Nicholas was an amazing server! So welcoming and friendly. Even being in the restaurant, I can see how friendly and welcoming he is with everybody, not just myself. The food was also amazing and I enjoyed it very much! Grazie Nicholas!

Food is incredible, cooked to perfection. My favourite Italian restaurant by far and I've eaten in many. The atmosphere has an informal relaxed vibe and an exciting buzz when it gets busy. You can eat here dressed to the nines or casual.

I've been coming to Saporitalia for over 10 years, from their old location to the new one, and it's been my favourite Italian spot in town. However, it's a shame to say that the experience has really slipped. The last two visits have left us disappointed, and it's becoming increasingly difficult to justify returning.There seems to be a complete disconnect between the front-of-house staff and the kitchen. When you go out on a Friday night, you want to enjoy some drinks, a bottle of wine, and your food without feeling rushed. Unfortunately, that's impossible when your mains arrive just as you start eating your starters. This rush forces you to either wolf down your food or let your starters go cold, which is far from ideal—especially when you're paying £25 a head for pasta, which isn't cheap.This rushed and unwelcoming dining experience is anything but Italian. It feels like they want you out as soon as possible. While I genuinely like the waiters and can see they want to deliver good service, they seem powerless to change the situation. When I asked why everything was being rushed, the young waiter empathised but admitted he didn’t know—and did nothing to address it. I would have expected a manager to step in, explain, or even address the issue with the kitchen, but that never happened.The whole experience left a bad taste, like they just want your money and then get you out, which I’m sure isn’t their intention, but it’s become an all-too-familiar feeling here. Dropping £100 and not even getting to dessert because of the poor pacing is simply unacceptable. I used to recommend this place for all occasions, but now I’d only suggest coming here for a pizza or a sharer platter.

Loved the prp and margherita pizza; authentic Italian

This place is so good! The food is delicious so much so our kids often eat two bowls of their pasta and ask to go even though we don’t live in London. They are also so incredible with the kids and make them feel so welcome and special. They also accommodate gluten free and I’d highly recommend the GF gnocchi. Highly recommended.

Never been to Portobello Road before so enjoyed our stroll down to the end. As not sure of our timings I had not booked dinner. Went past Suporitalia which looked inviting, checked it on Tripadvisor which we always do and bingo it lived up to its rating. Very friendly staff and really lovely food. What more could you want.

I love this restaurant in Portobello road! The owner, Mariella, always makes me feel home! Myself, my friends and my baby had a lovely time yesterday evening. The food is always top made with quality products and the atmosphere is friendly and vibrant! Also the Italian music is the cherry on the cake for me!!! I cannot wait to be back!!

Ive been going here on and off for 5 years or more so I thought it would be a good place to hold an important family celebration. They did not let me down. Good pre-dinner communications. Great atmosphere, fun but excellent service, very reasonable bill. 11 people with totally different orders in an already busy restaurant but all came at the same time - amazing. As it was close to my hotel, I was already planning to come back and this would have been an automatic five-star if it weren't for some seriously terrible customer service when it was time to pay my bill. I attempted to use my Wise card as I often do when I travel and I made sure it had well over $1,000 in it before I departed. When I paid, I got a notification from Wise on my phone that I'd been charged. The waiter told me my payment had been declined, and I asked him if he could please verify because of the notification I'd received. He went to talk to a superior and she came storming over with a receipt that said "void" (meaning it did not, in fact go through) and repeatedly pointed at the word and said sarcastically "do you know what this means? do you know what this word means?" even as I took out a credit card to pay with. She was also speaking quite loudly so it got the attention of other tables, which I didn't appreciate. I said of course, I just wanted verification before I used an alternate form of payment. Even as I was taking out my credit card to pay, she continued to berate me and say "We deserve to be paid, we need to be paid," when I clearly had no intentions of not paying. What was a simple matter to resolve turned into a scene; needless to say I didn't return as planned which is really too bad because the food was great, but I prefer to spend my money at restaurants that are able to resolve these matters without shouting and berating a customer.

Nice Italian in NottinHill. Nice staff. I had the Calzone and it was very nice. The desserts range is amazing.

This gem is easily missed when walking along Portobello Road. I found it when doing an online search for the best pizza near me. We ordered a Margherita pizza to go. Once we devoured that, we decided to have dinner at the restaurant the next night. What a great decision. The calamari, pastas, and dessert were all delicious. Service was great and atmosphere very friendly and relaxed. A great find.

