Food was good but all 6 poppadoms were burnt in the centre and inedible. Also, one container was slightly crushed in the bag and was leaking. Rest of food tasted good though.

Really delicious food- fresh, hot and very tasty. Have never ordered from this restaurant before now but I will certainly order from here again. Even delivery driver was very friendly.

Booked a table for 10 ppl and when we arrived, it had a smell of sewage. The owners said they couldn't smell anything but there was no way that we could eat in there due to the smell. They sprayed fabreze to take away the smell but it didn't change anything.

The food came hot and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend and will be returning.

Have had several takeaways from here. Usually have the same meal as always been good. The Chicken Dhansak this time was almost too salty to eat and very dry. My wife's Rogan Josh was also far too salty. Not sure we will have another meal from here.

Been here a couple of times. The staff are excellent, they can’t help you enough. First time we went it wasn’t too busy and the food we had was excellent, second time, they were very busy and the food was not quite as nice as the first time but still good. It’s a BYO which means it doesn’t break the bank. Will be going back soon.

I came to Zingaz with a couple of long time friends. The staff were very friendly and the food was lovely. Quick service on top of that made going to Zingaz a very enjoyable experience.

Had a birthday celebration here, a group of 16, couldn't fault the service or the food. All meals were served together and were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. Great choice of food, very reasonable priced, will definitely be back again.

I’ve been coming here for the past year and half , and I cannot exaggerate how delicious the food is . The staff here are excellent and very friendly. Service is 10/10 and will be coming back regularly!!

Went with friends , 6 in total . The food was very good . Near excellent to be honest ,, and the staff were very accommodating. I would highly recommend you visit . Only down side . Is the look from outside is a little disappointing , but don’t let that put you off visiting . Also great you can take your own wine etc ! Will be going back again

We have been using this restaurant since December 2022 and have introduced numerous friends and family but NO MORE. I went with my father in law on Friday had the usual chicken tikka balti and it was absolutely appalling, disgusting the balti was burnt black on the bottom of the bowl, see attached photographs. It was the first time I had taken my father in law and had been raving about how good it was. The naan bread my father in law had was black. I spoke to Neme who knows us very well as we are regulars and he was not bothered, he did replace the naan bread and advised that the dishes are always black, what a complete load of rubbish we have the same meals every time we go and never have we ever had a bowl that is so black on the bottom you cannot get the balti out without black all on your spoon!!!! Also my father in law had exactly the same and his bowl was not black, what has upset me the most is the complete lack of interest by the owners, all the business we have given them and they were not interested at all. I paid the bill in full as I did not want to cause a scene in from of my F.I.L but went back on Saturday to discuss the issue, Neme would not even come out of the kitchen, the old man was just laughing, I do not find this funny at all and when Neme finally managed to come out to speak to me was not in the least bit interested. ABSOLUTELY APPALLING SERVICE NEVER WILL WE RETURN TO THIS SO CALLED RESTAURANT !!!!!!!! Also to note the stairs are a death trap, filthy carpet and very steep with the handrail about to come off in your hand. Disgusting toilets.

My garlic chilli chicken was very dry no sauce. The keema rice was also dry. Service slow. If it had been better it would have been value for money

Have had food here a few times. I’ve been very pleased with the service and food on all occasions. Very friendly staff. No complaints!

I have been here many times before but this was the first time for a couple of years. I couldn’t complain about the meal, it was very good and so was the service. However, we were the only people in there, there was no atmosphere and the place had a very shabby look about it. It looks as though Zingaz has fallen on hard times, there’s no licence which was a surprise, Last time there was. Will I go back? Unlikely.

First time of ordering tonight and was spot on! Absolutely amazing no faults. We are new to the area and have a tried a few but this one is the best by far. My partner who is a fussy eater had the chicken biryiani and he said it was amazing. I'm also fussy with meat but the chicken tikka masala was amazing. Would highly recommend this Indian

Absolutely Amazing the best I’ve had in a long time our new Indian for sure. Had sheek kebab starters the spicy sheek kebabs are amazing. Shashlik chicken was beautiful and chicken tikka jalfrezi with garlic fried rice and garlic naan absolutely amazing, our first time at Zingars but most definitely not the last, can’t wait to come back and bring the family. The food was lovely, it was quiet in there but the weather was terrible!! The staff were really friendly. My husband ordered a pizza nan to go which was amazing!!

So I ordered from here. Food was good. They normally throw a few popsdoms in the bag. So the one time they didn’t and the mrs wanted them and there wasn’t none so was made to sleep on the sofa because it was my fault. It’s now 6am and I’m frozen

Just fabulous. Service couldn't be better. Food delicious with different spices in each. It was our eat out curry for years as usually cook our own after many truely dreadful meals in York where we live. Our faith has been restored. Even the pub - Cottage Inn - next door was lovely letting me take out a glass of Guinness. If we lived near we would be back. Fab.

Great, reasonably priced food with lots of veggie options too. Not licenced so had to take own drinks but no real issue with that. Good, friendly service. Have had a few take outs from here but first time eating in and wasn't disappointed.

