Fantastic seafood pasta and bacon and potato pizza with lovely Spritz

One of the best carbonaras of my life, nothing to envy of those in Rome.

I visited Sapori last Saturday and unfortunately had a disappointing experience. We arrived at 7pmand weren't seated even we hada booking . The food was alright. But the kitchen is too small to handle. Such a disappointing even. One waiting, running all over the place. Can't recommend this place.

Such a great welcome in such a nice Italian joyous atmosphere. The owner himself greeted me and offered a taste of one of his pizzas. Absolutely to die for! I had a great meal which ended up to be an experience in an Italian environment! I will come back asap, cannot wait to taste more of this little corner of Italian delicious food!

yesterday I had dinner with my family, unfortunately it is not even close to Italy, NEVER NEVER, yesterday I ate the most horrible pizza of my life "if pizza can be defined", low quality, completely tasteless but above all completely raw, the service was terrible, I have never seen such a rude and arrogant waiter, I will never return, it is not an Italian pizza restaurant, be wary PLEASE

Pizza's nice but be careful with the main barman there (non Italian) that tries to add additional drinks to your bill and then pressures you to pay by card without showing you the bill first. He knows he can pretend it was an accident if caught but he knows exactly what he is doing.

Great Italian restaurant that me and my best mate went to, had the greatest waiter named Joey, he's recommendations were top point, happy with all the food, we got a Raffo each which is a lovely beer, we got the Gavi Di Gavi which is a lovely white wine, for food we got the Arancini Nduja E Salsiccia and calamari for starters which were both great and then for our main we got Burrata al Tartufo pizza which was the best pizza I've ever had in my entire life, it was banging and lastly for dessert Tiramisu which was so creamy, lovely and good and then Joey recommend Limoncello for a shot which was a great finish to our entire meal here. We got a free Limoncello at the end after paying for the bill which was so awesomesauce.

My mate and I had such an amazing evening here - Joey was the best server and gave us some incredible recommendations on pizza and wine, can’t rate him enough. Calamari and arancini for starters were absolutely brilliant and bursting with flavour. Got the Burrata Al Tartufo to share for a main and it was CLASS, actually incredible, pizza cooked to perfection. We ended with a dessert of tiramisu and limoncello on Joey’s recommendation, again knocking it out of the park. Very reasonably priced considering this is better food than I’ve ever had in any gourmet restaurant, with great service.

Probably the best carbonara I’ve ever had. Went for lunch with my son. No kids menu but he was happy to eat the carbonara. I also had the burrata which was delicious as well. Service was ok but could have been better.

Ordered at 7.30. Showed as ready for delivery 7.45. Rang at 8.30 to say where is it, and I hoped it hadn’t been sitting waiting. It had. Clearly microwaved back to heat. Cardboard crust. Inedible at 8.45 when it finally arrived.

I love this restaurant. Their pizzas are the best. 12" inferno is hot and spicy! None of that pretending to be hot like so many other places. The food is served hot, quickly and with a smile. The staff are really pleasant and engaging. The takeaway is also great. It is not overpriced and good for eating in or having at home.

Absolutely great! I'm an Italian living in London and so far in the past 12 years, I struggled to find a good italian place to dine at woth my friends and family. Ristorante Carola jas been my go to for a few years now and I've mostly ordered from online, however, when I can, I will coke here ti have one of the most authentic italian food experiences you can find in the city. It's my go to and, if you care about food quality and good service, it should be yours as well!!!

Really nice food. Came here with my mum and we shared an 18” inch pizza. The pizza dough was really tasty and the toppings were fresh. The ice cream was also nice and authentic. Very happy, will be returning :)

The one star is for the potato croquettes only , we ordered on delivery a mushroom pizza the croquette and the frutto di calamari , the pizza was disgusting tasted like wet cardboard and the mushrooms were the jarred ones , it felt like we were eating cardboard with snails , in the fritto di calamari they forgot the calamari it was only fried flower , me and my friend felt both sick . I really don’t recommend no one to eat in this place is absolutely disgusting.

Excellent atention. Very delicious food and reasonable price. I recommend spaghetti with Frutti di mare. We had a very good family time.

