Can somebody please tell me what on earth has happened to this company? the quality of one of the best bakers has gone, how do you justify the price for the size of eg your sausage and bean pasty cheap beans no sausage please go and compare it with Greggs I've just bought various items from Sayers and as so many Sayers shops have now closed when seeing one open I remembered how much I used to enjoy Sayers, but wow now I understand why so many shops have gone its such a shame so disappointed in the product I will never use Sayers again no value for money, cheap product, not what it used to be, maybe a little bit of market research of competitors also using quality produce instead of having the cheek to charge full price for crap such a let down so many others to choose from so why use Sayers I may as well threw my money in the bin as that is were these items have just gone

Clean shop, and good fare. But when I visited around 2pm there was little left to choose from in the way of pasties. Indian Vegetable pasty not enjoyable to me.

We stopped by to have a little brunch. It was freezing outside. We had some steak pie with some chips and gravy and a cuppa. It was gorgeous. £11 for the two of us.

Seit mehreren Jahrzehnten Sayers steht für traditionale englische Bäckerei-Kost inkl. Brot.

Me, my mum and daughter called in for a cup of tea, Saturday 18th June, 11:30am the lady that served us, an older lady was abrupt, rude & like she didn't have time for us. Like we were an inconvenience.

Sayers is all about quick food and that's exactly wot it is. Cheery staff behind Perspex cases and Formica tables. And the tables here are far apart - fantastic - really dislike being too close to other tables (Salt House Tapas tables are 8-9 inches apart think that's 20cm)Badly needed cup of tea and it came steaming hot in a great big mug - perfect.Tables nice and clean too.Friendly cheery atmosphere

This is a very basic eating place, but having said that the breakfast I had was good quality and remarkably cheap. A full English (and I mean full) and coffee for less than six quid can't be sneezed at. Ordered and paid for the food at the counter then it was brought over by very friendly staff.

Not the very cheapest but still good value. My tip is to check out the "Specials" posters and that is were the really good deals are e.g. an afternoon tea all in for £1.99 (now that is good value). This is probably Sayers largest branch / cafe and has good outdoor piazza style seating in Williamson Square .... and you can watch the world drift by .... so all in all very good.

I don't really know where to start...Menu is basic but looks ok.Confused on ordering as they operate a 2 counter system. Cold / take away and hot/ eat in..Was told to go to other counter as we were eating in. Got to our turn, both items my son picked were not available so he ordered a sandwich. I was told he could have it as long as they have it on the cold self service counter. Got sandwich only to find out that the Pepsi was also on the cold counter and to get this myself. Finally placed order and my mum paid. Sat down all of 1 minute to be told that they don't have the pie I ordered .. didn't bother with the pie just had chips and gravy..no refund offered. On the plus side the member of staff that dealt with us was apologetic and was very helpful.

If you are in the city centre and looking for a quick bite or snack at a reasonable price, this is well worth finding. Clean and presentable with pleasant staff and food to a reasonable standard.

This is apparently part of a chain of bakers, established over a hundred years ago, with many local branches. This one was in a popular pedestrianized part of the city centre, at the corner of Williamson Square. It is modern, bright and spacious, and as we entered, although the ‘take-away’ area was busy, we were pleased to see plenty of vacant tables. Unfortunately, the reason for this was obvious - tables had not been cleared of the previous user’s cutlery, crockery and left over food and wrappings.I think there was seating for approximately 40 people. The good news is that they served delicious coffee and cake, which we enjoyed, at a reasonable price.Throughout our 20-25 minute stay, we did not see one table cleared around us, although staff passed by them regularly after delivering food to other tables. There were even trays on some tables, so it would not have been a difficult task. Why go back to the serving area with empty hands ?This is either laziness or bad training or complacency, I don’t know which. I saw two couples enter and almost immediately leave the premises because there was no clean table to sit at.Unfortunately there was quite a lot of food and wrappers on the floor, over a large area, just inside the front door.If it had not been for this, I am sure we would have visited again, during our four-day stay in Liverpool.

Reminiscent of Littlewoods caf circa 1973. Enough said. Bagel inedible. Tea not made with boiling water. Dreary staff and surroundings. Come on John Lewis. You are taking the mick.
