, this would be to all pizza huts not just this one.

Went in for lunch with my son, he had buffet I had the new melts, cheesy bites with bacon. For the buffet the pasta was left on top for about 15 minutes, a man and his child came in and had to wait 12 minutes to be seated because the member of staff was too busy talking to her friends who were dining. The new melts that were advertised were nothing like advertised, the dough was so thick nothing actually melted and was too hard to cut through, the cheesy bites with bacon tasted awful as if the bacon had gone off it smelt awful. They did refund for the bites. Totally disappointing visit today on what usually is a good place. Oh and the ice-cream was all bitty

Easy online orders and mobile payment has less hassle and good staff quick serving of glasses for drinks and dessert bowl (although ice cream bowl seems small for adult payers so double trip needs in the machine) not much pizza variety choices on weekend I guess on this branch considering the value for money. Buffet will not benefit the young member of family in my opinion. Salad bar taken my satisfaction so⭐️⭐️⭐️for me.

Your average Pizza Hut. Not the cleanest of places and the seating is tight. The buffet area is also small and can get very crowded. The pizzas were ok nothing to sing about. It just about does the job.

Pizza Hut Star City-visited on a weekday before 3pm Greeted warmly by KoriE (as on receipt) we were looked after throughout, even though initially not many staff members were around. He had an easy going and friendly manner and helped us make choices based on our budget-which we appreciated. The pizza and buffet were spot on and the awesome customer service was a lovely bonus. Overall: we were seated where we liked, relaxed ambience, KoriE and other servers were kind and attentive, fast and tasty food and the toilets were clean! Zero complaints. After not going to a Pizza Hut for a few years I'm so pleased my friend and l visited today and we'll be back soon. Thank you!

Gone here twice whilst over at Star City and both times in a large group (15-20) adults and children. Staff have always been more than happy to help, find us seats and service with a smile. Food has been fresh and hot both times and the children love the all you can eat ice cream.

I don’t even want to give this place 1 star absolutely ridiculous I came here one day a spider in the take away box dust everywhere and there are flies in the food there are some insects on the plates too if someone came to inspect this place for hygiene this place will fail absolutely very dirty

Wonderful! Awesome! Great service today from staff here! I had my child’s 8th birthday lunch here, 15 children in total … had a great spot so not in the way of other customers- I got to put balloons on the chair, prep the table, food was ready and served, ThanQ Jack. Jack made sure to check we were ok, if I needed anything he was on hand, great manager also … I didn’t get his name and Yasmin was so helpful… but Jack -you are the best🤩

Out of the 4 children with us all under 5 , 2 youngest wed 2 years old. I paid the all childs buffet price for them as well, as when ordering it’s says children under 12 pay the child price. BUt Googled it later and found out2 an under a free with an adult paying for a buffet. There were 3 adults in the group. Feel cheated as the2year old only had a couple of spoons of icecream for £ 19.99. The worker didn’t even comment or say anything

Staff direct you to the app to order. No interaction with them other than being seated, food being brought over, and waving good bye. Took a few minutes to catch anyone's attention when we entered. Not the best.

It was My first visit to pizza hut in star city and we had a wonderful time. The managers and the staff are all wonderful and very helpful, there was a young man who took our order and his name was Jack, that young man deserves a lot of credit for his hard work and professionalism as he made us feel so welcomed that we are planning our next visit there just to see him again 😀. The food was spot on the desert was delicious and the price was reasonable. I would like to say a big thank you to Jack and the managers once again for making our day a day to remember for a long time. Faysal and the family 👪 ❤️

Came here today (8th April) and was appalled. The one good thing to come away from was that the food was fairly good. HOWEVER, the service given by staff was appalling! We were met by a member with no smile and took us to a table of 4 (there was 5 of us) so we all had to squeeze in because it was one of the circular booth style seating. We were told on arrival that we could only pay by card which is fair enough however when we got to the table we got told we could ONLY order by scanning the QR code on the table. Bear in mind this was the same staff member. We later found out however that you didn’t have to order on your phone and pay then cos we saw people paying in the restaurant! Anyway, we ordered on the app, got drinks fairly quickly and had a bit from the salad bar which was ok. Little did we know the downhill spiral that was going to come. We waited nearly an HOUR for food to only receive half our order. We asked a staff member to look for us to which he did to find out the news that our missing side and pizza had ONLY JUST BEEN PUT IN THE oven despite having the rest of our order TEN minutes previous to this. Then after we finally ate everything after the delays we let a staff member know we were ready for desserts. How long do you reckon a chocolate brownie, ice lolly and cookie dough take to be made, 10-15 minutes? Nope… THIRTY minutes later still no sign of desserts anywhere. We again asked a staff member how long it was going to be to AGAIN find out they had only just put the cookie doughs and brownies in the oven and they said about 5-10 minutes. Still no sign of desserts to which we asked again and a couple minutes later they brought out the WRONG DESSERTS! We just said at that point we’ll keep them because we’ve been waiting for AGES! A meal which would usually take about an hour and a quarter took just over TWO hours! I am honestly appalled and I can guarantee that I have a higher chance of being struck by lightning thane EVER going back to that restaurant. Please don’t be put off by visiting star city as a whole though because that’s brilliant it’s just the Pizza Hut that really lets it down. And I hope any staff at Pizza Hut star city, Birmingham are deeply ASHAMED of themselves! Awful! Do not eat here!

Food seems overpriced for what it is. Service was good, and food tasted average.

Location at Star City was easy to get to and free parking is a bonus. It must have been good because 6 year old stood outside dancing in the rain and singing “come into Pizza Hut, it’s the best place to eat”. As he was a bit dubious before we came, I think I can say it was a big hit with him and his sister. Thank you.

We dined there last night and it was awful ! The salad bar looked like it had been hit by a bomb and the floor was covered in food . The place was absolutely filthy , food all over the floor , dirty glasses . We were even asked if we wanted plates when our pizza was bought to us , well yes of course we do ! The staff really need to sort themselves out apart from the lady who greeted us , she was very polite . I normally like coming here but last night was just something else !

Not sure why there's mixed reviews, this is an amazing place to eat at!! The staff are wonderful and they can control the environment with ease. Even though the place is literally packed you don't feel like you're struggling to get to the drinks or the food because everyone looks out for each other. Its a very nice environment and I love coming here!

Me and my wife went in and we were greeted immediately by a very friendly well mannered young man, he thoroughly detailed the vegan options and also showed us the salad bars vegan options which were plentiful. We ordered easily using the QR code and our food arrived quickly and was presented nicely. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and we thoroughly enjoyed how caring all the staff members were towards us. The staff here are truly unique and amazing. We left smiling and would definitely return. The staff are all brilliant!
