Lovely breakfast wrap and friendly staff.

Great cafe, staff are very friendly. Food excellent, even if its busy, tables managed really well, don't have to wait long.

So many reserved seats and very disappointed to see dogs in cafe ( not service dogs) I had to leave due to allergies regarding dogs 😢

As I went to order I noticed the servers couldn't seem more miserable. I looked at the menu and found everything was labelled with cheese which is already a massive turn off as I suffer from a dairy allergy. I asked if I could have a toastie without cheese and made it clear I wanted zero cheese. They said that was fine so I was satisfied. I assumed since they didn't ask about allergies that the toastie I had wouldn't have any risks but when it arrived it was smothered in pesto which I had never had before but was interested to try. I had a couple of bites and immediately I could taste a strange texture so I looked it up and found pesto had parmesan in it. Luckily I didn't have any major reaction however this is just extremely poor and lazy service, the place wasn't busy and to not be checking about allergies especially when someone makes it clear they do not want a certain food is ridiculous. I won't be back and they are lucky I don't take this further.

People table block once they have finished their food and drink, you may be kept waiting for a seat while people chat over empty plates.

Good menu for lunch or just a coffee. Service was quick and friendly.

Arrived at 3:30 and asked what the soup of the day was to be informed kitchen closes at 3pm and café closes at 4pm, therefore only coffee and cakes available! Microwaving soup was obviously too much to ask!!!!

Very tasty 3link roll,other rolls had 2 slices of lorne sausage,which were cooked to perfection thank you.

Always loved it here but sadly really going downhill. Menu really pared back. Toasty was awful, they used to be great. Hardly toasted at all , basically warm bread. Virtually no cheese in it. I did ask for it to be toasted more, it was brought back exactly the same and I was told that was all the machine was capable of. On a positive the scones are still lovely.

1400 in the afternoon because of a very late night the night before travelling from foreign places I aas looking for a breakfast which they don't normally do. However my request was granted and a wonderful breakfast arrived and tasted wonderful !! Welldone to all concerned 😊😊😊😊😊

Great food with service to match

Lovely cafe, went there with my friend. Has a lovely scone with jam and cappuccino is delicious. Friendly staff and clean place.

Excellent food, friendly service. They also have a gluten free selection of desserts that are in their own separate case. Gluten free bread available for sandwiches etc. I had the salad with goat cheese and a bacon,lettuce,tomato sandwich...yum!

One of the meals had to go back because it was cold. Staff were great they replaced the meal. The replacement was partially uncooked. Staff again were great - we were given a refund. Fruit scones were a little overcooked. They could have got away with it if they called them Rock buns. A change of chef's may be what's needed to bring Cobbs up to scratch.

Brilliant asset to Dunfermline. Good food, fabulous staff and all in all top class. We meet to lunch or just coffee and blether. There is no pressure to finish and leave. Always feel welcome and have a relaxing time.

Found this place by accident within the Sterling store at Halbeath having been ignored in the nearby Dobbies cafe and its a wee gem with helpful young staff. Counter service with a nice selection and lovely setting. Great toastie and fries and lovely tasty minestrone. Ace scones (jncluding cheese) and excellent value for money.

We regularly visit Cobbs cafe and it never disappoints, it is always excellent. The quality and choice of food is really good and the service from the staff always friendly and efficient. All at a very competitive price. It's one of our favourite cafe's in Dunfermline and the surrounding area, it's also better than many cafe's in Edinburgh.

Lovely wee cafe to sit and ponder your next sale. Our coffees were good and the millionaire shortcake we got along side them tasted nice. Reasonable prices in line with similar establishments. The servers were polite, prompt and well presented. The toilets were clean and tidy ( these are on the same floor opposite the cafe).

Awesome ! My friend and I went and although not very hungry wanted something we.coukd share. The staff member was lovely and served up a main meal split between us both , and I'm sure she gave us extra. The food was amazing and great value . I would recommend this venue to everyone, so much to choose from and good vfm . Thank You All .x

Absolutely brilliant cafe. Excellent food and really friendly staff who go above and beyond each time.

Would recommend highly, the food is fantastic - especially the cheese & bacon omelette!! - freshly cooked to order & the staff are absolutely lovely too. Prices are very reasonable and you just can't beat the quality. An all round winner 😁 Our very favourite place to eat now 😋 Do try it, you certainly won't be disappointed!!
