Waited a hour and a half for delivery last Friday. Worth the wait, food was great 👍

1st time ordered food take away fish and battered chips was 10 out 10. Really nice staff who made it in under 10 minutes

Just ordered and received menu was charged £29.40 order works out to £26.42 so why over charging that much?? Is it not free delivery on orders over £20??

cold greasey kebab . too long for delivery just horrid

terrible service, items missing, manager rude, because I called up and complained about it, the manager now refuses to deliver to us again, staff member was rude, driver takes several orders at a time hence why food is not hot

Ordered 2 medium fish 1 large bag of chips 1pot large gravy (which they got wrong) They sent curry sauce Food warm to Luke warm I wouldn't mind if we were 5 mikes away but 1/2 a mile away😡 And it only took a hour and 20 mins to deliver Won't be going here again

STEER CLEAR TO AVOID DISSAPOINTMENT!!!! I had heard scoffs had gone downhill recently and wish id listened,Just eat app very confusing i thought i ordered a chicken kebab in pitta but my mistake i got a small tray of chickenmeat for £7.50 are you serious and your garlic cheese pizza had hardley any cheese on it so last time i order from them! Poor poor value for money! Maybe they are now affiliated to weightwatchers with small portion but at twice the price! TRY KENTS UPPER GORNAL! a tray of chickenmeat is £6 not £7.50 and a large tray not a small like scoffs and twice as many chips for £2.50 than scoffs £3.75! Scoffs have downsized portions to cover just eat delivery im guessing and the chips arent very nice so dont waste your money there

Bought a chicken kebab absolutely disgusting pitta bread stale and fell apart, chicken cold dry and not fresh couldn't even eat it. Worst kebab I have ever had don't know what's happened to this place food used to be great

Delivery time from here is shocking!!! it’s a shame really because the food is good. You need to order 2 hours before you want the food. Give 40minutes time then just keeps changing the time!

Food cold, requested items and didn’t receive. Last order great, this order 👎 chips only received half to what I received on my last order.

Missing half the order, food that did arrive wasnt fresh . Delivery driver got lost and also decided to store cold drink and hot food in the same bag so everything arrived warm. Good enough

Chicken tikka burger was shocking , bap was rock hard and the chicken didn’t look like chicken tikka it looked like it had been scrapped off the bottom of something, saveloy was well over cooked. I’m shocked really because the food I’ve had before has been nice. It’s put me right off from ordering again from there

Lovely food but really need to work on your delivery times but it was worth the wait, chicken is lovely, will definetly use you guys again.

The original eta on the food was 40-55 mins.This then changed to 1hr-1hr 15.This then changed again to 1hr 10- 1hr 30. I rang the store who told me it was out for delivery. 15mins later it still had not arrived. Finally arrived 1hr 50 after ordering

I rang twice and the guy I spoke to was unhelpful and rude. Won’t be ordering from here again. I arranged for my food to arrive at 8:10 and it didn’t come until 8:45. First time ordering from here and it will also be my last. Very disappointed

Every time you order and pay for a naan bread with donner meat they send you a pitta very dissatisfied

Portions were not great in the pulled meat specials more chips and stuffing than meat and gravy so was disappointed. Also ordered a large and medium chips and both came exactly the same and more like a small than medium let alone large. Disappointed

yesterday i ordered from this place for the first time. i ordered pulled port with battered chips both of them are really nice. i tried pulled meats in many places. but this is the best one i had. and their delivery also very quick. and the delivery staff also so kind and polite. i reall loved their service.

Food tastes amazing. Not too greasy for a chip shop. The pizza was full of toppings and the portions are generous. You just need to order about 2 hours before you're hungry as the preparation time and delivery took around 2 hours, this was on a Tuesday afternoon.

Always late food never the right order fed up of it now

First time having this chippy and wow just wow had the pulled pork and chips for dinner and again for tea can’t get enough well worth the try guys 5*

Sadly not as good as I usually have from them, both the fish and chips were chewy, like they had been made hours before and had dried out under the lights. Still edible but not as nice as I've come to expect.

Favourite chippy when we come down from cleethorpes to see family.

