Different food from last order,spear ribs dry and no source, special curry more pies than a Sunday dinner, source thinking with cooking flower, stodgy,not nice.

This is one of the best Chinese takeaways I have ever ordered from. The food is sensational, fresh and delicious. We get it every week. Usually sweet and sour chicken and four seasons with chips and curry sauce. The chips are amazing in themselves 👏

i have come to sang lung for a long time and their food has been amazing every time , love their egg friend rice especially !

i ordered a week or so ago and all i can say is i am so impressed with it , the prices are good, the food comes nice and warm, amd the people over the phone are so nice , my 2 boys loved their salt and pepper box i would definately recommend !!

Absolutely incredible food, I really enjoyed this meal. Big portions and a real taste explosion. The peking spare ribs and the duck chow mein were outstanding, one of the best iv had in a while. I’d highly recommend these guys

I just ordered on Uber eats for delivery but couldn’t find anywhere to write a review. The food came and it was really nice, hot and big portion sizes. Well worth the money! Would definitely recommend and come back.

Ordered fir delivery, arrived when she said it would food wad piping hot! Great tasting curry nit watery or bland, star of the show was the ribs would recommend and will be back

Disgusting food ordered egg fried rice chips and curry the rice was like rubber and never seen an egg chips was crozzled and dry never go again

Timely, Tidy and Tasty! With the duck fried rice I like how they place the duck on top of the rice neatly sliced up. So you can see you're getting plenty 😋

Absolutely shocking, dont order the dumpling. I had to dump mine. Pale, smelled really awful . Tried half of one then dumped.smelled off sweaty feet also the sauce was a tiny carton half full. Shredded beef wasdry hardly any sauce so hard to swallow. Can i get my cash back for the dumpling cos damn they was not fit for human consumption

By far the most delicious Chinese takeaway in Sheffield. I would highly recommend the Spicy King Prawn Singapore style friend rice, it gives a taste of home and absolutely delicious. Most importantly it's very affordable and their portions are incredibly generous with, overall this is a place is definitely worth a try and price worthy !

Was the best Chinese in Sheffield at one time now everything is bland curry sauce used to be brilliant now very bland seem to be using cheap ingredients & charging big prices not getting my money anymore

Whilst their food is normally great (No complaints with the food at all) they have increased their prices quite a bit recently, and have also put the spend price up to £45 to get their free hot combination box. It was bad enough when it went up to £40 (was at £35 not long ago), but putting that up to £45 is way too much. When I am spending £40 I'd certainly expect their free hot combination box. I was a regular customer for many years at Sang Lung, so its such a shame. Sorry but you have now lost my custom forever. What a shame, it really is, but there's only so much price increases I will take. Such a shame as it was one of my favourite Chinese food takeaways in Sheffield. Ah well, another one off the list I'm afraid.....

Poor The sweet and sour sauce just tastes weird … the chicken balls are vile and overly big. Prawn toast way to thick and gooey and the chicken curry, too thick on the sauce and again just tastes odd …

never had tofu so crispy, well seasoned, and delicious until I went to Sang Lung. spring rolls and wontons were also amazing, even the sweet chilli sauce was next level

Food never came cos delivery driver couldn't follow directions

Firstly I found a fly in my food, not the end of the world I picked it out. Really disappointing meal tonight, the chicken was of such poor quality I chucked the entire meal in the bin! Usually not bad here. I don’t know what else to say.

Awful! This Chinese take away used to be the best in Sheffield but I don’t know what’s happened??? Chow mein was bland with no flavour whatsoever and other dishes tasted funny. Disappointed..

We have been coming to Sang Lung for over 15 years and although there has been at least two different owners, the meals have always been brilliant and consistent. We are a fussy vegi household and they always accommodate our requests. I can count on one hand the amount of incorrect ordered in all these years. The bean curd/tofu selection is great and they will happily adjust any item so the menu (eg change of noodle to make gluten free etc) so the menu for people with different dietary requests is actually much broader than it seems. No where as good in the S6 area!

Quality Chinese takeaway, fresh and not greasy, ready 20 minutes after booking online. Recommend crispy beef, Singapore rice, squid dishes.

