Not the best no toast the chips were red and over cooked put it in the bin

pulled up outside our house on time then drove off, tried to deliver to wrong house, by the time it eventually turned up 30 minutes later it was cold and vile so in the bin it went, it wasn't even worth putting in the microwave. NOT scoffs fault, Just Eats fault !

went off the reviews , looked good sadly not good, kebab was really greasy, sausage didn't taste cooked properly ,gravy had jelly lumps in it , left a horrible taste and like a film in our mouth, roe was nice

we order from here or fetch it sometimes and its always great. family loves the fish and chips and you get what you pay for! always nicely done red chips too.

Had a mix meat in naan. Was beautiful! The chips are the best I’ve had. Had to come back and have them again

after ordering my food it didn't arrive till over 1 hour of ordering it then when it arrived I had missing items and wrong things also the food was greasy and wasn't very hot

First time ordering from here I was quite shocked when I opened the order at the red chips and thought I’m not gonna like these but I have to say they were the best chips I’ve had in a long time shall be ordering from here again

Food was greasy wasn’t happy my kebab was shredded and it wasn’t normal kebab pieces was pretty gutted the roe was soft and greasy terrible never ordering again

worth the wait the fish was i have never saw a fish that big and it was very nice really enjoyed it worth every penny shall order this again

Had a mixed meat kebab with famous scoffs never get soggy chips. I don't usually review but the quantity and quality of the food made me do it. Best I've ever eaten. So good

Fantastic food on time and steaming hot

First time ordering from this place,red chips are not my thing,lumpy thick curry sauce not my thing and black skin on my fish is also a no no,mushy peas were a nice bright green colour on the online menu but the ones I got were a pale green colour with no taste. The batter on the fish was impressive tho,nice and light and crunchy unlike some chippies who serve up wet soggy slop.

Delivery and collection orders always fresh quality food, delivery always arrives hot. Never disappointed, always great value for money, packed well for delivery and collection. 5*s highly recommend to anyone wanting great tasting chip shop

Place has recently changed ownership/management, so few things have changed, however, have been using this chippy for the last 3/4 years sense I moved here, and will definitely continue to use it as they have kept the standards and products, and went the extra mile to make sure the menu was not affected, and have delivered the costumer service and food quality you would expect from Scoffs .missus normally order pork or if they don't have it the burger meals for me and her , deffo recommend it, fried chicken quite nice also. Overall, there is about 6 different takeaways in that same street , wouldn't choose any other then Scoffs Edit: you need to choose your staff wisely, having to tell staff 4 times the inicial order at the counter because she walked away half way when I am telling her the order is a bit much, even for a happy chap like me. I miss the old staff. Awkward service to say the least.

Very small portions, extremely greasy and flavourless. Very expensive for what you get.

Ordered a tinned roe, which was cooked when entered but was £2.00 was 15mm thick, which cost which in consideration a large tin of tinned Roe costs £6.00, and could get at least 15 pieces of roe, work it out, that's 30 pound which I think is a bit expensive, nice as it was but maybe a nice thicker slice of Roe would be better value for money. But the potato wedge was bangin, for 60p

The driver yet again too busy on his phone. Ignorant and don’t pay attention. I’m sure they keep the pop from every order

Had a slight issue with my order and delivery no fault of the restaurant, rang and spoke to the staff and they sorted me out straight away and even threw in some free items as a good will gesture. Food was lovely thank you 😊

First time using this chip shop I was very pleased with my experience. Customer service here is excellent with a great atmosphere. There's a handful of tables to eat in and toilets.nits a small footprint place and my food was delivered to my table on a plate. The place is well kept and clean. The food is very well priced and tasty. I ordered mix kebab meat with chips and salad and ate in. All the food was fresh, and I could taste each element individually, the portion size was also satisfying. A relaxed and pleasant experience. I will definitely be visiting again. Glad to have found this gem in Bloxwich restoring my faith in good local eateries.

The chips use to be lovely from here but they are red and a funny taste to them didn’t enjoy at all and The kebab meat and chips was not worth £7.50 was in a small tray very disappointing, was piping hot and delivered on time

IMHO, I suggest you come and try Scoffs yourself and ignore some of the previous negative comments about the food and staff. I had a beautifully freshly battered fish and a box full of batter "scraps" which requires TIME to fry if you want it freshly done. The owner fried that fish to perfection!! Great service from all the staff.

Went to the shop to order food made me wait 15 minutes. The new owner is very rude and ill mannered. Started shouting at the customer in front of me. 0 stars.

The asian lad (assuming the owner) is very rude. Waited for 5 minutes to place an order. Once the order was ready, took another 5 minutes to just pack it. The asian lad has no manners. Was swearing. Would give it zero if possible. Would recommend npt order from here. BEWARE of the asian lad who works there as he snaps at customers and delievery drivers. He is also rude to the people who work with him.

What a rip off! £8.39 for mix meat and chips in a medium box. The majority of the meat was lamb and there was very little chicken and that was dry. Chips are rubbish too! Gone down hill since the new owners have taken over. Will not be ordering from there again! In total with a drink and delivery it’s cost me over £13! Joke!

New owners and the chips are really nice know and the owner has good banter and also likes to try different things like battered pigs in blanket which are nice .also everything is really clean .
