What lovely little find whilst working locally today. The Arancini was the best I’ve had outside of Italia. The Chicken Escalope Sandwich was perfect. Also has a lovely array of Italia goods to purchase 10/10 from me

Two new girls working when I bought some Parma ham and a sandwich for takeaway a couple of days days ago. The regular staff put more meat in the sandwich for a start (my sandwich seemed to be mostly bread) and today I opened the Parma ham and found slimy black bits in it. Usually the ham is packed nicely in the paper after it is sliced but the new girl just lumped it all together and didn’t cover it up. I have eaten some of the ham. Then discovered the black bits which I hope is not mould.

As italian i found a little piece of heaven here! This tiny delicatessen has all you need, you can find panini, all the classic and more italian brand for everything, for the salumeria they preper fresh cut of all you need. love it!

Fantastic sandwiches for lunch at very reasonable prices. Would highly recommend! There's often a queue but it is always worth the wait. Highly recommend the Arancini and their sweet pastries too!

Incredible value and very fresh food. They make the sandwiches to order. There is often a queue out the door at lunchtime, which is always a good sign! You can also get coffee and Italian grocery items.

The food is a 5, the atmosphere is chachi but the service is a 10, Yami is the best of the salumeria. Attentive, friendly!!!!! It is a wonder!!!! We will return for it without a doubt!!!!

Huge disappointment. Made the effort of calling to check stock, said I’d come straight over to collect. Made the 45min journey, paid for parking, then told on arrival that they had been sold. No care whatsoever that they had wasted all that effort. Never returning. Not that they would care in the slightest, I’m sure.

Huge selection of cheese and meat, Italian pasta and biscuits. Too much to list and describe. Highly recommended.

Fantastic ciabatta, really reasonable and so tasty. Can’t believe haven’t been there before! A true neighbourhood gem.

Do not miss the grilled bacon, sausage, & egg toasted sandwich here, it’s exceptional! Arancini and cannoli were excellent as well. Friendly people, great service, highly recommend

A great gem for well-priced and filling sandwiches. Only £3.80 for a feta, tomato and olive toasted focaccia. There are so many options to choose from which made it even harder! So many veggie/cheese combinations. The spinach arancini is also divine.

The best sandwiches you will find in this borough. Made fresh, can choose any ingredients in the shop to go in your sandwich. Endless delicious possibilities.

Traditional Italian deli, well stocked and delivered with a smile. Lots of ingredients my Nonna used to have to trek half way across London to get, now on my doorstep. Delicious ciabattas/paninis, allow you to customise also.

they dare selling inedible food at exorbitant prices the arancini were as hard as stone and cold like ice, is it not commong knowledge that they should be served hot out of the fryer?

Absolutely fantastic value and really friendly, lovely staff. I got a toasted ciabatta which was absolutely delicious and was amazing price, whilst it wasn’t huge it was very satisfying and great value for the quality. I also had a cup of proper beautiful strong Italian coffee and the cheapest I’ve had in London! Would highly recommend this amazing deli, they had so much high quality produce at fantastic value.

I flew in from New York and was looking for this particular Italian sausages and this was the only place I could find them and the atmosphere was a vibe it’s reminded me of Italy when ever I’m around I’ll go back again

Cute little italian shop. It is nice to have one in the neighbourhood. Good quality products. Only 3 stars for me because the customer service is not there. The first time I went I thought it may be a bad day but then the two other times I still found the people rude. A smile would make a huge difference.

Lots of offerings here, been twice now, love the arancini and meat options especially!!

I paid £6.70 for one panini and 2 arancini. The arancini were old and smelling bad and the panino was dry which supposed to be fluffy for the oil. I am Italian and this is not italian food.

I love this place! They have an amazing lasagna, pasta and sandwiches. Staff are very nice and helpful.

The toasted sandwiches are great value, with amazing meats that are sliced in front of you. The lasagna is also amazing, and they have a wide selection of imported Italian pastas, sauces etc. Staff are all really friendly - One of the best things about living in the area!

One of my rare 5stars!! Italians in Greenwich, this shop is a MUST!!! As well to the UK friends I would say to find there the real taste of the Majonese Calve', the panna cotta in different tastes, good pasta sauces, several quality of pasta, Fabbri cherries, so many kind of biscuits and even the cooked dishes are really italian..so enjoy the ARANCINI RICE BALLS/CONE.....and tipical italian pastries: everything at a reasonnable price,not inflated!! Go find there the Quality of our sausages(100% good pork meat, no added things!!)..3 kinds(black pepper,fennel seeds and another one,all good!!)!!!..cook them like this: pinch with a fork TWICE each sausage and boil it, when cooked cut in 2 and it goes on the grill with your hamburgers for the BBQ, ENJOYY and HAPPY SUMMER SUNDAYS!!!

Once a month we treat ourselves go here, spend too much, but it's always worth it. Everything is of a high quality

I stumbled across La Salumeria on my daily walk and what an amazing treat to come across. It's so great to see such a lovely local place managing to stay open in these strange times (but of course taking the necessary precautions!) I bought a couple of Arancini's (which were DELISH), some beautiful Sfogliatella (I think that's what they were) and some Tarallini :) Will be coming back.

