Thank you Callum for making one of the best pumpkin spice lattes I have ever had. The service was excellent and I loved the atmosphere.

Ordered breakfast baguettes as we do everyweekend but this week it came with 1 sausage 1 bacon hard egg and a hashbrown and the price was extra usually(2 bacon 2 sausage egg and mushrooms ) when questioned the reply was it is what it is and you must of been undercharged the previous times, won't be using again rude service even though the food has always been good

Everything was soo nice and good, we ordered Chips and Coffee and cold drink.. ☕🍹🍿🍟..Must recommeded guys!

Been here twice now for breakfast and I can happily say that this place is one of the best places I've ever had a fry up, delicious iced coffee and fresh local produce used. The staff are also very friendly and are always there ready to take your order. Can't wait for the next fry up!

Scarlett's is a wonderfully friendly place that allows dogs, it's food is always well prepared and well priced. They do a cracking bacon sandwich and a lovely coffee. Gets very busy because it's so popular but there's plenty of seating.

We had 2 hot drinks today to take away and I wish we could have taken them back. The coffee tasted burnt and weak. The staff were not very welcoming either, the youngest member did smile when handing me my drinks, this was the only positive of the ‘experience’.

Been a few times now, lovely cafe in Yelverton, very popular as always busy. Had a breakfast and tea and coffee which was excellent. And the staff remember how my wife likes her coffee which I think is brilliant.

Didn’t order food. Had tea and a coffee with a client of mine. The till person (female with leopard print vans) quite rude and abrupt. Client wanted two cups with their tea. Complete refusal from staff this was a client with additional needs and they were not prepared to accommodate. He attempted to explain and was met with a finger to silence him as she was trying to count change. Wonder how she would feel receiving the same treatment! Spend your money on those who care about all and not just regulars. I will not return.

Nice place and usually good but ruined on this occasion by serving a BLT with a massive amount of cheap'n'nasty mayo/salad cream already in it. Who wants salad cream in a BLT? the whole point is that the hot bacon juices & tomato slices provide the moisture. Unfortunately it came after all the other food and only Saturday girls serving to complain to, so I ate it as in a hurry & hungry. Yeuk. Beware, other sandwiches on the menu flag they have Mayo, but the NLT doesn't.

My partner and I walked along Drakes Trail with our dog last Sunday and popped in to Scarlets Kitchen for some food. The food was absolutely amazing, the beef burger was massive and high quality and the bacon, Brie and cranberry toastie was delicious. Staff were polite and helpful and the food wait was great. Also great value for money, we will definitely be back!

Great little independent cafe ,they try to cater for all dietary requirements, great that the can do hot drinks with either soya or oat milk

Food was tasty and the ingredients were well sourced. The sausages were a bit too small and bread makes up half of the large fry up, only getting 3 mushrooms. Food was a bit late but they were quite busy. I want to say 3.5, but will go with 4.

I've been in for coffee a couple of times but today my husband and I had breakfast, it was so good. Well presented and cooked to perfection. Husband had the large and I had the smaller breakfast, both of us didn't eat anything else until the evening. Highly recommended and will return. Thank you.

Dropped in for a hearty breakfast before a full day of walking in the area and delighted with our full English breakfast and veggie equivalent as well We had about 10 miles of energetic walking ahead and now having completed the walks can confirm the breakfast set us up perfectly. Excellent quality of food, served very quickly with equally excellent coffee with quick and friendly service. We have a big day of walking tomorrow so will be very pleased to visit again. Great place and completely recommended.

Visited the café with my friend and our young babies in small car seat prams. We deliberately chose a seat where we would take up less room and cause the least amount of disruption. Initially the service was great and the food was very tasty with good portions. However, halfway through eating our meal, a member of staff came and told us, quite rudely, to move as we were 'blocking both aisles' in the café. The member of staff told us to move to a table at the side of the room with less room, where we would have caused more of a blockage. We were also part-way through eating our meal and they didn't offer to help us by moving our plates, especially as we would have had to move two babies as well. We were not causing an obstruction in the café. People were walking past us all the time and the café wasn't particularly busy as it was a weekday. To add insult to injury, the same member of staff deliberately barged into my friend when we were getting ready to go, probably to prove some sort of point. All in all, after that encounter I felt quite awkward and unwelcome. Such a shame as the rest of the staff were lovely and food was good. We are local but will think twice about coming again. We will probably go to the Dartmoor Diner which is just down the road and has always been much more accommodating.

Came on two consecutive days in August 2023, first time to meet a friend, second time with MIL who lives nearby. On the first visit, I had the vegetable soup with a brown roll and sparkling spring water. On the second visit, I had Apricot flapjack and mug of tea. On both occasions, the young staff were attentive and food delivered in a timely manner.

