Scruffy Murphy's in Blackpool

Fuimos al pub dos veces en nuestro corto descanso. Primero fue una visita agradable. Volví el sábado, muy muy ocupado debido al fin de semana del día de Patrick. Queríamos comer y había una mesa sentada al lado de un estante, así que nos sentamos con el cuello torcido. Decidimos irnos, al levantarnos tuvimos a la abuela (la cocinera) nos preguntó si estaba todo bien, respondí amablemente sí gracias. Ella procedió a caminar detrás de nosotros cuando nos fuimos preguntando por qué se iban y qué estaba mal! Hasta el punto de que llegué a la puerta para salir al exterior (mi hub ya se había ido) e hice que la mujer agarrara silla en el escalón exterior y me dificultara la salida, de nuevo, «¡POR QUÉ TE VAS! ) En este punto me sentía acosada, por suerte para ella ella ella obtuvo el lado decente de mí que procedió a decirle que mi centro tiene ADHA, él no trata bien con mucha gente y no poder moverse. Esto me consiguió una mirada sucia y PERMITIDO SALIR! NUNCA en mis días me han intimidado para explicar por qué no me alojo en un pub / bar, etc.

Esta tiene que ser una de las peores casas públicas que he tenido la desgracia de frecuentar. Tiene la atmósfera de un bache de velocidad. El personal es indiferente a los clientes. Sucio. Cuando en Blackpool sin duda uno a evitar.

Vinimos a ver BGT en los jardines de invierno, encontramos murphys desaliñados a la vuelta de la esquina , absolutamente un dios enviar como típico clima británico que estaba lloviendo, fue recibido con una cálida sonrisa y una encantadora hospitalidad, gracias 😊

La mejor pinta de Guinness en Blackpool, salvo ninguno! Me encantó! El lugar puede ser animado a veces, pero nunca está esperando mucho tiempo para ser servido.

Llamé aquí para el almuerzo del domingo hoy antes de tomar un tren a casa. El almuerzo del domingo por £ 10 cada uno es para morir porque había todo en el plato relleno de carne 3 Yorkshire pudín salsa de manzana asado pudín tostadas patatas col zanahorias guisantes y mucho más sin duda volverá

Gran pub sin lujos El personal del bar es muy servicial y servicial La comida es casera y muy razonable Me encanta

La música alta te recibe en la puerta, lo que podría alejar a los clientes potenciales, pero una vez dentro se convierte en un fondo tan fácil de hablar, menú muy claro con especiales en los tableros. Pida sus bebidas en el bar, el chef viene a su mesa para el pedido y aunque muy ocupado la comida viene increíblemente rápido en el interior se presenta en el estilo de bar tradicional irlandés con un montón de diferentes áreas de asientos. Nuestra comida es excelente incluso vino con una advertencia de que mi curry estaba caliente antes de pedir. El chef va con el nombre de la abuela, qué dama tan encantadora. Pruébalo y consigue buena comida y una pinta de Guinness que hacen cero también!

Disappointed visit was our fault going on a Tuesday No food service and this was one of the main reasons as been told food is A1 But will be back ASAP Sat for a few hours as the music was good and the bar is very friendly. The bar doesn't look very welcoming but rest assured the staff are friendly and the place is spotless. After a few beers we went to local shop to buy some food and bar staff had no problems with us eating on site Sitting outside on a warm sunny day Happy days

Had Sunday dinner and wow it was fantastic for the money. Will be back. Very nice pub old style with abit of Irish with it drinks very good too

A very nice public house in the spit and sawdust style as opposed to more snobby places they do have a disabled entrance which staff will open for you but no disabled toilet although I did manage, well worth a visit

Wow i was not expecting the quality of the food that we received.. Two of us ate for 14 pounds! My kid had the 8 pound daily special lasagne and i had a toastie. All home made and delicious, presented nice and clean with salad and chips. The waitress appears to also be the cook, but its well worth the wait! We will be regulars now that we are new in town and looking for some regular haunts. Well done Scruffys you were a pleasant surprise at a great price :)

Utterly gobsmacked at our experience today. We are not regulars as such but we go in at least once a month and have done since we moved here 6 years ago. Today we thought we would introduce our friends visiting to the place because it is usually so friendly but today was shocking. I'll start off by saying, I am a snowflake and I am not one of those nieve parents who thinks their child can do no wrong but in general, our child is well behaved. Four yes FOUR times the bar staff thought it was appropriate to snap on our child and for pathetic reasons. The first time, the "chef" told our child she was 2 floors up and could hear her shouting which was laughable because my child was actually sat quiet on her tablet and it was another child (who wasn't even that bad) who was excitable and shouting. Another time was when we was coming back from the toilet, I told my child to go to her dad at which she ran straight to him which was less than 1ft and a staff member shouted "oi, stop running" and there was two other occasions were the staff was extremely rude. Like I said, my child is not perfect but there was no justified reason for them to snap on her. If she was being a little sod then surely you would approach the parents and either ask them to rein the child in or ask them to leave, not snap on a child for crying out loud. My partner works in a bar which allows children and of the kids are being sods, he always speaks to the parents, not the children. I do agree that pubs are for adults BUT why allow kids in when you clearly don't like them.