Quiet night in this unassuming authentic restaurant but would want to return on a weekend to sample the atmosphere. Attentive quick service. Paid attention to food sensitivity and made helpful alternative menu suggestions. Delicious food in generous servings. Terrific coffee. Will return and soon.

Decent Italian restaurant. Service could've been better, it was somewhat slow, and the waiter miscalculated a part of the bill after an uneven split. Which I'm sure he didn't do on purpose, but still. It took us 2.5 hours to get the starter, mains and dessert done. Food was ok, the pizza base was somewhat dense, chewy and burnt in a couple places. The tiramisu had a very soggy bottom and did not taste fresh. The potato croquettes starter was great though, especially the tomato sauce. Average prices.

THE most welcoming place to eat and hang out in the Lee and Blackheath area. The produce they use and the food that they make there is 100% Italian and the best around. It's spoilt me for pizza anywhere else.. Also try the menabrea beer It's gorgeous.

Ordered before no prob. Tonight ordered about 9.30pm. Phone call saying four orders in at once be a delay no prob we say not your fault. Pizzas turn up at 10.40pm cold and worse still completely wrong order. Both spicy and pepperoni neither I eat (I’d ordered creamy ham mushroom calzone). Called to tell them as expect affect others as they’ve prob got our order. Offered 15 per cent refund on next order then 50 per cent on next order. Surely should immediately be offered full refund it’s not what we’ve ordered and I now have no dinner. Won’t be using again which is a shame.

Ordered delivery, food is oversalted, not edible at all

Great food and so reasonably priced for the area, including the wine. I had a goat's cheese salad which was delicious.

The right place to find Italy even in London! The restaurant is small but extremely nice and well-kept, welcoming and perfect to always be the centre of attention of the dining room staff, who are always absolutely courteous and available to satisfy our requests. The quality of the food is excellent, the care with which the dishes are cooked is impeccable and the ingredients are first choice. A note of merit goes to the dessert: a delicious vanilla cream as a filling of an excellent cream puff is the right way to end the evening. A great surprise for those who do not want to give up Italian cuisine, great job!

Best pizza in South East London

Great place and delicious food!

Looking for an enjoyable lunch with family, Italian was chosen and Sappori was recommended. We were given a warm welcome and a comfortable table in the busy restaurant. A full menu gave us so many options… we couldn’t resist ordering starter, main and some cannoli to take away! Everything was scrumptious and the atmosphere of the restaurant was great. Thanks

Best pizza in town. No question!

We had two pizzas to eat in, and we took away the desserts The pizzas were very good, not the classic Napolitain with the big frame, but still cooked in the wood fired oven. The tiramisu was just out of this world, so tasty and delicious. The profitterol was freshly made in the morning, and you could actually taste it! Nice service too, and we will definitely go back again. Thank you

Food was good, authentic, nice 🍕 and pastas, good portions too. the place is quite small and could do with a little tlc. The tables were a little dirty and they have a plastic sheet on top of the tables, which means trapped dirt. also the toilets feel quite shabby. the deserts were a let down, melting ice cream and desserts which look nice but taste a bit stale. sponge cake was too sweet to eat so we left it. but stick with the pizza and pastas and you cant go wrong.

They said it would be delivered within 45 mins. After 55 mins I phoned and they said it had left. I live 0.5 miles from restaurant - a 5 minute walk. After another 5 minutes it arrived - totally cold. Caveat emptor.

We've been going here for years now and even though they've changed the name of the restaurant, and the prices, even though we moved half an hour drive away, we keep coming back here for their pizzas! And the calamari 👌👌 The most authentic pizza ever❤️ And they also welcome dogs 😍

If you order online via Deliveroo it won't arrive for at least 2 hours . Why ? " Because we use our own drivers , not Delveroo's " WHY ??? We use Deliveroo for speed you imbeciles

I celebrated the International Pizza Day at Sapori and that was the best choice of place for my treat. Delicious! Juicy! Wonderful pizza!

Took 2 hours for a pizza to arrive. Cold, tasteless, terrible service.

Sorry guys, but the pizza dough is badly gummy, chewy, not the pizza I like. Other starters are good, such arancini and olive ascolane. If you go you can try asking for the pizza to be well done, maybe the outcome is better, but rush it, if it gets colder it's going to be worse.

