Excellent breakfast for what you pay.Slices of toast like door stops, proper toast. Staff very nice and everywhere clean. I do have to say though that when I took my friend in we sat at the table nearest to the toilets. When she went to get up from the table her cardigan stuck to the side of the table and it made a bit of a mess. It looked like someone had used a knife at some point and chopped into the edge of the table. She mentioned it to the staff and they appologised, I suggested getting sandpaper to smooth it down. I have since been in and the table is still the same, spikey on the edge. They should really get it done before anyone else damages their clothing. If they are told they should do something about it. My friends cardigan was new on so she was'nt very happy. Other than that everything was excellent.

This place is a regular for us. You can always expect a nice welcome, and they will always oblige if you want something that is different to the displayed menu - if you want some mushrooms or an extra sausage. The food is always well cooked and the prices are sensible. Recommended

This is my first visit to this place and I think I'll be coming back. I ordered the small breakfast for 4.50. This comes with coffee or tea and a side dish of 2 slices of toast. Service was fast and friendly. The breakfast was good and filling. No wifi. Nice place.

Super smashing excellent Dinners. Lovely Cottage Pie (not Shepherds as on Menu). Infact its the best "Shepherds " Pie in any cafe in Doncaster. Veg is always undercooked but that doesn't bother me. The breakfasts are not great only OK. They do lovely butter fried mushrooms but that doesn't make up for it. The staff are superb. The place is clean. Its a very good cafe and we go all the time, just not for breakfast. Thats reserved for another place.

Popped in for a breakfast this morning, often I'll grab a bacon butty from down the road but thought I'd Park up and treat myself to a sit down breakfast and a cuppa today. The staff are friendly, it's a clean place, I went for the "big breakfast" and that's probably a trades description issue right there.. 2 bacon (decent bacon to be fair, no fat on it and thick sliced) 2 sausage (of the cheap frozen and deep fried variety, pretty tasteless)only 1 egg (although they got the yolk nice n runny) a couple of spoonfuls of beans and a pitiful dollop of tomatoes in the centre of the plate. I asked for no mushrooms because there's no place for them in this world and they clearly shouldn't even exist the dirty little buggar but still not a very big breakfast at all for the cost of £5!! You do get a decent pot of tea and a proper mug to drink it out of which is good and toast but only one slice. I didn't find it great value for money, I left full of tea but unfortunately not full of food. Distinctly average but clean friendly and pretty quick at getting the food out

Never had a bad meal yet. Everything on the plate always looks fresh and cooked to how i like it. However, took a Sunday lunch out once and didn't like it at all.

We visited Bawtry and stopped at the Crown for Breakfast, wow we were impressed the breakfast was not only great value at £11.95 but the flavour of each individual item was really good, the sausage and bacon was good quality and the poached eggs cooked right. we will definately be back. i believe it was the chefs first day so we did send feedback in with the staff. i hope it made his day brighter

Having been twice before we decided to go again after the afternoon at the theatre. At 5pm it was rowdy and the service was terrible. It was full of groups doing bottomless brunch. Not a suitable place for a family to dine. The swearing and behaviour was terrible and the restaurant didn’t do anything to control it or to keep families separate. Waited 15 mins to order drinks and another 10 mins is for them to be served. Amongst other things we ordered king prawns in shells… no napkins, no finger bowl. We had to ask twice for a napkin. Meanwhile our prawns went cold. We also ordered a pasta dish with chicken. The chicken didn’t come. So had to ask for that. When it arrived I’d finished the pasta and was left with chicken. We ordered two aperol spritz - they tasted like soda with hardly any aperol and certainly no Prosecco. They did correct them and they were then nice - but it’s not that hard to make a nice aperol. Service was slow on top of the mishaps. The staff are all barely out of school and just don’t care. One positive was that the food was nice. I wouldn’t return unless they sorted the staff out as I think this is what the issues boil down to. The staff they’ve chosen and the lack of management is going to unfortunately ruin the reputation of this nice restaurant. Rethink the bottomless brunch/decide what you want to be. You can’t be both a nice classy restaurant and offer bottomless brunch - not at least without separating the two and having some noise control.
