Scoop Ice Cream Parlour in West Somerset

awful customer service we waited ages just for a single scoop of ice cream, service was awfully slow. whilst getting serviced the lady on the till yawned and didn’t even bothered trying to cover her mouth, my daughter politely asked for cookie dough which we waited for 10 minutes until someone actually told us cookie dough wasn’t available at that time so she would need to re pick so she chose honey comb and the lady put a pathetic scoop of ice cream on the cone and gave it to us which me and my daughter then both tried turns out it was caramel and wasn’t even what she asked for so i took it back and the lady apologised then put the ice cream back into the tub AFTER ME AND MY DAUGHTER BOTH LICKED IT, we eventually got the right ice cream but she could of easily gave an ice cream containing nuts to someone deadly allergic, we also witnessed the tub of spoons fall on the floor to which the workers scooped them back up and put them onto the counter again, wouldn’t suggest the hygiene and customer service was appalling! everywhere else in butlins 10/10

Every flavour you can imagine they have. Have an ice cream treat in a cone or tub. Flakes sprinkles chocolate bits fudge pieces. They gave everything for everyone. Ice cream heaven. We visited multiple times on our break

Ice cream choice decent, tasty, a bit pricey However staff working behind the counter quite unapproachable looking, arms folded,straight faced, minimal response when dealing with the customer. Is off putting

Ice cream very nice and always enjoy coming here. However, there could be more flavours on offer and definitely need more staff!! If you have just one big order, like ours, the queue builds up substantially and we felt embarrassed because of this.

The staff are extremely slow and lazy, customers have to wait for hours to get a scoop of ice cream.. I Myself am a gelato vendor and single handed served hundreds of customers within half an hour or less The people queuing at the scoop was is than 20 and staff are completely useless in serving few scoops Disgusting and definitely not worth the service or the brand Bunch of muppets

The Ice Cream was superb here! Just be careful with the seagulls. Its like they have gone crazy after a CV-19 lock down and their making up for lost time!

There were a large selection of ice cream and different size cones. With a choice of toppings and sauces.

Lovely little place with lots of ice cream choice and nice staff would highly recommend a visit yum 😋

Visited here with our young daughter (6 months old) with the view of finding her something dairy free in place of her 1st ever icecream on her 1st holiday because she has allergies. We asked the young lady behind the counter what was suitable for a someone with such allergies and she suggested the Sorbet. FAB, something yummy for my little lady whilst we had the real stuff. So she made this up and I went off to get the baby ready and came back for my icecreams not thinking much of it. Later in the afternoon my daughter started becoming unwel in her usual dairy reaction fashion, so I went to scoop and just watched them before I asked and it turns out they use the same scoop for both icecream and sorbet, washing it in between in a pot full of the same water, I asked the lady who had served me earlier and she confirmed this 😡 This has now been looked into via Butlins management and things have changed as I have seen myself which is fab but I think people need to be aware.

The choices are extensive, the Ice-Cream is of good quality, lots of toppings to choose from. The children would have visited everyday if they were allowed.

The ice cream is really tasty and flavoursome. The prices were reasonable. The staff were friendly and helpful.

We visited here on 2 separate occasions during our stay. The ice cream was really nice. It wasn't cheap, but what do you expect, you are by the seaside and in a holiday resort. The options are to have your ice cream in a cup, in a cone, or on a hot waffle. Both times I went and asked for a hot waffle. I got the same answer both times: they didn't have any! Why would you advertise something you don't have? Come on Butlins!

We stopped here for an ice cream. It was really nice with some great flavours. I had the salted caramel which was really good.

Ice cream is expensive. Sell cheaper, move more. Increase foot traffic, make more money. A simple concept. The coffee list seems like barista style with prices to reflect but is in fact a cheap and nasty machine coffee without fresh milk. Come on Butlins. Costa express on the resort is 1p cheaper! Why intentionally rip customers off?

we came in here and it wad reasonably priced and the ice cream was very good.it tasted quite luxury as wel.

Apparently they do every flavour you could want, they don't. They do about 12 flavours but not all that much choiceThe ice great is gelato and is very nice but you pay for it. Don't expect much change from £20 for 4 tubs with sprinkles and sauce.

Great little ice cream parlour in Butlins. Slightly pricey ice creams but the quality makes them well worth it!

Chose a one scoop tub. Tiny tub, tiny scoop but quite simply, the best ice cream I have ever tasted.

Had three ice creams from here while staying at Butlins. Creamy and delicious. Prices not too bad and plenty of options.

Many different choices- with loads of addon options. Though if you are buying for a group you won't get much change back. Watch out for the sea gulls if you are savouring them outside.

Friendly staff, gorgeous flavours, with some really unusual ones, really creamy ice cream. Don't miss it.

In scoopmthere is a good choice of icecream. My favourite was the salted caramel, the chocolate and chocolate chip was also very tasty as was my husbands strawberry icecream.

A must for ice cream lovers. Every flavor you could want, big measures. Great helpful staff.We sat in side, Toilet clean, plenty of room to sit. Go try you be pleased.

went to Scoop Ice-cream parlour and has hot waffles topped with ice-cream. My husband has Honeycombe flavour and I had coconut. delicious

Nothing spectacular to note. It sells ice creams which are ok, and more choice than the van that comes jingling along your street. Holiday treat ice creams at holiday treat prices.

Nice choice of flavours, good helpings in tubs, cones etc and lots of toppings, flakes to choose from.

Popped in to take a break from the hot sunshine. Have intended to visit the parlour every time we've been to the resort, just never got round to it until this ear.
