Scrummies, Teignmouth RFC in Teignbridge

Well as the Sunday roast was so good we decided to try the breakfast. It was amazing!!! Buffet style so you can eat what you like. All fresh, hot, excellent quality and lots to choose from!!! Eggs are cooked to order - any cooking method that you'd like. They had that rarity - fried bread which is a guilty pleasure!!!! Coffee was very good and overall is was a delightful experience for a very good price - we have already been back!!!!

We are locals and it's taken us ages to get around to trying the Sunday carvery!!!! Well, what a surprise!!!! It's was probably the best carvery I have had - and I've had a few!!!! It felt properly home cooked, it was plentiful and delicious. Thick cuts of meat, 5 choices, big plates not like other places that try to control the amount you help yourself to. Loads of fresh veg , continuously topped up, massive Yorkshire puddings, cauliflower cheese, roast potatoes and proper gravy - all of the condiments to accompany. And all at a very reasonable price. There were 110 people booked in on the day we went, but we only queued for 2 minutes and all of the food was topped up - they manage the numbers incredibly well and the numbers are a testimony to the great meal we had!!!! 👏 We will definitely be returning!!!
