Lovely halal food spot in kirkaldy, their buffet prices and variety is quite nice, we loved the starters and the nan. Will definitely be back again

Very disappointed with my takeaway from zeste this evening after 2 hrs of waiting on delivery I phoned to find out where it was and told there had been a mix up with my order but it was now on its way but when it arrived it was cold.I’ve ordered from zeste before without any problems meal arrived quickly and food was good but don’t think I will be ordering again which is a shame as it’s usually the best indian takeaway by far

Saturday lunch buffet. Food was barely warm and there was only one person serving. Food choice was limited and not great value for money

Good food just the delivery portion spices are atrocious. 5 small pakoras for £5.50.

Was here for the first time last Thursday. Had the lunch buffet won't be trying it again. Choice of 4 starters which were barely lukewarm. Main courses were hotter. Had the chicken korma which is super sweet. Garlic nan had no taste of garlic. Have to say I was disappointed after all the hype of the place opening earlier this year.

I have enjoyed sooo much the rebirth of the Jasmine Restaurant since Valentine’s Day this year! I love the style of the new restaurant - it’s beautiful! My whole family and I used to enjoy the food at the old Jasmine Restaurant and we have missed it for far too long. It’s wonderful to enjoy the new restaurant and, if anything, the food is even better than I remember. The buffet is, without doubt, the best in the area by a country mile. Long live the Jasmine Restaurant!😀

I was there when it opened. Because I worked there 😎🙄from Blackburn ,where's the other choices beside lamb bhuna ? I was there with Slim ! One time I lost my wages in Kirkcaldy ( Outside Night club) 😎Long time ago me and Nisar 😆!

It's a bit on the pricier end, prices could be lowered a bit. Saying that it's one of the best proper Indian restaurants around. First time ordering and I was so not disappointed. Yummiest pakoras and Biryanis! If you want an experience as close as possible to authentic Indian food, this will be your place. The delivery time was also surprisingly good. Came within half an hour at most while expected time was at least 1 hour!

Hands down the best Indian takeaway in the area, no longer sit in only takeaway, but the food is superb, had the lamb korma with garlic naan, the naan is a vivid green and is delicious. The korma is superb, lots of meat which was well cooked, rice was delicious.

Staying in hotel nearby on a work trip and decided to swap the restaurant for a takeaway in my room. Best idea ever. The food was punctual on collection, friendly people at the service, taste is amazing! Meat on madras is absolutely succulent! Huge thanks!!!!

We've spent £25 on 3 pizzas tonight (and that was using buy 1 get 1 half price deal). 20 minutes after ordering we received a phonecall saying there was no garlic paste which was no big deal, we changed from garlic and cheese bread to margharita pizza. An hour and a half later 2 pizzas arrived! I phoned immediately and was told they'd realised the margharita wasn't packed and would get sent out by another driver. It took 30 minutes to arrive. Overall the pizzas were not of the usual standard for jasmine pizzas. Chicken chasni one hardly had any sauce on the base. And the pepperoni pizzas and margharita were over cooked and dry.

Food was freezing cold when delivered. Won't be ordering again.

Food was lovely but cold. Phone up an meal and told 25 mins and turn up at 25 mins and food was there but think it was sitting for a while as was cold when we got home 3 mins later! Food was nice and the lady was very friendly even gave wee one a lolly. Didn't look like there was anyone in the restaurant part, looked clean

Used to be the best indian food around. Takeaway service is not great though. Not enough delivery drivers, the time estimate you get before ordering suddenly doubles after the order is accepted which is way worse than just being honest about how long it will take. Collections are the same though as you regularly arrive at the assigned time only to be kept waiting for a very long time with no update. The food is usually very good, but the quality of service is not. Delivery costs have gone up a lot but service is worse.

Cracking grub and friendly people

Excellent meal and the staff were 1st class, very friendly and made you welcome the minute you walk in, would highly recommend a visit here, there social distancing measures they have taken are good to. We will definitely be back.

After waiting for over an hour for our takeaway to arrive we took a look on the Uber Eats app and they had decided to cancel the order... After phoning them they then told us they don't do Uber Eats even though you can order from them on the app...

Wow what a meal Absolutely the best Indian food I've had in years....got a set meal for 2 and the highlight was the chicken Bhuna....i often go to some of the less specialised takeaways but you get what you pay for........the ingredients obviously fresh and the meat top quality.......i won't be going anywhere else in future........thanks to the chef/staff......that was a different league

As Alexander invaded India, so India invades Macedonia with this lovely wee restaurant tucked around the back of the shopping centre. Great value and good naan bread.

The fact this place gets such a good rating baffles me. We keep giving it another chance but to be brutally honest I've had better curries from asda!