My Partner and I stopped off for a latte the other day Sunday 25th of June. Very Friendly Staff and Service if you are sitting in you get table Service. Once my Partner had finished his latte he went off to use the Toilet. I asked 1 of the staff who was passing our table if it was possible to have mine put into a takeaway cup as I don't drink that fast the young lady said of course I followed her up to the counter with my Partners empty latte glass the lady handed me my drink & we left. Just over an hour later I realised I forgot to pay for our Lattes. I found their Telephone number & contacted them right away the lady who answered was so nice & I gave her my details & promised to come & pay them in the week & I was so apologetic. Tuesday 27th of June we got there fairly early I explained & the lady who answered my call was absolutely lovely about it we ordered 2 more Lattes but asked if we could pay all of it before we sat down. Definitely a lovely cafe with 💯 amazing staff thanks Lisa Rogers

Was just passing Yelverton and fancied a bite to eat. Ordered ham cheese & pineapple toastie, well what can I say. Quality tiger bread, slice of the the size of a dinner plate and not scabby cheap ham, lovely cheddar all washed down with a cuppa. Profit margins must be small but plentiful using quality produce. Well done I will be back when in the area. Oh and very polite staff.

Good cafe food, lovely coffee and a great knowledge of gluten free dietary requirements (and an honest discussion about the difficulties of providing an allergen free meal in a catering kitchen). Will be visiting again when next in the area, thanks!

Had not been here since before the pandemic. Varied menu with veg and a vegan stew option today. Lovely food and coffee served promptly. Bonus for us being dog friendly and she enjoyed her sausage. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Received unsolicited health 'advice' when ordering ice cream. Was told what my health advisor should be telling me. Claimed to be a health 'professional', which seems strange since I would expect a health professional to advise their clients not to take health advice from random people that they meet in a cafe.

I went to Scarlets Kitchen for lunch this afternoon as I work close by. It's a lovely place, the staff are very friendly and helpfull. For lunch I had an all day breakfast and it was delicious. All the food coming out of the kitchen looked great and If your in the Yelverton area I would highly recommend giving this place a visit.

Found this cafe through a Google search whilst on gallery deliveries in the area. After reading the reviews we decided to stop and had a great little lunch! Amongst the offerings were a great variety of sandwich fillings - I chose to take Brie and cranberry in a toastie whilst hubby took a cheese and pickle in a bap. Both were ready in good time and served with a very pretty and delicious side salad with homemade coleslaw! Staff were friendly and efficient and the coffee was good too! Excellent value! Thank you :)

Great food and cater for allergies

Went in and asked for chips and sausage, was asked if this was for a child and said yes. After waiting realised I had been given baked beans. This meal was for my disabled daughter and she will not eat baked beans. I returned to the cafe for the owner to give me the correct meal after explaining my daughter is disabled and he got irate stating it was my fault despite asking the staff beforehand because I did mot read the menu and then he refused to cook it again stating he did not have time. Absolutely the worst customer experience of my life totally shocking

This cafe would have had five stars on its food quality alone, which was excellent. The only thing to let it down was its covid safety policy. Whilst eating here I observed a young waitress/server taking her break outside. When she re-entered the establishment no hand sanitizer was used, I observed her going into the kitchen/ food preparation area and immediately start handling food. Therefore there was or could be a risk of covid contamination on plates etc. This does worry me .

We popped in Sunday 18/10/2020 for our lunch after a lovely walk on the moors. The meal itself tasted good. however unfortunately our experience was not that great over all. Having worked a long time in catering myself, The reasons for this where as follows. 1. The time for our meal to come seemed quite long considering at the time we arrived it wasn't too busy. 2. The meal was very small for the price paid for it. 3. Sadly I did not feel welcomed into the cafe. We thought after our meal we would have an ice-cream having looked forward to our meal and feeling disappointed, we said we would take out the ice cream. We where then asked to wait outside even though we had already had our lunch inside and where sat at a table. We accepted and went outside. Our ice-cream was bought out. Much to my surprise it was only one small scoop of ice cream for the £2.20 we paid and the 10 minutes it took to receive it. Sadly with these things in mind I probably will not be returning, to this cafe, unless they are able to turn it around in the future. I am always willing to give another try at a cafe as I am aware you get good and bad days. This said our meal came to about £25 with the Ice-cream and a rather small lunch for the price.

This place is now called Scarlett's. My husband and I ducked in here because of the awful weather. My husband has been here several times as a stop off on his cycle ride. Cafe is warm, clean and pleasant. Only had a tea cake and pot of tea but our waitress was very smiley and efficient. I can see why my husband visits this place.

Love the mixed seed/lentil veggie burgers. Service is quick and the people are very nice.

Lovely little cafe located amongst the shops in Yelverton. The staff greeted us with a nice welcome even though they were very busy, the place was full with customers from all demographics.
