I’ve Been coming here for the last 2 years. Darren, Jo and Guy are the friendliest people you will meet. Always Exceptional service and absolutely amazing food! Would highly recommend to anyone! (going to miss you guys on my new venture)

Great deli super choice of vegan vegi’ and omnivore dishes super friendly service. They looked after my breakfasts and lunches for three weeks whilst I worked in Bournemouth and I never had the same meal twice. Wish I had a Sands2 near our office👍

Average food. Ive ate from here multiple times and have yet to be blown away by the food. Its nice but I'm looking for something that packs a tasty punch. Service is very slow but staff are okay and approachable. I'll still give this place a few more tries but not my go to

People working there are cold as their food is. You can "preorder" your food, but you'll still have to wait 20m inside for your order. Made from frozen products and you can taste it. You can cyt tension there with a knife and be sure if you say good morning, no one will reply. If you want a sandwich and are willing to wait, they are still not the worst you'll ever have (and anything is better than a meal deal from supermarket), but be sure to google Aroma Cafe first. Update: Recently a lot have chenged, and surly for better, the more often you use their service the more friendly stuff become! And thank to that food taste better as well

Wouldn’t go again I’ve been twice now and they are the cheapest sausages I’ve tasted and not the nicest service from the lady in the shop, very abrupt and quite rude. This is not a fake review I have been working in Bournmouth for the last 6 months and have used this twice. I’m assuming the person replying Tk the review is the rude lady from the shop! This is my honest review of your shop I’m sorry if it offends but hopefully you learn from it.

Consistently delicious food and the best service in town with Jo, Guy and the team. I would recommend this gem of a sandwich bar time and time again. The vegetarian offerings, freshness of food and tailor made lunches cannot be beaten - I just wish I lived closer! Best coffee in town too.

I've been a patron of the shop for over 10 years and service has always been spot-on. All members of staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating to those from all walks of life, and it's definitely the place to go for some breakfast and lunchtime grub for not too much money. There's a wide selection of food fillings to choose from, either as a panini, sandwich, baguette, wrap or something else, and they won't shy away from making something custom for you if you wish. They have a running special board that changes each week, usually with two things that are each either a baguette, wrap or panini, so if you become a regular I would keep an eye on that! My favourite is definitely the sweet chilli chicken goujon wrap - I wish it was on more regularly! I personally don't have any dietary requirements other than some mild lactose intolerance, though I am aware from friends and family that if you do have anything more serious than this, Sands will be more than happy to accommodate and provide you with suitable alternatives while making your food in a non-contaminated area if needs be, which is a good thing to see. All in all, a really good sandwich shop and I highly recommend anyone in and around the Bournemouth town centre to check them out. :)

Absolutely superb delivery driver polite and courteous The sandwiches were superbly fresh the vegan ones came separately egg mayonnaise and marmite my favourite First class service from Darren and Joe Delivery Driver Guy was superbly courteous and even stopped to help an old lady cross the busy road outside our office These guys go above and beyond shame not open the weekend

This is just the best establishment for fresh, quality and innovative lunch with great service and all made-to-order. Their specials are always amazing including the chicken and cheese panini with sriracha mayo, rocket and jalapenos....it is a true taste sensation, and excites me everytime I see it on their menu! This week their tandoori special panini surpassed this. A really friendly team whom I look forward to chatting with everytime I pop in. You won't be disappointed!

The van driver was ignorant and used abusive language when he ignored road signs. Not a good advertisement for the shop. I won’t use the shop again.

Calling themselves 'vegan friendly' and yet every single item on the menu contains abused and exploited non human animals. With a couple of pathetic 'plant based' options that have been contaminated with death and misery of the innocent, all for human pleasure. So many dairy products and yet this place is run mainly by women, I wish you'd look into how dairy is procured, it's the most anti feminist industry. All the stupid labels such as 'local produce', 'family run', 'organic', 'grassfed' do absolutely nothing for the animals.

Stopped by this little gem today for two chicken and bacon baps. Was great value and enjoyed scoffing them down on the beach.

Best sandwich bar in Bournemouth/Boscombe area. Incredibly quick service considering the number of clients. Incredibly delicious selection of vegan options. Would love to see vegan cheese offered with the potatoes or sandwiches. Brilliant approach to hygiene, with gloves, clean surfaces etc. Very reasonable prices too, can't go wrong!

Jo and her team prepared 5 platters of sandwiches for a family funeral recently. The quality and variety were great. They were fresh and appetizing, with a platter for the vegan contingent. Arranged delivery was prompt and courteous. Excellent .

My food hasnt turned up and it says its been delivered

I was happy with the food but the phone number on the receipt is someone else's number, every time I order something via Just Eat. My phone number is correct on my profile - someone should finally open their eyes.....

Absolutely incredible sandwiches, high quality ingredients and very welcoming. The lady who runs the place is so friendly and gives off the most wholesome mum vibes, like every sandwich is made with love. Very reasonably priced too for such great food. Ten out of ten would reccomend.

The driver didn't turn up, tried to call the order number wouldn't connect called the just eat number online and was hung up on then the girl I eventually got through to said there was nothing they could do to help and wouldn't redeliver. The order was returned to the restaurant yet marked as delivered because they couldn't find the address. The restaurant made a complaint too. I would like a full refund for this.

Perfection on every level, Sands are the dons!

Delivery driver was incredibly rude and aggressive. He wouldn't hand the order over. He didn't ring or come down to the office as instructed in the notes. I also saw him drive past the address when the track my order said he was outside. Very Poor.

Just stopped by on a recommendation. Was talked through the two speacialsone and went for the breaded chicken goujons with slaw, cheese and a fressh tomato sauce. All I can say is it hit the spot, I was ravenous and what a great flavoursome and nourishing post surf meal. With big eyes I also went for a flapjack, can't manage that fully but the nibble I had was soft and tasty. Oh and great coffee and service with a smile, thank you.

Lovely food and friendly service every time. As most businesses have been affected by Covid19 its awesome to see them re-open. Keep up the great work! Highly recommended as their food always gives us a happy meal time.

This is the best sandwich cafe in Bournemouth by far. I go everyday and its always brilliant and served to you with a smile. The breakfast eggs are better then anywhere else. Not sure what were id be without Sands, apart from thinner.

If you offer a gluten free option ... you must not allow even a crumb of bread to mix with other fillings .. i witnessed cross contamination on tuesday 25th sept with salad tongs rested on a bread boad .. this is poisonous to a coeliac!! i went away hungry

First time eating here. I tried the BBQ chicken panini and it was absolutely delicious. Made fresh by really pleasant staff. Will definitely be back for more.

Fantastic sandwich shop at the Lansdowne in Bournemouth! Huge selection of sandwiches and breakfast rolls, the panini's are amazing and they also do incredible jacket potato's as well as large healthy salads.

Rude service... waited and ignored for 10 minutes whilst staff flirted made me feel very awkward. Decided to leave after 10 minutes of not being asked for my order. Work tops looked dirty and not clean despite extensive menu.
