Scoop in Fife

Several of the ice cream tubs in the fridge had long hairs on them. I think they need to think about using hats/hairnets. It’s really off putting to see various hairs in the display freezer.

Came in for ice cream whilst visiting Anstruther for the day. Ice cream very good quality and reasonably priced. Staff also pleasant. Would come back

Another most pleasant visit to this establishment. Staff as usual were cheerful and very helpful. Banana Split was my choice and excellent as normal. Added a couple of milkshakes to go. Again excellent. Highly recommend people to pop in when in Anstruther.

We waited for 15 minutes in a queue to buy ice cream only to see the person serving a hot chocolate with marshmallows in a very unhygienic way, by lifting them out of the jar with their hands without gloves ! We went elsewhere for ice cream.

Beautiful sunny day so went in for a cone. It was so delicious 😋 . Staff so friendly and very welcome. Looked really clean and tidy to sit inside.

Popped in for a coffee, but couldn’t resist the ice cream (after I’d managed to decide which ice cream, then which cone) Both absolutely excellent, and just perfect for a lovely sunny day!

Lovely staff, fabulous sundae 🍨. It was delicious. Made to feel very welcome, huge range of ice cream on offer. They also have dairy free options

My daughter loved this place. I asked her what she thought and her words were "So yummy and exciting". The staff were friendly and you got a good amount of quality ice cream for your money.

This is lovely little premises. It advertises as an ice cream parlour but do serve tea/coffee although they do not advertise this. Those who have tea coffee can order a scone or pancakes. They do need to have some sort of poster to advertise this as one couple entered and left as they thought they only served ice cream.

So much choice, lots of flavours of icecream to choose from. Friendly service and the icecream was delicious. Would definitely come again to try another flavour.

Fabulous range of desserts coffees etc and also dog friendly. Reasonably priced for fantastic sized portions. Great with allergens too

After our terrible meal at The Wee Chippy we decided to cheer the kids up with an icecream. The ice cream was nice but for the price shocking!! Couldn't believe the portion size for what we paid, I don't think people will be happy with these tiny portions.

Bought 4 tubs of ice cream which were lovely however the portion sizes of the tubs was incredibly mean! £4.20 for 2 very small scoops. Might have just been a rogue staff member but would never go back. Need to go to Italy to see how it’s done.

My family and I last visited Anstruther back in August 2021, where the sea front shops looked drab and in much need of some TLC. Fast forward to November 2023 and we are back in the area again and pop down to the sea front, if for no other reason than to watch the huge waves crashing over the harbour walls. To our surprise we notice a new sign above one of the shops, not screaming at you as to what the shop is, but enough to get you interested to see first hand. We entered (dog friendly as well), to discover a new Ice Cream parlour, not just Ice Creams, Coffee's, Waffles, Sweets and much more. The staff were friendly and very accommodating to our requests. My daughter and I share a "death by chocolate" ice cream (4 scoops of ice cream, cream, waffles, brownie pieces, marshmallow pieces, enough sauce to keep you going for a week). Wow!!!! We finished it just. No pressure to get you out of the door either, the staff were happy to talk. I just hope the next time we visit, they are still there as they are a much needed boost to the sea front in Anstruther.

An absolute must visit. We are not local but visit Anstruther every time we visit Fife. Scoop is new and boy what a refreshing addition it is to the seafront. A modern, clean and inviting frontage (sad to see several tired, jaded and tatty frontages) and just as great inside. Staff were brilliant, friendly and helpful. Had an array of snacks, coffee and fabulous ice creams. Scoop really sets a benchmark for others to follow and I hope they get lots of support to keep this little business going from strength to strength.
