We always use these as have a Gluten free dietary requirement.

Not been for ages, better than I remember it for sure, friendly and polite chap serving and the fish special (£6.50) we had was superb!

Fish stringy and seemed not fresh. Chips expensive £3.40 for a small portion.

Food is always nice from here. Fish nice crispy batter and staff are really friendly aswell.

It wasn't like it use to be the fish was very dry and the batter not up to it's usual standard

This used to be a great chippy. However last two visits were rubbish. Smaller portions, rocketing prices and not really good food either. Went yesterday, fish batter like rock, so many peas on my serving it was swimming (it was 30 mins before closure so I'm guessing they wanted to use them up!). Probably won't go back, sadly going downhill.

For the money it's good value food for sure, it isn't the best chippy in the world but it's alot better than some around Sheffield so it's definitely worth a visit to see for yourself.

I have been going to this chippy for years now and just been for a small chips, small fish and a small curry and cost me £9.00 the price has gone up so much should not be that much for a small ?

Used to brilliant years ago, called in after a long time away and was disappointed. What on earth are those sausages !? Some kind of kebab taste. Vile. My lad loves a chippy sausage but they are plain awful. I had the mini fish n chip special and the price seems steep to me, seen cheaper in S6 area tbh. I would have been served sooner if the staff weren't busy gossiping about every single family on Parson Cross and how they all knew each other causing a big queue while they discussed family history. Hence I won't be returning. Riverside for me everytime.

If you have intolerance, these guys were very thorough with me, patient and did everything with a smile on their face. Not just the typical "Hmm, I don't really know." Confident and reassuring with what they was serving. Tastes delicious, plenty in their portions and probably the friendliest chippy I've ever been to! Cannot recommend enough! Thanks guys! :-)

Used to be the best chippy about but recently it has gone way downhill, over priced and poor quality now.

One of my favourite fish and chip shops sheffield, the specials include a sauce with sausage or rissole. Always friendly and everytime I've been they have been in demand. Prepare for a wait during peak times. -@steelcityhunger

The chippy was clean. Staff service was really good. I asked for a light battered cod and they did it there and then without a problem. I had a wait a bit but I expected that. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty. Not sure why the mushy peas are so, well, green but they're nice. I've given 4 stars because I think it's a bit on the pricey side but again, it was really tasty and fresh and the service was good. Thanks, we'll be back 😊

Only ever had chicken kebab which is nice and staff are fantastic plus the owner is a biker.

I had proper old school fish chips mushy peas just as good I remember from Fleetwood as a teenager in the 70's Me mate had battered beefburgers chips and curry sauce which went down just as well.A popular, busy place.

What a wonderful local chippy. Lovely staff and huge portions of fish and chips. The fish was moist and tasty. The chips were lovely and soft no scabby dry ones. I totally recommend this place. Not the cheapest but then I don't mind paying when you get quality like this. Well done everyone 👌👌👍👍

We called there yesterday for a cod special. I think it was £4,65. We had cod which was lovely and white, sausage, chips which were cooked lovely and we could eat every one and curry. We enjoyed it and will definitely call again when in the area.

One of the best fish and chips shops around. We moved from near the area to around 25 minutes away and we still pick up our fish and chips from here.

I have used this chippy for many years. The staff are very polite and get you served quickly. My guilty pleasure is the battered burgers absolutely fantastic. In fact all their food is great

I come to this chippy often. The food is great, and a large portion of chips is huge. Feeds 4 of us no problem, and the prices are very reasonable. Separate doors for entry and exit too at the moment, with the social distancing. They're doing all they can to abide by the rules, without spoiling your visit. Worth a visit, definitely.

First time used “Today’s Catch”. Quick service, fish was absolutely lovely, nice batter, and plenty of actual fish. Chips were very good too. Would love it to be a sit-in meal but it is a take away. Definitely go again when in the area (we live 80 miles away).

Helpful pleasant staff. Good products at reasonably competative prices. Crunchy thick batter coated the brilliant white cod like a nice fitting jacket. Chips were nearly double fried. Crunchy and tasty.

Finally back home in Sheffield, I was hungry, tired after a long flight from the States and ready for my favourite meal... I ventured out to find the closest fish n chip shoppe... 2 minutes from where i am staying, i came across Today's Catch!! Friendly staff, fabulous chips (loaded with plenty of salt & vinger) and beautifully battered crispy fish... It was perfect and I enjoyed ever bite!!!🍴🍟