Friday night sit in. First time visit, staff could not have done any more they were great! Food on the buffet banquet was hot, fresh and tasty. They topped it up constantly. Bizarre colour of naan breads but didn't put us off as they tasted great!

Great team of staff. Limited mains for vegetarians on the buffet & a bit dried up but we did arrive late. Starters were made fresh and were good. Excellent choice for meat eaters, my boyfriend was impressed.

We had a brilliant time tonight, the staff were friendly and very welcoming.. The food was amazing, this was our first visit but we will definitely be back... Thank you for a lovely time

Just had our first takeaway from here . Firstly - Food hot ,delivered fast and very tasty. If the restaurant food is as good as this. We will be eating out a lot more.. Well recommended

Some of the food ordered was great, the rest was disappointing, we ordered home delivery and for a certain time the driver arrived an hour early with our order after we picked a specific time slot and he was very rude when delivering.

I do love this place, great chicken, great full flavour sauces. Recently things have went down slightly. Takeaway, 1cm of oil settles on top, needs pouring out before your meal or it is ruined...sometimes you get large juicy wings followed by wings so small you wonder where they find such an anorexic chicken... also either by mistake or not but twice my Bill's been wrong. Extra £9 added, questioned and removed. Also an extra £4 the next... I put it down to price rise on the £4, then checked online, either not updated or isn't up.

Very little choice of starters for a buffet, main choices not much better, desserts were minimal.

Disappointing overall. Ordered the spicy korma and the dansac both pretty much stews not curries, not much between them and not a lot of flavour in either. The bombay potatoes, poppadoms and breads were nice, got two portions of rice we didn't order which was overkill.

The food is amazing ,service was so friendly welcoming .Come and try this gem of a restaurant.

Great food, great service , good price. Place lacked a little authenticity however. Felt very much like a generic pub setting. Really needed some Eastern flavours which were abundant in the food but lacking in the decor and atmosphere.

Not impressed with lunch buffet. It wasn't very hot. Chicken in korma was very tough. And they have put prices up. Not worth it.

Very good Indian, food nice and staff normally friendly have had a couple problems using just eat app here where food not arrived then call up and say they didn't get order. I just call the place myself now.

We ordered our food at 5pm with a chosen pick up time at 5.20pm. 40 min after the promised pick up time there was no food, nobody gave us any update and we didn't have a clue when our food is coming. They refused to give us a refund at first, only a promise of a discount the next time. After 55 min our food finally arrived and we have been given 50% off. Only they gave us a wrong order! We were told we shouldn't have ordered through the website but should have used the app instead. Like it was our fault the order was late and wrong. Absolutely ridiculous experience!

Lovely staff great food and a pleasant cosy restaurant. Prices are about average but the buffet is great value though limited choices. The staff encourage you to go up more than once which is nice for the less confident individual. Overall an enjoyable evening with the family.

Great service and great food. Staff are always very polite and helpful. The meal deals are phenomenal value and portion sizes are ample. As a family we have used the Jasmine as our main "Indian" for years and have never had a bad meal. Eating in is also a very pleasant experience with a varied menu offered (including buffet and lunch time deals) and a good choice of Beveridge's available.

Always has been an excellent place for Indian food. Been coming here for many years and it is as good now as it has always been and that is saying something in today's day and age. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Monday is a slow night, so we got excellent service. I had the 'spinach and potato' and the vegetable daal. The daal was ok, and I liked the spinach and potato....Luckily I had my cayenne with me as neither had a hint of spice. My friend from Texas didn't borrow the cayenne this time for his spicy chicken korma which was 'real hot'.

Have already posted review. However I have noticed the Photo on this site shows a very rundown Costcutters and NOT the Jasmine. The photo shown could potentially put people off coming to the Jasmine. It has a very welcoming frontage.

Inexpensive quality meal. We ordered off the menu but they also offer an extensive buffet for a great price. Super Speedy and Super Friendly.

Great indian food in glenrothes

The restaurant food is of a consistently high standard. Their recipes are always tasty. The staff are always helpful and attentive without being in your face. I'd always recommend actually going there rather than having take out. Full marks.

The food was super greasy. They brought us the wrong type of naan and Rice. The waitress was not polite at all.

Wasn't too sure to begin with, it looks dated. Had the evening buffet, only chicken...but it was superb, starters were a bit too dry but tasted good. Staff was friendly and on hand.

I used to eat here regularly years ago and thought it was great. Went last year and it was terrible. Chicken pakora was hard and felt like day before's refried. Chicken in main course tasted tainted. Really put me off Indian food. Won't be back in a hurry.

I've used this restaurant for 20 years, the food is fantastic. We live in Kirkcaldy now and still go to Glenrothes for a collection!
