Sarnies in Sheffield

He estado aquí dos veces, una en diciembre de 2024 y ayer marzo de 2025 , ambas veces no he recibido lo que pedí. Tengo alergias al gluten, lácteos y tomates. Cada vez que he pedido tocino y huevos -en diciembre me dieron un plato con tocino, huevos y judías horneadas (las judías horneadas contienen salsa de tomate)- ayer me dieron tocino y huevo en un panecillo. No soy de los que se enfrentan, así que comí lo que pude y tomé mis medicamentos para la alergia. El lugar es súper concurrido, muchos trabajadores del centro de la ciudad y público en general frecuentan el lugar y los alimentos que recibí eran de buena calidad y tamaños para el tipo de lugar que es, pero no volveré a ir debido a mis alergias y las malas comunicaciones que han sucedido.

Qué fantástico café, tuvimos fantásticos bocadillos para llevar y regresamos al día siguiente para el desayuno y también recogimos algunos bocadillos para nuestro viaje en tren a casa. El equipo era increíble, tan amable y servicial, nos encantó nuestra visita y la próxima vez que estemos en Sheffield, estaremos de vuelta a las 9 nos vemos a todos. Gracias por ser tan amable y servicial con nosotros!

This family run cafe is tucked up a small ginnel but is well worth a visit. Food cooked to order and friendly staff. I had a home made quiche with a fresh side salad. Extremely good value too. I will be visiting again!

They say they want you to spend your money in local family businesses on their sign, a sandwich, a scone, a teacake and a bag of crisps £7.80! You don't get a receipt so I can't work out the prices but the sandwich was £3.50 making the other three items £4.30. Local cafe prices for a toasted teacake is around £1.40 and a scone is £1.30 so although their food is wonderful I think I'll be going elsewhere and close by who appear to be considerably cheaper.

Difficult to happen across but worth it. Fresh cooked food, nice staff and pleasant surroundings. Definitely going to be a regular

Este es un café británico sencillo que sirve comida sabrosa sin lujos que esperaría de un café local. También tienen una bonita colección de Pete Mckees firmados personalmente en la pared, lo que me hace pensar que uno de los mejores de Sheffield también es un fan.

If in Sheffield city centre and looking for great service and really tasty genuine food then try this place. It might just look like a classic cafe but this place is definitely a hidden gem

Have been going to this cafe for about 2 years and usually go at least twice a week. Food is always good value for money, good sized portions, staff very friendly. Everyone from families to nearby office staff, can get busy at lunchtime but you are never waiting long for your order. Takeout or eat-in available

a great selection of sandwich fillings, friendly staff, nice sausage rolls - all at a very reasonable price. I requested a combination for my sandwich which wasn't on the menu - not a problem at all. Recommended if you are in the area.

THis place does what it needs to do i.e. a superb full english delivered with a smile and at speed. This set us up for a day at the Crucible watching superb snooker. WEll done as it always hits the spot!

Popped in for breakfast. Sat down at the 'breakfast bar' to a fabulous bacon and egg bap - went large for 50p more. Fine coffee too. And friendly ladies serving quickly to my request. Thanks Sarnies!

This is the real deal for a friendly, local, traditional cafe serving the best toast and marmite and breakfasts with proper tea - for an amazingly cheap price.

For a good hearty meal on budget prices it couldn't be beat. The staff are very friendly and real Sheffielders, If you don't mind a typical cafe that's clean then Sarnies is the one for you.

Happened on this place as never been to Sheffield before. Found it great for a 'bite to eat at lunchtime' staff were really friendly and food was freshly cooked and reasonbly priced. Worth a visit.
