This was an excellent dining experience Three friends & I had a delicious lunch served by the Students of Hospitality industry. A lovely atmosphere in the place was enhanced by the feeling that the servers /students were genuinely enjoying their work. I think this makes all the difference Website explains the process but can't convey the reality.. I would encourage anyone who enjoys finer dining to sample this extremely well priced fare & service A delight

Visited twice recently for a midweek lunch. It's great to see the students learning in the restaurant setting. Friendly service, excellent food and such a reasonable priced restaurant too.

Second visit to this City of Glasgow College training restaurant. Very reasonably priced Brasserie menu for beautifully prepared food served by students in training with staff supervising. We chose starters of a very generous portion of olives and cheddar croquettes. Mains of spaghetti and mussels & frites. Desserts of rum Baba & tarte au citron. Reasonably priced sauvigon blanc too. Well worth a visit on Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays only.

Table for 10 Absolutely loved our lunch experience on Monday. We received a warm welcome and were looked after by friendly and immaculately turned out students. The food was excellent, beautifully presented and tasty. Compliments to the chefs. We had a large table of 10, service was sleek and while the staff were attentive, they were unobtrusive. We are already looking forward to our next visit.

I had a superb Christmas lunch. The whole spread. Delicious,well cooked, well served with the advantage of being in good company.

I was there with a large group for a Christmas meal. Three courses coffee & mice pies. I didn't have a Christmas dinner there was good choices in each course I was really happy with my food and I am celiac if I asked anything I felt they totally understood what I was asking and that it was no bother.

So dined here today at lunchtime. Been meaning to eat here for a while. Students preparing, cooking and serving the food. Atmosphere? Great! A real buzz about the place. Service? Very professional. Personal. Good banter. Real sense of humour thrown in. Great interaction. Food beautifully presented and cooked. Delicious too. Portion size good. Vegetables lovely. Great roast potatoes! Dessert....cheese, figs, brioche....lovely end to the meal. Filter coffee to finish. Mine pies offered. Too full but appreciated. Crackers provided too. Exceptional value for money. Very well done the students for the food, cooking and service. Highly impressed. Thank you all. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Fine dining at its best! Excellent food. All in service are students so expect a little nerves and a bit slow but wow! Fab!

A well kept secret. Only open during term time. Do book in advance, the menu changes weekly. The restaurant is part of the City College Campus and has an entrance on Cathedral Street. Wheelchair accessible and spacious inside. The small plates menu was intriguing so we ordered all the dishes. They recommend 2-3 dishes per person. All the dishes were beautifully presented with unique enticing garnishes. The highlight was the Sustainable (lucky dip) plate which proved to be shredded pork crouquets, my partner preferred the teriyaki chicken. Do try to mocktails, they were very pretty and light. We also had chocolate fondants with ice cream which were superb, the table next to us had what looked like a fabulous cheese board. £40 for 2 and we had everything. The students get the tips. There is on street parking nearby or parking at Buchanan Galleries but we took the bus to Buchanan Street Station and walked for 10 minutes less than half a mile.

Absolutely delighted with the meal we had here, had such a lovely day and was honoured to be provided with a amazing meal. Grace made the dessert which tasted amazing. 😋

Student restaurant at City of Glasgow college. Only do lunch but the food is excellent and the service is smart. Great value for money. We had a 3course xmas lunch, cocktails, wine, coffee and mince pies for £25 a head. You cant beat that.

Three very happy customers. Yummy tasting menu of chicken, fish and sides. (Not so keen on pork dish). Desserts to die for. Not a big menu but great value for high end food experience. Well done Scholars’ students😍😍. We’ll be back!

Visited Scholars' today (11 Oct 2022) for a working lunch and was very impressed. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, the waiting staff were very attentive, and the bill was very moderate!! Couldn't ask for more. I'll be going there again.

My favourite plate from the lunch menu was definitely the pasta, which had a really light with a basil aroma. Also, I loved the Truffle and parmesan chips, which is the perfect for a side dish. While this is a training school, the standard was really high.

It is attractive inside , the trainee staff were lovely , but needed the manager to organise them to be more efficient . There was a bit of a hiccup with the service due to IT problems .. the food sadly was not great . To much tarragon in the soup . I think the dishes were " trying to hard ' . I got one roast potato so I had to ask for more veg . Others at my table said there was no gravy on the turkey . . The dessert was better .

Really good value for money. Restaurant quality food at bargain prices with excellent service. Booking essential and only open during College term times Monday to Friday. After your meal nip into the City Market next door for some baked goods at similar great prices

Excellent food especially for being made and served by students

I like the idea of this place where they train people as chefs and front of house. I went with some "old" school friends and won't go again. The staff being trained were very pleasant but when we tried to give some constructive criticism to the teacher in charge, she became very aggressive quite unnecessarily. Really put us off and must have been embarrassing for the students. They need someone to teach them that you don't lose it when things don't go your way.

Fantastic Mexican Street Food popup night. Beautiful professional food and terrific, attentive hospitality from the student workforce. Very clever dishes, all with genuine authentic Mexican flair. Would recommend.