Doesn't even deserve a 1 star!! Ordered just before 8pm after 2 phone calls order turns up at 9.25 & they close at 9 so the delivery driver was obviously on his way home & dropped our food on the way!! Food was absolutely disgusting so it's gone straight in the bin, cold, soggy mess! No salad on both items just half a bottle of mint sauce to try & make the cold mess taste better! First & last time ordering from here! Never again

Ordered around 6.20 pm - delivery was initially 7.05-7.25 pm and then delayed to 7.20-7.40 pm. So an hour and 20 mins to deliver pie and chips from less than a mile away

Ordered food at 6:30 and still waiting to be delivered it’s now 8:00 called restaurant twice got told driver was on way and stuck in traffic at 7:35 rang again at 7:55 and then told it will be another 20-25 mins delivery times are shocking

Chips were a bit cold and hard :(

What’s happened? They used to be the best around. We’ve visited three times in the last few months and it’s always awful. We kept thinking it was just a one off but after three attempts we won’t be trying again. The chips are horrible compared to what they used to be like. The fish always has undercooked batter. It looks okay but it’s soggy inside… like a paste. Most of what we’ve had lately was inedible and went in the bin. Save your money!

Food is great but an hour or so to get delivery of basic fish & chips etc is not good.

Paid 11 quid for food that's gone straight in the bin. The donner kebab was dripping in grease, the roe on the roe and chips was slimy. First time I've ever had bad food from here. I won't be using again. Think it has now owners, not sure

Kebab burger bun was rock hard, kebab was crusty sf chicken was burnt? Ordered a big mushy peas was put in a big tub but only half full chips cold and scabby ordered at 6.52 arrived at 847

What has happened to Scoffs ??? Just paid £11+ for 1 portion of chips, a mini fish and kebab meat. Couldn't eat it ! Chips inedible - hard and dry, fish very greasy, kebab meat so-so. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING !

Shocking…. I ordered over an hour ago and it’s still not here and my mother in law is diabetic……..

Batter on products was tough and chewy and obviously cooked some time well before order was placed. Assumed I would get chicken tikka when ordering a kebab however this stuff was more like plain chicken with lots of burnt bits, was over-seasoned with salt and hints of bbq flavour or 5 spice which wasn't stated on menu. Would definitely not recommend

PUT ON NOTE NO TOMATOES ON BURGERS AND IT WAS PACKED WITH A LOAD ON BOTH BURGERS COULD NOT EAT IT WITH THE TOMATOES AS I COME OUT IN RASH IF DO AND THE CHIPS WAS LIKE IWAS EATING BRICKS SORRY BUT WAS NOT A GOOD MEAL TODAY

First time trying you guys and we’ve both really enjoyed them they were lovely and hot Thanks to all-the fish was beautiful land smelled really nice when first opened them.love how the meals come in a box and not a bag.saves the paper from sticking to everything. Thanks again highly recommend and the delivery driver was lovely too.

Have to say I always order from here for my fish n chips etc , but not sure what went wrong with today’s order, it’s the worst I ever had , chips we rock hard like you get at the end of the night, the meat had no flavour, hardly any sauce on items the only thing that was normal was the delivery

Food took ages to be delivered once out for delivery despite being up the road , Coke Zero can sent instead of Coke lemon that was ordered & Coke Zero was from a multipack (which I’m sure it’s against the law to sell separately) . Chips were cold & dried out , hardly any pork on the pork sandwich & fish overcooked . Usually good but todays order was awful

called restaurant when it was 20-30 mins late at 1842, they said the driver had been knocking my door for ages with no answer absolute rubbish, 1 ive been watching out window and 2 my dog barks everytime she hears the tiniest bit of noise. so at 1842 they tell me this but say they will recook my food and send it out, food arrived 10 mins later stone cold

Made an order tonight threw just eat I ordered a battered sausage they sent a rock hard savloy I ordered sauce on kebab no sauce the chips where rock hard like it was yesterdays food even the cans of pop where red hot 🥵 absolutely disgusting food will never order again I never complain on just eat as I have just eat myself so hate it when you get bad reviews but this deserves to be posted absolutely disgusting

Absolutely disgusted with our order this evening we ordered battered sausage they sent a rock hard savloy that was shrivelled up, we ordered sauce on the kebab there wasn’t any the chips where rock hard like they where yesterdays chips even the cans of pop was so warm definitely not out the fridge called them and they couldn’t care less as it was on just eat absolutely disgusting avoid at all costs

Ok so my son came in this afternoon/evening, ordered 2 x mini fish chips mushy peas special and 1 x battered sausage and chips Got home had, 2 x mini fish chips special without the mushy peas and 1 x battered sausage and chips and yes guess wat ???? Mushy peas So not even 1 order correct Very disappointed as been coming here for years. Probably pass from now on.

meat was just end bits, very chewy, a teaspoon of sauce on a burger, the bun was too hard to eat.