Good pizza. No surprises. Bottled beers (no drafts). Service satisfactory.

I am so glad we decided to give this place a chance. We finally have found a proper Italian pizzeria in this area. The place is cosy and warm. Italian vibes all around: Italian music is playing in the background. Plenty of traditional panettone/pandoro is on display. The pizzas were delicious! They have been very generous with the toppings. There are various vegetarian options (Funghi, Vegetariana and Parmigiana Pizza). Some can go vegan. You just need to order a base of Marinara + veggies of your choice. I don't remember if there is an option for vegan cheese. I will check next time. We will definitely visit you again ☺️

I rated another place with a similar name 5 stars in Bosnia. But I’ve never been there! Lol. Anyway, this place is great really authentic Cody Italian restaurant with amazing pasta and friendly polite staff and great pizza too !!! Eccellente!!! 😊

Moved to London a year ago and tend to usually grab a Pizza Hut when I’m craving pizza, this usually makes me feel full and heavy. I wanted to give this local spot a try as I love trying new things. I ordered just a really simple marinara pizza and it was just amazing so light and crusty don’t feel heavy or anything pizza craving fully satisfied. 😮‍💨

One of the best pizzas in London and I have tried quite few. Their base is unparalleled to any other pizzeria.

Ate at the restaurant and ordered a tartufo burrata pizza and the vegetarian panini. Both were very very good and the staff were very nice. Definitely coming back here.

Unfortunately despite google stating they are open from 5pm on Mondays (updated by the business themselves), their website states different with no clear open times or details on the website either. It's not that difficult to update a few details on google to make sure they are accurate and correct!

Echt geweldige Pizza's met verse ingrediënten en uit de houtoven. Ook de risotto en de desserts waren uitstekend. Alles homemade. En super vriendelijk en vakkundig personeel. Een aanrader voor als je in de buurt bent.

Terrible, rude, aggressive poor customer service. Do not use on any of the delivery services as clearly they don't like going out in the rain, up the stairs or using a map. Steer clear at all cost

After 1h waiting I get a rubbery pizza dough with tomato sauce, little cheese and filling in general, better to buy a frozen pizza from the market

Great food very reasonably priced

I ordered pizza tonight from here and I was very disappointed. The pizzas were soggy or raw, I had to threw away them, now i am going to order from somewhere else. Avoid!

Stumbled upon this place during covid lockdown as a grab and go for coffee & pastries but noticed they had a small outside area for dining. Definitely worth going back - pizzas are delicious, especially the doughy but crispy base and good quality ingredients on the toppings. They recently formalised their outside dining space with a retractable roof, windows and heaters so it’s perfect for all year round dining. In addition to the pizza they have some daily specials including different pasta, ricotta dishes. Friendly service with a very homely feel. They are opening a restaurant in Sidcup shortly which we hope to check out too!

The best food I’ve had outside of Italy! We had their panini, which was so fresh, delicious and really big. 😋 Their selection of mini dessert was really good too. I’ve looking for a good profiteroles (custard choux)and I found it here! I’m so happy we found this place to have this place in our neighborhood!

They have added an extension, they now have a large beautiful eating area. Another one of London' rare, perfect, family-run and loved, restaurants. This is my regular option, the pizza base is perfect, like food, drink and the people who work here. A must-try, even if it's take out! Highly recommended.

One of the best pizza restaurants in London, very friendly staff, highly recommended if you like pizza and Italian desserts. Their pizza is cooked with real fire in a special oven. They don't have a lot of space, make sure you book a table. Food to go is very quick. My son loves it.

At first, I thought this place has the best pizza in the neighborhood, but later I realized they have the best pizza in London. I mean it. Important bonus for me is that their dough is one of the healthiest options among types of dough. Try the desserts too - tiramisu is just second to none, ideal combination of moisture and sweetness. The service is amazing. Thank you for being there for us!

Sapori D Italia is my favourite take away in the local area. The pizzas are another level...and desserts too!! When I order the arancini make me feel like I am in Italy again. I cant recommend this restaurant highly enough...just so lucky to have this just around the corner !!!!!!