As much as it seems and in fact it was a miserable dinner, at least I wasn't left with nothing🙄🙄 my traveling companion, after three days of compulsorily eating vegan imposed by me🤣 forced me to go at least to an Italian restaurant so to please this poor man as an omnivore I still accepted, hoping to be able to find at least a small option for us vegans. I see canine soup on the menu and my eyes light up since I hadn't seen beans for days but it was all a dream because luckily when I asked the lady for safety the soup was made with ham... I'll spare you all the bad words I said to her in my mind but I must say she was also quite nice to offer me a tomato soup. But I honestly expected something more... for goodness sake this doesn't take away from its goodness because I really would have liked another flat dish because it was really tasty well seasoned with a good oil a good flavor of all the aromas such as rosemary garlic etc. and it was perfect to eat the bread but cabbage it's not a bread tomato and vegetable dinner... in fact afterwards I recovered with a nice sweet outside the shop but you can do much much more from the guys!!!! However, one thing that I was really happy with was this vegetable dish that I wanted to take as a side dish but practically if it hadn't been simple and vegetables and therefore what it gives and so much more and all seasoned in an exceptional way indeed perhaps a little too much oil in the bottom. the beautiful, truthful and helpful lady just like the Neapolitan soul 😘

The pizza was nice but the carbonara was stodgy with chunks of overcooked bacon on it. The waitress was rather rude and didn’t check on us once.

After exploring Notting Hill we wanted a good lunch and the menu looked good. We were not disappointed with pizzas with loads of toppings. The dough was so thin but really nice. Very pleasant venue and friendly staff.

Pizza with fabulous dough and excellent quality toppings. Excellent first courses. A special mention to Roberto, a pizza chef who has made his work a passion. We had a nice chat about flours, doughs and long leavening times. What can I say, Italy in London. And Francesca who advised us well. Compliments.

Visiting from South Africa but with a strong Italian heritage. I had the pasta carbonara that was out of this world, my wife had Napoli pizza equally good. Made the authentic way and presented beautifully Service was quick and our waitress so helpful and accommodating. Worth every cent . Bravo. Buon appetito

Go here if you enjoy feeling uncomfortable when dining. The waitress we had was rude and sarcastic when I was trying to ask her about making my meal vegetarian, due to poor service from her we asked to remove the service charge which I think is fair- she however did obviously not as she slammed down the card machine with a sour face. There is a way to go about such things.

Today is a very special day for me. I can officially say, I’ve had the best pizza in my life. All of the ingredients, down to the salt are imported from Italy. Chef Roberto perfected every part of the pizza. The dough was airy, perfectly crisp on a wood fire, the tomato’s were aromatic (with perfectly balanced acidity/sweeness), the basil was unlike anything I’ve tried before, and the flavors harmoniously coddled my soul. It was truly an emotional experience. He took Monica and I down a journey of his lineage to Naples, Italy. Bravisimo. If you are in London, go to Notting Hill and have the best Margarita pizza you’ll ever have

I went here with my family and everyone enjoyed their food! I had the pesto gnocchi, which was good and very filling! The servers were very nice and overall we had a good experience.

Had a really bad experience „enjoying“ our dinner. The waiter was extremely unprofessional and clumsy at the same time. He tried blaming me for him stumbling and spilling a drink eventhough I didn’t even touch him in the slightest way. Being rude at me/us for the rest of our time we did not really enjoy our dishes. The Ambient was fine though. Would not recommend visiting this place.

I had pasta bolognese and my partner had a calzone. We had garlic bread and cheese as a starter to share. My pasta was very tasty though portion size was quite small. my partner’s calzone was nice and size was large, so he gave me a small part of his calzone. The calzone was filling and tasty. The waiters though (especially the young waitress) needs to try and smile when taking the order and serving us. We didn’t feel welcome here. Just another number.

Left my bag in the restaurant by mistake, called the restaurant multiple times to ask for it however they denied that they have it, even left my phone number but they never called back. Thank god that i had my airpods in the bag checked ‘find my’ and went all the way back. Guess what the staff had it with them. Wonderful playing with people stuffs!!

Probably the best pizza in London. Finally a restaurant that prepares the pizza exactly like in Italy. Sometimes even in Italy you don’t tase pizza like this!

Delicious Neapolitan pizza!!!!!

I have visited here with a Zumba instructor friend of mine after our class close by. The restaurant is very organised and neat, the interior brings us to Italy right from the entrance. The staff is friendly, helpful and also informative, they also seem enjoy working for the company which is very reassuring to us as guests. The food we have ordered was very delicious and fresh, not to mentioned that it’s a very fairly priced restaurant for such an outstanding area like Notting Hill. Easy to find this place, and I definitely will be returning here regularly!

Excellent pizza that is very similar to the Neapolitan one

I'm not one for leaving reviews but really felt that Saporitalia deserved one here. The atmosphere was delightful and the staff attentive and charming, but the food was off the charts great. Flavours abound and the classic simplicity in Italian cooking where they have simple ingredients but combined so well means you get a meal to remember. 10/10 all day long.

Maitre D’ warm, gracious and articulated dishes, flavors and cooking method/s accurately and in well cadenced manner. Owner/chef did the cooking and a thoroughly lovely meal: Lobster Linguini, Lasagne and Beef Carpaccio.

Ended up here by chance after shopping. What a great restaurant, great service and the food is incredibly tasty.

