Best coffee in Stevenage Old town (serve Camden coffee) very friendly personal service from the lovely owner Chan and staff. Lovely Home made breakfast lunch& snacks too. Highly recommended, streets above the faceless global coffee house brands..

Absolutely love this hidden gem in the Old Town high street! The coffee is second to none ☕️👍 - they use a brand called Allpress which is superior, professional coffee 🤩 They also sell the coffee beans from Allpress if you fall in love with their coffee which is easy to do as it’s perfect! We enjoyed a healthy salad too and loved how fresh the ingredients were! The salad portion was huge and varied (we had stuffed peppers, cous cous, salad and chickpeas etc) 🫑🥙🥒 The staff are super relaxed and friendly too! Its nice to feel at home in this cosy little place ☺️ Highly recommend supporting this place which makes Stevenage so much warmer and welcoming :)

Friendly and helpful staff. A relatively short (6) menu of interesting and tasty sounding hot sandwiches, including vegan, vegetarian and with meat. I had the Greek Ciabatta, which was excellent. Decent coffee. All served very quickly.

Been here twice now, once when it first opened and last weekend. The first time I was really unimpressed by the tuna melt, the baguette needed cooking more and the filling was minimal. Costa much nicer and better filling. 2nd time, stodgy bacon bagel, didn't really enjoy it. The guy that served me was pleasant but what really puts me off is the hygiene with the cook. Both times, no gloves when he is making the sandwich, at least Simmons wear gloves. I was looking forward to this place opening but don't think I will return. Won't recommend

Absolutely amazing new place in the Old Town! The hot sandwiches and coffee are absolutely delish! I’ve tried the chicken and mozzarella hot sandwich and it was hands down the best sandwich I had in a long time or arguably ever! We also tried the bacon breakfast bagel and it was really good too! We are planning on coming back soon to try the halloumi one! 🙂 I’ve got to also say how lovely the staff are, taking their time to come and have a chat with their customers! I’ve tried their carrot cake too and I thought nothing will beat the next doors shop carrot cake, but I found my new favourite! 🙈 The shop itself is clean and tidy and the tables are cleaned as soon as people who occupied it leave the shop.

Came here for the first time with my girlfriend last week…I had the Reuben, her a Breakfast roll…both absolutely delicious! The cakes also…absolutely amazing, we tried a selection and our favourite was the caramel shortbread. Nice to see a good independent sandwich option and will certainly be coming back and we can highly recommend

I have been to Sarnee a couple of times since it has opened and have never been disappointed. The food is amazing (notably the Chicken and Mozzarella Ciabatta and the White Chocolate & Raspberry Blondie) and the coffee is very good too! The staff are very friendly and welcoming which creates a great atmosphere and it is super clean. I’d highly recommend that you visit as it is much nicer than the chains on the high street and at a decent price too. I will continue to recommend Sarnee and will return soon! Thank you!

Just amazing! 10/10. Proper sandwiches, coffee reminds me of being overseas as you just can’t get local coffee this good! I have since brought my family, other friends and recommended it on all of my social medias. Chris and the staff are charismatic, honest and friendly. This is a spot great for a Saturday lunch date, a family cake related treat or even a working lunch. Definitely my new favourite spot in Hertfordshire, and I won’t be surprised by the awards this place wins.

My favourite lunch/brunch spot in Stevenage! I always go for the Chicken and Mozarella sandwich... it's huge and really generously filled. Their coffees are 10/10 as well. If I'm walking through old town and had to choose between Sarnee or Costa next door, it's an easy choice for me. I believe it's run by a local family as well!

The hot mozzarella chicken sandwich was delicious and it was a big portion! Husband was happy that there was some left for him! Staff were very friendly and I will be back to try the cakes next time
