Lovely cafe next to the Quay. Hidden gem. We had the full English which was spot on, and also ordered some sandwiches and cake for our lunches. Great selection of breakfast, lunch and snack options, as well as coffee, tea and various vegan options. Friendly staff and good value! Will return when I'm back in Sheffield 😊

Beautiful cafe excellent staff. Lovely setting overlooking the Quay. Breakfast had finished but because it was quiet they indulged us . Sausages were amazing! Would be happy to recommend this lovely cafe. They became extremely busy with takeaway drinks and sandwiches etc. .cakes and salads

Went with age uk for young onset meet up, staff was lovely & accomdating for us. Coffee was lovely nice big cups, food also looked amazing x

Love this little gem. My niece and i ordered our bacon very well done and it was cooked to perfection. In fact it was so nice we were debating as to if we should be greedy and grab another one. Will definitely go again when in the area. Or maybe the next few minutes 🤣

Brilliant little cafe near the centre of Sheffield at Victoria Quays. Decided to pop in for a bit of dinner while out doing the Five Weirs Walk with our husky. Fast and efficient service. Excellent food. Friendly staff. Will definitely be calling again next time we’re out that way.

After reading so many positive opinions, I gave it a shot ... a Very disappointing experience. Customer service is non-existent, so no one asked me if everything was ok with my food; tables were dirty even though I came straight after the opening, there was no salt or pepper on the table, and there were no napkins. Food-wise, English breakfast was elementary; the quality was not high, and portions were small. At the same time, the place was dominated by the smell and sound from the open kitchen. I do not recommend dining in.

Excellent value for money. Wide range of food is available. Busy lunchtime spot but the staff are quick and efficient and still maintain a friendly service.

Had breakfast here whilst visiting Sheffield for the British swimming championships. Much better value and quality than the Travelodge breakfast. Nice location on the canal only two minutes walk from Ponds Forge.

Love this little cafe at the side of the canal. A wide range of food is on offer from a full English breakfast to vegetarian and vegan wraps. Highly recommended after a canal side walk.

Saw this cafe on Trip Advisor and decided to give it a go. The cafe is situated in a good location near the canal. Fairly decent menu and we had the option of sitting inside or outside. My husband had the full English and I had a hot sandwich, we both had a cup of tea which was piping hot just how we like it. The staff were friendly and the manager greeted all the customers which was nice Definitely worth a visit.

Well located, just at Victoria Quay. You can seat outside enjoying your food or coffee also the views. Fresh sandwiches and friendly staff. Highly recommended

I visited the café on 18/06/21 with my mum; we had a lovely cycle to the quay and sat outside on the benches. The staff are friendly, the food is excellent, and the pricing is fair. They offer a tremendous vegan roll, which I was pleasantly surprised about, as well as a great collection of other fresh bakery style items. If you're in the area, it's well worth a visit to get away from the busy city.

Myself and my son ordered a full English and it was superb. Every aspect of the meal was amazing! Friendly service too. The menu is varied and we will definitely be coming back to try other things. Excellent collection of cakes too.

Popped in for a coffee for me and a milkshake for my grandson, both absolutely delicious. Staff were very welcoming and the service was excellent. I dont see how anyone could give a bad review of this place. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy they made an effort to welcome everyone that entered. I only had a coffee but I cant praise them enough, not only was the coffee superb the service I received was impeccable. Thank you to all, hope to see you again soon.

Lovely spot for breakfast lunch and brunch. The staff are really polite and for the location the prices are good value. It would be expected to have a higher price due to location but that isn't the case at all :) very tasty in my opinion!

We came here after reading a review saying they did a really nice breakfast, really wish I hadn't. When we arrived there were three members of staff on, not one of them greeted us as we came in, I said hello after a few awkward seconds and one of them said hello back. We assumed it wasn't table service by the zero amount of attention given, no problem. We ordered, I order a full English and wow what a terrible low quality plate of food I was served. I love bangers with a breakfast but these sausages were like jelly, giggling on my plate, they must have been 90% bread! One of my slices of bacon tasted strange, the other was okay. Egg was snotty and I was served burnt toast, not slightly over done, literally burnt toast! My partner had chicken tikka ciabatta melt, it wasn't a ciabatta it was just a long breadcake.. the chicken tikka was just a sandwich filler. I know people have off days but my review would still stand due to the low quality produce. It was also a disappointment to see so much pre-packed/shop bought produce being used. Sandwich fillers pre-bought, shortbread from Costco, Scones from Costco, Mini frozen sausage rolls.

Staff are friendly, breakfast was honestly the best i have had in a long time. A must if staying in Sheffield.

Visited this cafe multiple times during 3 day stay at nearby hotel. Great choices, super-friendly owner/staff and good quality. Children loved the milkshake flavours and ice-cream! Busy little venue but always time for a smile!

My number one favourite eating place in Sheffield. I know the owner personally, but this is a totally unbiased review - the food is amazing, and the staff are too. It always seems to be busy, but Jill and her team manage the place with sheer professionalism. Loving the new doors and windows, and I think this really finishes it off. Absolutely amazing place.