Ordered a takeaway not to bad till I opened special chow mien should have pork beef chicken and king prawn. No beef and the smallest prawn ever. Last straw never again

Never using these again. Order at 7.01pm. got told 90mins. Phoned them back 2hrs later to get told another half hour. Phoned Back 40kins later and got told 10mins. So after 3 hours the food never arrived...

Best meal in hillsbrough you got to try this place

We have been going to Sang lung for a couple of years now after moving into the area. Our friends who are also within walking distance recommended it to us and I am so glad. Sometimes with takeaways you can have hit and miss with the same place but not this one! Such a consistent high standard of takeaway Chinese food, full of flavour, lots of options and friendly staff. Looking forward to having one again tonight!

Lovely staff, very organised and clean with COVID precautions. The salt and pepper chips are sensational I can't praise them enough. Wonderful flavours, you can't go wrong with anything on the menu.

Food arrived quicker than time stated . Big portions very warm. But very bland and tastless the meat was very tough and chewy. My opinion is that English people are running and cooking in the takeaway which shows though the way the food is cooked . I buy Chinese food for it to taste Chinese not bland like it was . Id compare it to the takeaway boxes you can buy from supermarkets. Overall it wasn't the worst but certainly wouldn't order from there again .

Iv ordered from sang lung for the last five years there food is awesome always on time and hot I always order Singapore fried rice and salt and pepper ribs the last two times I’ve ordered the rice dish is very strange taste powdery and clumpped together I don’t know whether the curry spice they put in as changed but it just doesn’t taste right and is very bright yellow

Used to be excellent but just had the toughest salt and pepper squid I've ever eaten. Really hope this place gets back to how it used to be

A very good place for food, it's not too greasy and food is fresh and hot when it arrives, they usually busy so had to wait 1 hour for delivery but not complaining as it's top quality. Very polite staff, proud to be regulars. :)

We always order from this Chinese take away, never been disappointed. Very warm food on arrival.

Once an outstanding takeaway now sadly on the decline the special curry was very watery packed with onions and very little else, the customer service also on the decline. Tried on more than three other occasions in the hope of improvement.

The food was absolutely gorgeous. When it arrived it was hot and the woman delivering it was very friendly. Only 10 minutes late however the delivery time said around 6:10 and it came at 6:20- so it was around 6:10. Definitely recommend.

Delivered on time, not the best I've had a bit bland

The free complimentary prawn crackers were the best thing... The kung po sauce was nothing but sweet&sour sauce and a couple of chilli bits chucked in! To make matters worse the king prawns were battered and disgustingly soggy. Last time ill be ordering from them, yuck!

Be warned. Free bits like prawn crackers are not applicable when ordering through Just Eat.

Ordered prawn crackers didnt come with order, rang up & was told they would be sent out they wasnt so rang back they still not been sent our food was cold because we waited for the prawn crackers. Always order from here never again.

After ringing the restaurant to be greeted by someone on the phone that had an attitude to be told that my order was going to be even later then it already was. The food was also very bland. Not a very good overall experience

The food arrived piping hot and was of a decent quality. Didn’t get any free prawn crackers and the £3 delivery charge is obscene! Took them an hour and half to get my food to me too. It’s a 5 min drive.

Despite spending £40 we were told the promotions including free crackers for orders over £10 were not available on just eat. I’d accept that if we spent just over £10, but £40..! In addition despite ordering nearly 3 hours in advance it was still actually late. Save your money, get some cash out and go to golden city - certainly regretting not bothering to go to the cash machine!

the food is lovely but we ordered at 7:30 and didn’t get delivered till 9:30, we were originally promised 8:30 and when we rang up we were greeted with rude customer service that claimed the pick up time to be 9:10 despite the app saying 8:30. Once we had then checked the app we realised that they changed the time to 9:10 even though it was not that to begin with. Then we rang a second time at 9:10 where they claimed to have the food on the way. However we did not receive the food until 9:30, 2 hours after we ordered. Despite the rude customer service the food was nice but we were only 5 minutes down the road and they gave us an ultimatum to cancel when we complained about how long it would be so their customer service could definitely be improved on

Ordered from here a few times and food is good. Last night however it took about an hour and a half to come. I I understand a delay if it’s busy, but then one of the main items of our order was missing. After phoning up I asked if they would send it, to which they said it would be another 20 minutes. it finally came after half an hour.

Never had a bad meal here, reasonably priced and great food. Definitely one to try!
