Haven't been to this restaurant for a takeaway for quite a while due to multiple disappointing takeaways. Went here this time due to little other option for the item wanted (calzone). My partner likes the garlic breads a lot from this place. I live a 5 minute walk from this restaurant, yet when delivered (late) the inside of my calzone was stone cold. Attempted to contact restaurant directly (no answer) and through Uber app who palmed it back off to me having to try contact the restaurant. Rest of food ok, but multiple problems now.

This place doesn’t look like much from the outside. In fact, we couldn’t tell what type of restaurant it was from the outside, and weren’t entirely sure it was open until we saw the small sign in the window saying open. But don’t let this put you off. Inside the decor is lovely. We asked to see the menu and only then realised this was an aunt loan restaurant. The menu had lots of options including for vegetarians so we decided to eat here. The food was really good. The starter and mains we had were served in generous portions. The food quality was brilliant. Couldn’t fault it at all. We had the house wine which was nice and very well priced. The service was brilliant. Two front of house staff (which was plenty for this small restaurant) and they were friendly, helpful and attentive. They chatted to the customers in a friendly and professional way. They clearly knew what they were doing and worked well together to ensure all tables were served quickly. Overall we paid £43 for two starters, two mains and a bottle of wine. The food was really good. I would definitely recommend this place.

Never - never again.... no baby change forced to change my baby on the floor in the men's toilet. The food was OK but thats all. The staff avoided asking if my food was OK as the knew I wasn't happy to deal with a crying child on a urine smelly tiled floor.

Quiet when we arrived on a Friday evening, staff friendly and welcoming. We enjoyed starters of prawn cocktail, potato skins and halloumi. Mains of Quattro staggione and chicken Kiev pizza and mushroom risotto. All piping hot, freshly made and delicious. Busy by the time we left. Reasonably priced. Recommended

Ordered Meaty, pepperoni and tomato/garlic pizzas, garlic and arabiatta mussels, lasagne and spaghetti...... Unreal!!! The food is so good even after a delivery transit of around 3 mile on a busy night. Too much food ensured an evening meal the following night. Excellent value for money and the food is so good, compliments to the kitchen! Can't wait to order again x

We visited on a Friday evening for food before seeing a show at the empire, the atmosphere was great and the staff were extremely friendly! We had 4 meals and all the food was red hot, delicious and very good portion sizes , my husband left his glasses on the table that evening, I rang back and they confirmed they were there and with us being a 3hr drive away, they offered to post them out to us! Absolutely amazing service, I would not hesitate to return next time we are in Sunderland

Went to martinos seaburn with my family and the owners we obviously in walking around dressed like scruffs and pulling the staff aside every 2 minutes! Staff were doing a great job but the owners made us and other feel uncomfortable the way they were going on. Put us right off and will never be back. Food was spot on just owners thinking they are big time dressed like drug dealers

Visited Keel Tavern for lunch over the weekend. The place is stylish and feels very upmarket. The staff were friendly, helpful and attentive. I ordered the pie, chips and peas. There were a variety of pies but I opted for the mince, Guinness and onion pie. The pie was absolutely delicious, bursting with flavour and complimented nicely with the gravy that accompanied the meal. The chips were tasty and the peas were fresh. This place is certainly worth a visit, meals were well priced for what you get and very filling.

The whipped large ice creams in plain cones were tasteless & in my opinion overpriced due to this. I’d not recommend it for a whipped ice cream. Save your money. There are better quality ice creams in and around for £2.50.
