Sapore D' Italia in St Albans

I’ve been to Italy, and that was better. Balanced toppings on a thin bread with a charred crust. Unreal lad and for the price core blimey, one word for you BARGIN

Was looking forward to ordering from here after reading rave reviews. Pizza arrived much quicker than expected. Ordered wedges and side salad - both came with no sauce. When I contacted the driver, she said they had run out of barbecue sauce. Could not eat dry wedges without sauce so thus was wasted. The actual pizzas were just OK and arrived cold. Will not be ordering here again. Have tasted better pizza at Costco! I certainly hope this was a blip and that standards do not continue to drop.

My good was yummy! I ordered the be Bechamel pasta and the bruschetta, which were both very tasty and well made and the price and quality were spot on. I ordered a tub of ice cream for me and my boyfriend to share as well, which we didn’t get our exact choice, but the guy from the restaurant came with four other options of ice cream for us to pick, literally on our door step. That’s how you deliver great customer service. I’ve never had a bad experience with this place and they’ve always come through when there was a problem. Once, I ordered a tiramisu (yummy by the way, I recommend it) and it didn’t come with my order, but the guy (same guy!) came back an hour later to drop it off at no extra charge. You can tell it’s a family run business that really care about their service and quality of food. Thanks again 😊

We stayed in St Albans thus week and we ordered takeaway Pizza from Sapore D Italia. We ordered our food and 40 mins later it arrived hot and the pizzas were delicious.

We tried them for the first time last night with a takeaway, absolutely loved the thinnest crust ever. My only mistake was ordering the 10” rather than a bigger size, I won’t make that mistake again The delivery arrived on time and hot Thanks, we will be seeing you again very soon