We had Simona look after us. The menu is on a table ia QR code, aside from that we were assisted in person. The menu which is quite extensive and almost too inspiring to choose from. I opted for the rigatoni (with aubergine). My friend had the lasagne. My plate was hot and the food smelled and looked delicious. The freshness of the tomatoes and the magnitude of the stringy cheese made this next level authentic Italian for me. It was meant to be a light lunch but took half the huge serving in a doggie bag. The tastiest thing ever next day - promise. I live close by and it was my first time there because my friend hadn’t been either. Will now be a firm favourite. First rate service.

Excellent Italian cuisine in a perfect atmosphere with amazing service.

The food we had was very nice and the portions are also very generous. Unfortunately, the service just wasn't good and kind of took away from the experience. I had made a reservation for 4 people and they seated us at a table for 4. My partner left the table for a bit and in the meantime the waiter serving us managed to come and take away his cutlery and napkin before we even managed to say that there was someone there, so I had to wait to get his attention again and ask him to bring the cutlery back. We then ordered our drinks and food very clearly, but then our waiter brought my partner an amaretto sour instead of an amaretto liqueur (which he had ordered) and the waiter seemed visibly confused but he took away the wrong drink. Our friends had also ordered a garlic bread to share as a starter and two pizzas for their mains. Once we had our starters, only one of their pizzas arrived. We thought the other one might take a bit longer, so the rest of us began to eat. After a while, our friend's pizza still hadn't come, so we got the attention of a waitress to ask what was happening with it. She went to check and came back with our waiter, who again seemed confused, and it turned out that he hadn't even gotten the second pizza order. So, they apologised and said they'd get the pizza to our friend quickly. Some time passed again, the waitress came around and she asked our friend if her pizza had already been brought (despite the clear lack of food in front of her) and we said that it hadn't. She went away again to check and at some point later the pizza finally arrived. Everyone else had already had their food, and mine had gotten cold whilst I was waiting, so our friend doesn't eat alone. They brought us 4 limoncello shots in the end as an apology, but that's not what we were there for and we were quite disappointed. Advice - please ask staff to read back to customers what they've ordered to avoid unpleasant situations like that. It also sucks paying service charge for bad service.

A wonderful place! I’m something of a Pizza fanatic and have went to many a pizza restaurant in London and over seas. This is without a doubt the best pizza I have had in London. Fresh beautiful ingredients, fragrant scents and a light fluffy dough. It’s cooked to perfection, no burns- just immaculate wood fired pizza. All of the staff are extremely friendly and helpful, attentive to yours and the whole restaurants needs, yet personally always gives you a feeling that you are being prioritised even at the busiest times of day. Prices are around £17-£20 for a pizza with extra topping but absolutely worth it.

Me and my friends went out to look around the market we weren’t really feeling the food market so we wanted to eat in somewhere. We came across the red which is right by the market by the bridge and the food was great. The cannelloni was our favourite.

Thank you for a great evening I had with my parents! The food was to die for AGAIN and staff were very friendly. The menu has a lot of options for everyone omnivore or vegetarian. I booked a table by calling them earlier the same day. But you can also easily get a table without booking. First we had ”il tagliere salumi misti e formaggi” which was perfect size to share between 2-3 people as a starter, a delicious mix of different meats and cheese. As a main we had one of the daily specials, Pappardelle Al Coniglio, rabbit ragu which came highly recommended by the waiter. A generous portion with plenty of flavour. I hope I will find this dish on the menu again or if not it will definitely be a sweet memory, one for the books. I’ve been taking my friends and family members to this restaurant for years because it has never disappointed. Great place for lunch or dinner. Seafood pastas are also great! Pizzas all of them have been delicious every time. The food is same level or even better than what I’ve had in Naples. But here you always get very friendly service - in Naples not so much! Lol 😄 We all had 3 cocktails, 3 courses and shared 2 bottles of wine, came to 80 pounds pp. Good price for the quality and portion sizes and attentive service. Lots of love to all the staff x

The best Italian food I've tasted anywhere. It was my son's birthday and the staff were lovely and accommodating. There were 8 of us including 2 little children and they were so helpful and supportive.

This restaurant made me feel like I was back in Italy,such an Italian feel to it. The staff were amazing,friendly,polite, the service was 10/10. The food was absolutely delicious, very well presented,large portions,beautiful Italian music playing in the background. We met the owner and his wife, two really nice people,very friendly and we were given 3 Limoncello on the house which was a really nice gesture.We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.10/10

Pizza was amazing, staff were attentive and nice, prices were reasonable, the decor was splendid, tucked away on Notting hill market provides a quaint area for a meal and some chill from the hustle and bustle of the markets. The food was heavenly, freshly made and worth a trip back for. 11/10 very recommended.

The restaurant looks very cute and cosy from the outside which is what caught our eye in the first place. As we arrived for dinner they kept opening the door with the wind blowing on our back… as asked the door to be closed as it was freezing and there was also a little kid next to us. We ordered our food and nobody came to ask us if it was ok…. I assume it’s because they knew it was s**t. The calamari was so chewy I thought I had gum in my mouth…… frozen. Undercooked. Un- edible. The pizza was very mediocre to say the least. It has so much potential because of the location but it sure does have a lot of room for improvement.
