Sandwich and Co. in Newham

Un colega y yo organizamos estratégicamente un día en la oficina para poder ir a la nueva tienda Sandwich Sandwich en Londres. La cola era enorme, pero se movía bastante rápido y el personal regularmente salía para actualizarnos y darnos la opción de recoger artículos listos hechos de las neveras bien surtidas. Bueno, llegamos al principio de la cola frente al mostrador de delicatessen más impresionante que he visto. Increíbles selecciones, un personal encantador, cálido y amable que no teme tener bromas mientras compilan los sándwiches monstruosos juntos. Fue una experiencia agradable. Opté por el crujiente de atún y el malvavisco y Nutella Cronut. El bocadillo sabía tan bien como estéticamente agradable, era el peso de un bebé recién nacido! Mantuve el cronut y lo tuve más tarde en la noche y WOW, que gran combinación de sabores y texturas. 8 horas después y todavía sabía tan bien como se acababa de hacer. Me encanta este lugar y voy a correr la voz a lo largo y ancho! ¡Gracias por hacer que nuestra experiencia a la hora del almuerzo sea tan buena!

What a terrible service. Taking 12 minutes to make 2 sandwiches. Girl at the till literally saying she is going to go because she is tired. Worst service I have ever had in the Uk for anything related to food

Yes it’s expensive, but so is everything here. The sandwich was decent and the server was very friendly. I honestly haven’t had better service during my entire time in London. I returned the next day and it was equally as good. Great place to pick up a sandwich while at an event in Excel.

Stopped here for a quick breakfast sandwich on our way through the Excel and was shocked at the food that was handed to us. We doubled up our meal on the understanding that meant 3 rashers of bacon followed with an egg in a breakfast roll. We watch in disbelief as the lady behind the counter served us a sandwich comprising of 2 slices of dry bread (no butter), a single rasher of overcooked bacon and an egg that was literally like rubber. I hope the image speaks for itself and cost £7 each!!!

The sandwiches here are seriously overpriced, I paid £10.50 for half a baguette with a can of coke. The service was very slow, staff didn't seem to be working efficiently together at all, they couldn't answer questions about the food they were serving - quite shocking really. We only visited because it was the only place with no queue, now I know why.

I bought my lunch here for a couple of days whilst attending a Star Trek convention at the EdExcel Centre. I opted for this smaller place as it wasn't attracting the same queues as the larger venue directly outside the entrance to our section. I only bought a tuna sandwich, water and a chocolate bar each time so can't comment on the hot sandwiches available which I'd imagine is their main selling point. The prices seemed very high (but no higher than the other venues nearby) - a combination of being in London and having a captive audience at the Centre I'd imagine. The sandwich was quite simply a mediocre tuna sweetcorn sandwich. No complaints and no specific praise. There isn't any specific seating attached to this venue but I found a seat elsewhere.
