BE CAREFUL OF POSITIVE REVIEWS. The chippy has a sign by the till bribing people to leave positive reviews in exchange for chocolate. (April 2025) It's same as any other mediocre chippy, the man who serves people is grumpy and unhygienic, I prefer it when the women serve me, the chips otherwise taste nice, price is about average.

Really friendly staff especially Ellie! She recommended the best meal for us and served us very quickly.

Ordered 3 medium meals for £20 (roundabouts). Been going to Scoffs for years and the quality is getting worse, and the food more expensive. Chips were burnt and fish was soggy. I am not going to keep giving them a chance, there are other better and cheaper chippies nearby.

Ordered 2 fish and chip specials to be delivered via just eat. The food was lovely, everything was hot and delivered ahead of proposed time. The battered chips were perfect. No complaints at all. Would definitely recommend.

I ordered pulled chicken and chips no stuffing. They got the order wrong , stuffing was grey stale chips and a tiny portion of chicken. I ordered on Friday big mistake. Previous owners there standards was high They had fresh chicken all the time. What is wrong with these owners.

Just spent £31.00 absolutely awful chips burnt,veggie burger unscribable,also had chicken chips stuffing and gravy in a tray £6.45 more like gravy and chips .Tasty fryer round corner miles better. Sorry scoffs your prices are dearer than everywhere else and way way worse.

terrible service, items missing, manager rude, because I called up and complained about it, the manager now refuses to deliver to us again, staff member was rude, driver takes several orders at a time hence why food is not hot

Ordered 2 medium fish 1 large bag of chips 1pot large gravy (which they got wrong) They sent curry sauce Food warm to Luke warm I wouldn't mind if we were 5 mikes away but 1/2 a mile away😡 And it only took a hour and 20 mins to deliver Won't be going here again

STEER CLEAR TO AVOID DISSAPOINTMENT!!!! I had heard scoffs had gone downhill recently and wish id listened,Just eat app very confusing i thought i ordered a chicken kebab in pitta but my mistake i got a small tray of chickenmeat for £7.50 are you serious and your garlic cheese pizza had hardley any cheese on it so last time i order from them! Poor poor value for money! Maybe they are now affiliated to weightwatchers with small portion but at twice the price! TRY KENTS UPPER GORNAL! a tray of chickenmeat is £6 not £7.50 and a large tray not a small like scoffs and twice as many chips for £2.50 than scoffs £3.75! Scoffs have downsized portions to cover just eat delivery im guessing and the chips arent very nice so dont waste your money there

Bought a chicken kebab absolutely disgusting pitta bread stale and fell apart, chicken cold dry and not fresh couldn't even eat it. Worst kebab I have ever had don't know what's happened to this place food used to be great

Delivery time from here is shocking!!! it’s a shame really because the food is good. You need to order 2 hours before you want the food. Give 40minutes time then just keeps changing the time!

Missing half the order, food that did arrive wasnt fresh . Delivery driver got lost and also decided to store cold drink and hot food in the same bag so everything arrived warm. Good enough

Chicken tikka burger was shocking , bap was rock hard and the chicken didn’t look like chicken tikka it looked like it had been scrapped off the bottom of something, saveloy was well over cooked. I’m shocked really because the food I’ve had before has been nice. It’s put me right off from ordering again from there

The original eta on the food was 40-55 mins.This then changed to 1hr-1hr 15.This then changed again to 1hr 10- 1hr 30. I rang the store who told me it was out for delivery. 15mins later it still had not arrived. Finally arrived 1hr 50 after ordering

Every time you order and pay for a naan bread with donner meat they send you a pitta very dissatisfied

Portions were not great in the pulled meat specials more chips and stuffing than meat and gravy so was disappointed. Also ordered a large and medium chips and both came exactly the same and more like a small than medium let alone large. Disappointed

yesterday i ordered from this place for the first time. i ordered pulled port with battered chips both of them are really nice. i tried pulled meats in many places. but this is the best one i had. and their delivery also very quick. and the delivery staff also so kind and polite. i reall loved their service.

delivery was nearly an hour late as was the last time I ordered. food was OK fish didn't taste like cod. last time ordering from here

Food tastes amazing. Not too greasy for a chip shop. The pizza was full of toppings and the portions are generous. You just need to order about 2 hours before you're hungry as the preparation time and delivery took around 2 hours, this was on a Tuesday afternoon.

Good value for money, very tasty

Sadly not as good as I usually have from them, both the fish and chips were chewy, like they had been made hours before and had dried out under the lights. Still edible but not as nice as I've come to expect.

First time having this chippy and wow just wow had the pulled pork and chips for dinner and again for tea can’t get enough well worth the try guys 5*

Doesn't even deserve a 1 star!! Ordered just before 8pm after 2 phone calls order turns up at 9.25 & they close at 9 so the delivery driver was obviously on his way home & dropped our food on the way!! Food was absolutely disgusting so it's gone straight in the bin, cold, soggy mess! No salad on both items just half a bottle of mint sauce to try & make the cold mess taste better! First & last time ordering from here! Never again

Ordered my food at half 5, it's now 7 and still haven't had my food. Never ordering from Scoffs again.

Ordered around 6.20 pm - delivery was initially 7.05-7.25 pm and then delayed to 7.20-7.40 pm. So an hour and 20 mins to deliver pie and chips from less than a mile away
