Sanjugo Angel in Islington

Came here for lunch and had the chicken katsu curry don (£11) with the hijiki rice upgrade (£1.80). Both were very nice and varied. Service was great. Service charge of 12.5% was automatically added. I would visit again.

We really enjoyed our dinner. The service was friendly and very efficient all staff seemed happy and attentive. The food we had was yummy. We tried a bit of everything and on top we had a free dessert. We definitely will come back.

Food tastes okay but if you order 4 dishes, one per person, every dish comes out on their own speed so by the time the last person gets their dish, the first person is finished with theirs unless they wait till their food gets cold. I wouldnt recommend it for a group dining place

Outstanding food. The best tempura I have ever eaten, and high quality sushi. Lots of choice on the menu which helps when bringing children, and fantastic service. Will come back!

One of my favourite Japanese places to eat in London. I am a regular. I like the vibe and the food is fresh. The only constructive feedback I could give would be for the waiters to be a bit less rigid. You almost never get a smile so at times I feel like I bother them when I ask for something but other that great it’s a thumbs up for me and I will return.

Average food. The waiter said the discretionary service charge was mandatory when it clearly said it was discretionary on the receipt. He put us in a lock with paying the service charge and claimed that that’s how they fund their staffing. He also cheated us on the dessert and brought us two different sets. Horrible service by the head waiter.

Came for a Friday night meal, arrived at 6:30pm to an almost empty restaurant but it rapidly filled up around us. We had excellent maki rolls, especially the prawn and the spicy tuna. The octopus balls and chicken dumplings were also lovely. We’ll be back!
