Our go to takeaway, the only one we will use. Always tastes good and staff always helpful.

Been going here for a few years now but have never left a review until now, I got to say I’m lucky to have this place on my doorstep,I have tried other place locally and afar, but find this place the best,the food is great, never had a bad meal, very tasty , staff always welcoming, if you have not tried this place I would highly recommend it

Ordered a takeaway for delivery which was late. I called after half an hour and was asked to wait another 15 minutes. 15 minutes later, I was asked to wait another 15 minutes and was told by Islam that I would be offered a refund if my order wasn’t delivered. 20 minutes later, we called to cancel the order and were told they were just sending their driver and offered me a discount to use the next day - not the refund I was promised. Other people were calling whilst I was on the phone and I could hear the manager asking people to do the same as what they had been telling me and to wait. When the delivery driver arrived, they were very apologetic, explained that there had been a change in management and they were short staffed in the kitchen and he was only 1 of 2 delivery drivers on a Saturday evening. When the food arrived, they had labelled the items incorrectly and we noticed the chicken was now thinly sliced compared to chunks as it has been, before so the quality of food has dropped. Very disappointing and the last time we will be ordering from them.

Always a quality curry been using blue ginger for years and the quality is always amazing even on busy nights.

Been several times and this is normally a good takeaway - recently had several bad meals and the last meal a few days ago was awful, with the increased prices you’d expect the same if not better service. The front of house looks at you with disgust, or has done with me. Unfortunately won’t ever order from here again, as it’s clear all staff speak very good English but when a complaint comes in it feels like your a burden instead of listening to you. They have since given me a refund of my order which I had to go back in to get. And even though I told them about the food order, they couldn’t bring themselves to to apologise. No words were passed of regret, just a reluctant handover ov money for very poor food and service

We absolutely love this place. The food is delicious. Always good portions and good value. The only criticism I would have is the chips can sometimes be not so good

Had a meal from here about 7 months ago really enjoyed it a lovely tastey dish ordered the same,bland pap .I know prices have risen but don’t cut back on quality put your prices up

Have you ever seen the scene in home alone 2 where the hotel guy wants a tip from kevin.... well this is exactly what just experienced, my food was £18.85 and i payed with a £20 note, the driver literally stood and asking me if i want my change 😯, begging for a tip, he then went on to say he doesn't know if he has change in the car, came back with more than i needed and asked if i had change to round up to the £2 he had in his hand hoping i would be like ( oh forget it mate ) The cheek of this guy i was gobsmacked, the food on the other hand was ok at best, disappointing as normally it is great food

We celebrated a birthday tonight with a big family takeaway from blue ginger... they excelled themselves with a fab meal for all the family!! The food was fresh and very tasty, as always, and right on time! Thanks blue ginger!!

Our on line order was immediately available at the agreed collection time. The standard of the cooking and the quality of the meal was excellent.

Really good food here, always ready when they say with a nice selection of dishes. Takeaway portion sizes are very big, so you can usually get a few dishes and share between you all for some variety. The flavours in the food are just so good, Sag Bhaji is out of this world. I’ve never had a bland dish from this place. Highly recommended.

Thankyou for the fantastic food as usual. The person I spoke to to pay over the phone was very helpful when I had forgot on the website. This is becoming my favourite place. The delivery driver was also super friendly and polite. Great food and service 10/10. Thanks

They want to learn there staff some phone manners just rang and he was so rude and sarcastic, always loved the food from there but you've just lost a customer thanks to the guy on the phone 😡

I ordered 3-curries at 6.13 on Saturday to feed myself and 2 friends visiting me. The curries arrived at 8.41. By then my friends had left and I felt it a bit late to start making Chapatis and then eating curry so there are now 3-curries in my freezer. Several attempts to call The Blue Dragon were made but phone was permanently engaged. The curries did look nice and there were adequate quantities but obviously the taste test has still to be made.

Am currently waiting for a delivery which was ordered online at 6pm. The delivery time was estimated at 7pm. It is now 8.21pm. They won’t answer their phones. They either cut you off repeatedly or a dial assist voice comes on saying the number won’t be answered. Disgusting service. If you can’t fulfil your orders NO NOT TAKE PEOPLES MONEY. Will never use again.

During lockdown and post lockdown l have now had around five takeaways from this establishment. Everyone of them has been amazing. In August l ordered from here when three of my friends popped round to mine for a catch up in the garden. They all loved the food.I have tried the Vegetable Dupiaza, Vegetable Jalfrazi and Vegetable Vindaloo. All of which have been amazing!Poppadoms and dips are fab. My friend highly recommends the Onion Bhaji's. Naan Breads are out of this world. For the first time this week l actually collected my order and l could see straight into a very clean professional kitchen!Can't wait to have another curry from here really soon!Highly recommended

We have been using the Blue Ginger for a number of years (since it opened) and have never had a bad meal from there. They have a varied menu and the food is restaurant quality. It is always hot, well prepared and tasty.