I went here with a group of friends. It was brilliant. The staff were amazing, they were friendly! They set a great vibe. The food was great. I have an obsession with mushrooms and they added extra mushrooms to my curry with no hesitation. I would 💯go again! Highly recommended!!

Great place for a curry. The staff are friendly and accommodating. The food is top notch and the prices are reasonable. They have a few drinks options available but also you can bring your own so that helps to keep the cost down and means you can have exactly what you want. They can accommodate small groups and couples right up to large parties but best to book in advance. They offer a takeaway service too.

Booked at the last minute via email. We were not disappointed. Very friendly staff and the food was amazing and plenty of it. Only thing we did not know was that thy do not have a licence for alcohol, but are happy for people to take their own. Sadly it did not say this on the website, but it did not detract from the lovely meal. Will definitely return when in the area again.

Ordered a takeaway from here for the first time tonight, I chose tandoori salmon and pictured chunks of marinated salmon with fried onions and salad. Instead I got 2 small salmon fillets with the skin still on, with a slice of lemon on top. They did appear to be tandoori but there wasn't much taste at all. There was a tiny bag of soggy lettuce and watery mint sauce to accompany it. At £9 for just the salmon I was really disappointed with the quality of this meal. My husband had the chicken tikka malaya but his chicken was plain. The sauce was very tasty but not very warm. Both our meals had to go in the microwave. I don't think we will be ordering again unfortunately.

Our overall experience was good today. The prices were very reasonable for the food we had today. The quality was generally good although some of the meats such as the shish kebab was a little chewy. Portion sizing was fine. In terms of spice, there was not much to it so if you want it spicy ask for it to be extra hot. The inside of the restaurant was clean and tidy. Service time was about average with around 20 minutes wait between courses. Something to note is that the toilets are up very steep stairs and also low ceilings. They are clean and functional but something to consider for anyone with accessibility issues. The location let's you bring your own alcohol as they are not licensed and soft drinks are the usual price (pint of Diet Coke is £2.95). They do not offer much of a dessert option other than coffees. The interior is nicely designed and it is not too large inside with around 12 tables inside. Staff were friendly and attentive in their manner. We enjoyed the experience and we would visit again. It did not exceed our expectations as such and is pretty much a typical local curry house. Note that there is nowhere to park around here so you will need to use a local street.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The service and food was to an exceptional quality. I would recommend everyone to try out Zingas, well worth the visit.

Been going to Zingaz for many years, never disappoints. Still just as good even though a recent change of management. Highly recommended good food good overall experience.

Just arrived home following a fabulous meal at Zingas on arrival we didn’t realise it wasn’t licensed not a problem a lovely member of staff drove my husband & son to the local shop to get drinks. Our food arrived promptly & tasted beautiful. On leaving the same lovely gentleman gave us a lift home!! What more can we say but excellent service & fabulous tasting food we will definitely be returning. Thank you Zingas for a fabulous evening xx

I have been having takeaways from here during the lockdown.Now they are able to seat customers again.Visited on Saturday and the quality was as good as before.Deserves support

We visited as a couple during the eat out to help out scheme. The food was amazing as always and now they have no licence and a bring your own drink this helps save money on the bill. The service is always great and you are made to feel very welcome we will be back very soon.

Our second year at Zingaz for Christmas Day Lunch. Great food, not rushed or packed out and staff even asked us to let them know inbetween courses when we were ready to be served, very pleasant and attentive staff. Spot on service and although we were considerng trying somewhere new next year have now decided to return to Zingaz. Only thing would change is a little better background music. Lol

The best curry house we have ever been to. The food is amazing the staff really helpful. We were a group of six, one of whom is a chef in Cardiff, he ordered a really unusual meal which they totally catered for and he loved it, just like the rest of us. We live in Wales so don't have the opportunity to visit regularly. I wish they would open a restaurant in our neck of the woods.

We went as a family to zinger inAugust, the food was very good and service mums had improved. A good evening was had by all.

This week in our local newspaper Zingaz was named and shamed for having a score of 1 by Dudley’s Scores on Doors! Your front of house has been refurbished and tables are always clean so it must be time now to improve ‘behind the scenes’.

Went here for the first time at Christmas, fantastic food and very friendly. 8 of us all enjoyed the food so we are booking to go back in a couple of weeks.

Friendly staff,1even did a little dance outside lol no he slip a little, was very funny, he was lovely beautiful delicious food, nice and hot when served. Very clean, my brothers 50th and what a lovely atmospherd place to celebrate it. Great place. Thank you for your friendly service

Have been to Zingaz many times over the years but lately it is better than ever! The food is excellent and cooked to a high standard and very well presented, the staff are lovely and friendly and the decor is fab, it looks as though it has been done since my last visit. Would highly recommend a visit here and you can park on the council car park opposite on evenings and weekends too.

Nice little Indian restaurant with good food and friendly staff, even though it's licensed you can bring your own drinks. Definitely recommend trying this place if you happen to be in town.