I utilised this little cafe for breakfast as it was not far from my hotel and seemed to be in a nice location, as indeed it proved as the Victoria Quays is a very nice redeveloped area around the Sheffield Canal basin. Built into an arch it is small inside with half a dozen tables and was a bit cluttered for my visit, but you can sit outside on the quay side if the weather is fair. £5.25 for a Full English breakfast with tea or coffee included was very good value and certainly hit the spot for me. If you sit inside then you also get free entertainment from the consistent staff banter between themselves, so if you want to be with your own thoughts it’s best to sit outside

We had lunch here on a rainy weekday. Great choice of food at very reasonable prices. I had Veggie Breakfast and my partner had a baked potato with beans. Staff were friendly and we din't have to wait long to be served. We ate in but they also do takeaways.

Not knowing the area at all and choosing not to book breakfast in the hotel we were staying, we found this cafe with the help of trip advisor. £5.25 for a full English breakfast including toast and a standard tea/coffee is excellent value. We chose to have speciality coffees so had to pay extra for these, but it still made the cost of the breakfast reasonable. The breakfast itself was delicious, the bacon especially was nice and thick, not your standard shop bought vacuum packed stuff, very tasty. Good choice of alternative breakfasts too including omelette or porridge. Lovely location, I imagine, especially when the sun shines, unfortunately it was a bit dreary the day we visited. Staff very welcoming and friendly. Only a small place, seating a bit tight inside, but plenty of seating outside during better weather conditions. During busy times be prepared to wait for food, but at least you know it's all cooked to order, and it is worth the wait.

Plain, simple nicely cooked breakfast with toast and a hot drink for a fiver! What's not good about that. Really friendly little place with well priced food and drinks, also offering a decent range of vegan and vegetarian foods as well. Seating inside and out and the place is dog friendly.

My folks and I stay in Sheffield every year when the snooker’s on and we love coming to the Victoria Junction Cafe! The staff are really friendly, it’s good value and it’s in a great location at Victoria Quays so you can sit outside if the weather’s nice. One of the big pluses is the cafe’s vegan selection. We can’t resist the delicious Veggie Breakfast (tea/coffee, veggies sausages, hash browns, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and avocado), and there’s also an extensive vegan sandwich menu with 15 options, not to mention vegan cakes and snacks. Looking forward to coming back next year!

Recently back in Sheff with some University mates and we enjoyed the good value fry ups and nice atmosphere two mornings in a row! Lovely place in a part of Sheffield that looks to be developing.

I've been going to Victoria Junction for years as I work locally and would miss this place greatly if I ever moved on. It's a warm and friendly family run cafe, nothing is too much trouble and the food has always been fantastic and fairly priced. The last person to have left a 1 star review must have either run over their cat that morning or visited a Victoria Junction in a parallel universe as you couldn't be further from the truth!

Fantastic little breakfast for my little girl you can get hot chocolate hot drinks and a fantastic bacon sandwich can be windy down there and the ground surface is cobbles and old stone flags so be aware the little silver tabels can rock a bit and wobble please check the place out big respect mat

Me and my Family have been to the Victoria Junction Cafe quite a few times now and have never been disappointed, My regular order is the Full English Breakfast which is amazing and a great price! While the rest of my family have had omelettes, vegetarian sandwiches and some Vegan ones too which have all been great! Very good variety on the menu.

Really lovely staff, lovely cafe, my friends cooked breakfasts and butties looked lovely, unfortunately the omlette I had was terrible. I sent the first back as uncooked in the middle, they were very gracious, 2nd one, was so dry and burnt in areas, she did ask if it was ok, I lied amd said yes because I didn't want to cause any further issue, particularly in front of colleagues who are regulars there. My advice to the young lad cooking them, turn heat down, move egg around with a spatula, omlettes shouldnt be like pancakes, shouldnt be dry as a bone and definately no areas of very dark brown *burned, I doubt if Ill be back. Cup of tea was lovely tho. Sorry about the feedback but have to be honest.

I work several days a week in Sheffield and go here to get lunch every day. The food is always lovely and fresh. The service is always good and friendly.

Sunday morning was spent having a lovely family breakfast at Victoria junction in the tranquil surrounding of Victoria Quays. The menu has traditional breakfast fare along with a surprisingly broad choice for those of a more vegetarian outlook which kept us all happy. Of particular note were the vanilla lattes which were a huge success.

We were staying at the Hilton hotel and we were too mean to pay hotel breakfast prices so we were very pleased to find this cafe.

Staying on the nearby canal boat I attempted to cook my own pancakes, which.. through no fault of my own of course... were a disaster! Luckily Victoria Junction was here to lend a helping hand. After seeing pancakes sadly not on the menu, I explained my predicament to the friendly staff there and they offered to cook me them anyway. They even offered to bring the pancakes to the boat. Fantastic! For friendly staff, who are happy to go out of their way to help, visit Victoria Junction. You saved my Valentine's day breakfast!

This was our second visit- which proved that our first impression was right! This is a little gem. The wraps and sandwiches are superb and great value (filled with flavour and ingredients!) it is a fabulous place to stop after a walk down the canal - or after shopping in Sheffield - as it is right next to parking. There is room inside and seating outside - a pleasant spacious spot - well away from traffic. It is an area which will no doubt become busier.