This restaurant it’s very amazingly great 👍 place to finding all the best great 👍 products for Italy and amazingly freshly home 🏠 made Italian food to serve to their customers at anytime. Also they can do delivery at our door step by calling to them and asking for delivery. Also they have someone fresh veggies and fruits too it’s all Italian producers. The menu it’s amazing the deli it’s great 👍 with Italian deserts and Italian dishes very yummy yummy 😋 it’s a dream food 🥘 from heaven !!! I love 💕 all staffs and the owners who’s amazing people’s friendly & helpful they are dogs 🐕 friendly too.

I am amazed how few reviews this place has received. They offer a wide range of food options - all healthy, and all very cheap! The food is made fresh in front of you, and they also offer a plethora of italian foods and drinks for you to take home and cook yourself. The service is very friendly and the owner is most considerate. This will be one of the mainstays of greenwich without question, provided the footfall keeps coming of course!! I would consider leaflets just once with an offer as I feel not enough people know about this place, and for sure they would keep coming back as we do if they did!!

This is a nice place where you can buy nice Italian food or sit down for a coffee. A bit pricy and unfortunately you can only pay by cash.

Refurbished a couple of years back la Salumeria has gone from strength to strength. Fresh baked breads, pastas and pastries. Wonderful hams and cheeses sliced as you wait. A really great selection of Italian foods and wines. At the back of the shop is a small eating area where fresh coffee, panini and deserts can be eaten. The quality of the food is very high. Home cooked Italian recipies. I can’t say for sure but it certainly feels like a family run place, great welcome and warm friendly atmosphere. This is one of the food highlights of the area.

My sister and niece, who were visiting from abroad, popped into La Salumeria to grab coffee. They clearly looked like tourists with broken English. After paying in cash they were given all change in old £10, £5 notes and old one pound coins. The old notes and one pound coins are not legal tender and cannot be used any more. As a result, they were turned down in a nearby shop, could not top up their oysters and were literally stranded without any cash.. Given that all the notes and coins were old and the time passed since they went out of circulation, it doesn't look like an honest mistake. Being local in the area it is a real shame to see such cynical behavior.

Good quality shop but the card reader machine has been broken for more than 3 months now and still not in use. In most occasions, because I have to pull out cash from the ATM, I decide not to buy from the shop and go somewhere else for lunch. Such a shame really.

A family-run deli with a good, old fashioned Italian feel. Great food, though I do miss the great dishes of Tiramisu you used to be able to buy takeaway pots of. Coffee's good.

This place is great to get a customised sandwich or Ciabatta. I don't know any other places that offer you so many options, though they will help you with recommendations. Has a charming "La vita e bella" vibe to it and the staff are genuinely friendly and attentive. Very affordable rates.

Popped in on daughters recommendation for a couple of sandwiches. Parma ham, mozzarella and sun dried tomato and a ham and emmenthal both on good bread, well filled. These plus two upmarket soft drinks and an Italian custard tart a very reasonable £9.50. There is a good selection of deli products and you can sit in and eat if you like. Very friendly owner, would consider a sit in panini next visit. Nice to have in the neighbourhood

Very nice place and kind owners. Exactly like the salumeria in my home town in Italy. I pop there every week end to buy good stuff, have a nice SAICAF coffe and spend some time chatting.

Packaged food good, 'fresh food' very disappointing. Perhaps the owners need to check their stock more often and throw out everything that isn't fresh or up to standard.

Nice, competent, friendly service, great quality products and...they slice my ham, Parma ham, Serrano and mortadella wafer thin, the way we like it at home, it's so rare to see it done properly these days, they do it to a tee. Lovely bread of Puglia as well, pasta, several panini to go, they also have a wide range of other typical Italian grocery products and...sadly they don't have sfogliatini anymore, please bring them back!!!

Realmente una delicatessen con buena comida y una buena selección de productos secos italiano, pasta, y así sucesivamente. Sin embargo, lo hemos probado a comer en varias ocasiones y nunca terminó bien. La zona de estar en la parte de atrás es muy pequeño, no tiene ventanas tiene terribles y acústica. También parece ser una especie de guardería no oficial, con cada deliciosos aromas del The mummy en Greenwich permitir que su valioso poco uno de absolutamente funcione. Una pequeña particularmente bratty en realidad recogido un elemento de nuestra mesa y caminamos lejos! Nos quejamos con el padre y sólo dijo que "es sólo un niño." El personal simplemente ignorar el problema. Aun así nos vamos a comprar comida para llevar, y es raro ocasión vas allí y no hay una especie de caos en la parte de atrás.

Buena deli italiano - una amplia gama de productos. También alguna comida para llevar. Tienen un par de mesas en la parte de atrás, pero nunca he comido allí.

i always wanted to visit this deli when I lived nearby but never managed to do so! Today however I got my chance! I had a chicken, mozzarella and pesto ciabatta. Very tasty and served by friendly knowledgeable staff. The deli is well stocked and there is a small cafe are behind. Well worth the wait.

I absolutely love this place, a combination of mini market with cafe. Their paninis are great and the assortment of food to buy you wont find in any supermarket.

This cute little deli has everything you could possibly need for a delicious dinner party. The quality of their deli meats is defiantly worth the price. The paninis made on order are also delicious and perfect for takeaway. The one thing you have to get is the homemade pesto!

La Salumeria has a nice variety of Italian grocery products. It is affordable and the staff is friendly. Ready meals in portions are available (Lasagne, Parmesan Aubergines etc..) and typical southern Italy sweets are there. Their olive oil is very good quality and at a good price). We also find soft drinks that are typical in Italy like Chinotto and Bitter Orange juice.