Had numerous delivery’s and the standard is always good this time I ordered chicken tikka dansak ,Bombay aloo and keema rice other half had chicken tikka masala Usually arrives 45 mins Tasty the guys give a quality product good service and good portions Keep it up

The chicken in the two curries was very nice if a little sparse. However the dishes and the garlic and coriander Naan were utterly tasteless. The sauce seemed very watery as well and even the mint yoghurt dip was devoid of taste!

Order came with free poppadoms and salad which was placed in the bag in a way that kept it cold,along with raita and onion side,also free. Onion bhajis had the taste of a top notch restaurant but they did contain too much gram flour for my liking,a bit more sliced onion req'd. Vindaloo served in a very rich onion based gravy which I like better than a tomato base.We asked for extra garlic which we certainly got. It wasn't the hottest vindaloo I've had by any stretch but it was warmer than anywhere else in the district. No potato in it which was disappointing but I've found that regularly in that neck of the woods. Keema naan was a good quality and reasonably priced. I'll certainly consider using here again when in the area. Very good for a take-away.

Only just started using these guys. Second order and food can piping hot and very quickly. Unfortunately my wife’s curry was incorrect which appears to be a fault of just eat. These guys replaced it within 15 minutes you don’t get service like this any where and food quality is excellent. We recommend these to anyone. Keep up the good work.

We had a take away for 5 adults. Was delicious. Only issue was that the chicken tikka main was tandoori chicken but still very tasty. Would reccomend

My wife and i tried the blue ginger for the first time yesterday and we were pleasently surprised by the quality of the food and the generous sized portions.The food was delivered piping hot wiithin 30 minutes of ordering,we will definately be ordering more food in the very near future. Keep up the good work

had chicken biryani plus peshwari nanbread,the biryani was tastless and the sauce too plus the nan bread was burnt , phoned to complain if we had been nearer would have taken back,will not bother again.

Ordered food online to be collected which was fine. On arriving back home which was only 3 minutes away found that it was not what i had ordered i could not be bothered to go back so tried phoning them to explain that my order was completely different to what i had ordered but constantly engaged. Decided to try what we had been given but food barely warm so most of it went in bin. I did leave a message on the website explaining all the facts but no one bothered to reply. Will not use again owing to bad customer service.

I have been here a number of times and I'm very impressed with this Indian takeaway. Staff are very friendly. A good price and very good quality food. Curry contained big chunks of chicken which appear to be very good quality. We ordered the more spicy dishes of vindaloo and Madras and despite being hot both had flavour. Every time I return to Kingswinford I have a takeaway from here. Only drawback is it is that good could have done with bigger premises so it could be a proper restaurant to eat in.

Ordered via Just Eat, quick delivery and well packaged. Free delivery and free poppadoms/salad/dip. We had 3 curry's, chips and garlic nann. Wasn't very impressed with the chicken tikka masala, the chicken chunks were half the size to that in the other curry and not much of it. There was lots of sauce but very runny although it did taste nice. The chips weren't the best, soggy. A bit disappointing!

Well what can I say other than PERFECT in every way, outstanding service very quick, and the food is unbelievable so fresh cooked, stayed hot on journey home and tasted fab would recommend family and friends to try it I'll be defo going back again and again

Tried this as recommended by many , nice touch with the free beer and free popadoms for collection . However pilau rice ordered was dried boiled rice and Peshawari naan was burnt on the back and so dry was inedible . Mixed balti was average lack of meat more sauce and tomatoes than necessary .

Best Indian takeaway around here and wordsley area! Food is so good and place is clean and you can see what is being cooked. Has an extensive menu with lots of things to try that always sound nice.i shall be working my way through them haha!the only downside is parking however there is tesco opposite. They also put sweets in with the order for after.nice touch..

Third visit to this take away and continue to be impressed. Ordering on line, very simple. Collected food tonight. Staff were courteous/professional. Kitchen looks clean and busy. Food was very tasty. Chicken was very tender and flavoursome. A few nice touches like the free bottle of cobra and small bag of sweeties. Price compares well to other local establishments. I would recommend Blue Ginger very strongly and will definitely choose them again when we want a family Indian take away. Keep up the good work guys.

Had to write a review because it's just so delicious. I travel 5 miles to pick up our curry because I live out of their catchment area for deliveries, but I don't care. It's such a lovely meal with succulent chicken or lamb, that it's worth driving past another 30 on the way. And the meal is still hot when I get home. This was an amazing find. I cannot rate the meals enough, from their starters to their mains. It is an average priced meal and very tasty. It's easy to order online for collection or delivery. Can even pay by PayPal. Seriously can't rate this Take Away enough.

Beautiful tasting food , arrived hot and exact time as given . As a family we enjoy asian food and are particularly fussy .. so this restaurant i rate as excellent and would recommend

I visited this takeaway restaurant for the first time 3 weeks ago and was blown away by the high standard/quality of the food and service and have been every week since.

This review is not based upon just one experience. We have ordered a different choice every week for 7 weeks and the food is excellent, nicely spiced and full of flavour. Presentation was excellent and was hot and delivered within 30 minutes by a delightful lady. The Mixed Vegetable Dhansak is both tasty and plentiful.The one noticeable difference compared with other local takeaways we have tried is that there is very little oil in the food. Best takeaway by far.....if they opened a restaurant in Kingswinford we would be there every week. Well done.

One of the best Indians we've ever had! Great friendly quick service! We walked in and ordered ours on the spot to collect, it didn't take them long, was piping hot and absolutely delicious! Used to love the Wombourne Tandori so ordered take aways from here on several occasions as its run by the same group. The food has always been nice with quality meat but delivery is very poor, one occasion was 3.5hours after being told 1 hour. On a couple of times the food was barely warm. Probably best to collect or order very early for a later delivery as its a shame to miss the food.

Have had a takeaway on a few occasions and food is always good apart from the poppadoms which have been 'stale' and soft on two occasions. They are always happy to cook a dish to your preference and the delivery generally is pretty quick, about 45 mins.

We had a takeaway from "Blue Ginger" a couple of weeks ago, the food came on time and was nice and hot, everything we ordered arrived correctly and the food was very good, would use again..

if we want a take away we often use Blue Ginger. the portions are large and well priced. we have it delivered and have always enjoyed our meals.

The best takeaway we have ever had. The background to this place speaks for itself, Wombourne Tandoori is associated with it. We have had many takeaways over the years but this is the best, we will definitely be recommending Blue Ginger.

Ordered a take away starters and mains delicious and packaged in a blue ginger bag complete with wet wipes and a little bag of jelly sweets !

We don't order take out very often, so when we do, we usually really really enjoy it.. Unfortunately not so on our occasion. We ordered two dishes & sides from Blue Ginger for home delivery. Our two dishes were extremely bland, to the point of saying they had no spices or flavour at all, and were of poor quality. Our garlic & coriander Nan tasted of absolutely nothing. My blue ginger special bhuna infact just resembled a pureed vegetable stew with a few lumps of tough chicken & lamb, with a couple tiny dried up shrimps thrown in. As I don't like to give a poor review for any establishment without speaking to them, and allowing them the opportunity to offer an apology or explanation. On this occasion messaging them directly via their Facebook page, but to which I am still awaiting a response. It therefore seems they can't even be bothered to respond, so clearly don't care about their customers experience.

Decided to give Blue Ginger a try for the first time. The food came in 30 minutes,as the man who took my order said. The food was lovely and hot and tasted delicious, plus there were bags of sweets in for afters. The delivery man even returned to bring us completely poppadoms. Will definitely use them again, very nice.

since Blue ginger opened we have used this takeaway every week! the food has been consistently lovely, always fresh, hot and never lacking in flavour. quality ingredients always, having dined at wombourne tandoori restaurant regular I can honestly say there is no difference in the taste and quality. vegetarian dishes too are lovely! it does get extremely busy at weekends and i have been to collect our order and the phone just doesn't stop ringing and the waiting area packed but i think that speaks volumes in itself and i don't mind waiting a tad longer for great food!! staff are always friendly too

We use this Indian on a regular basis, we have tried every Indian local and this is the best one by far!!! Beautiful curry and rice, and the chips are to die for, we would never ever try anywhere else. Very busy business, but worth the wait!!! The people are very polite and well mannered, very clean inside.

We had our first takeaway from here ordering online as the phone was constantly engaged. Delivery time quoted on the website was 45-55 mins however after 1hr 15 I had to call as no curry... I was told the food was ready they were just waiting for a driver! The food eventually came after 1hr 35 and we had to microwave most of it to bring it back up to temperature. However, the food itself was probably the best takeaway we have ever eaten so it was worth the wait but will definitely order well before we want to eat next time we have one.

Absolutely terrible service had to wait over 2 hours for an order after we were told it would be only 1 and 15 minutes terrible service would not recommend or use again !!!

We ordered a Take Away and was told 40-45 Mins and we waited...after a Hour we rang them and was told it would be another 15 Mins and to avail nothing arrived. We rang again and was told 10 Mins and it arrived actually arrived 1 Hr 35 mIns after the Original Order Quote.....We will not be using these again

DO NOT give this company your business! Ordered a take away tonight for the first time from the Blue Ginger. Estimated time for delivery on the website was 50 mins. After one hour, still no delivery. Left it a little while longer then called. I was told the driver had left and our delivery would be here within 5 minutes. Another half an hour later, tried calling again. This time the line was busy. Tried calling for a further 20 mins and the line was permanently engaged. It has now been two hours since I placed the order and I am now rustling up something from my freezer. Absolutely shocking customer service to be blatantly lied to on the phone and then still no order sent! If only I could give it NO star rating!!

Just received our first delivery from Blue Ginger and loved it. All the dishes received were very aromatic and definitely a massive step up from the local offerings in Kingswinford. We have tried many in Kingswinford but this is the first we would recommend and look forward to trying again very soon. Thank you to all the team at Blue Ginger.
