Amazing staff. Great food. Calm atmosphere. Great for all ages! I had a full English and the staff change things out that I didn’t like so that I was satisfied. Great prices too!

Never ordering again. Burnt chips, never seen anything like it and I paid for it :D Meat in a burger hard and chewy, tuna mayo in a jacket potato tasted weird and was making me sick to even smell it. Was hungry before I received the order and ended up hungry when I got it. Sorry to say but the food ended up in a bin. Terrible 🤢

Don’t let this place pass you by, or indeed don’t pass this place by! The aroma is phenomenal when you “try” and walk past.......bottom line, you won’t walk past, you will simply walk in to this haven of freshly cooked pasties, which are quite simply “to die for “

full range of home made pasties, jackets and sandwiches. even a mini pizza! Staff are lovely, and smiley. need to spend £3+ pound to use the card machine, conveniently in town centre so could just pop to one of nearby cash machines too. food is tasty and jackets are done in a proper oven, a little portion of salad with your jacket would be appreciated. Had cream tea here too, nice little pot of jam and cream - cherry scone i had was delicious! a good pump of flavoured syrup is given in your flavoured coffee too, unlike costa where you can hardly taste it. shop maybe has two tables inside, and a few outside on the front, so not one for large groups

I had a mocha and a salad box, to eat inside. The salad was made freshly to order with the topping of my choice, I opted for the sweet chilli chicken. The salad was very good and the sweet chilli chicken was delicious. No customer toilet which seemed odd for an eat in cafe, luckily there are toilets in the nearby frenchgate centre.

Favourite place to have lunch in Doncaster - not just pasties either, there’s sandwiches, salads, jacket potatoes, pizza breads, scones etc. Very friendly staff too!

Was just passing this lovely little shop when the gorgeous smell of Cornish pasties being cooked drew me inside, was surprised at the extensive range of food, loads of choice. I settled for a traditional pasty and hubby had pizza which was piping hot and very tasty, so nice we took some home to freeze. The staff go way beyond helpful, thank you 'Taste of Cornwall' for making a grey , wet day sunny again!.

Walking around the city centre we came across this superb little café. Although I was not hungry a couple of my friends had missed breakfast so we're in need of a quick tasty meal and this place fitted the bill. I ordered coffee and this was served steaming hot while my friends went for a pasty each. They absolutely demolished their pasties and said they were delicious while I must admit that my coffee was superb. This is a seriously busy and popular café and on our visit was really packed but with coffee's and meals of this quality hardly surprising really. We moved on after our delicious coffee's and meals here and we had a very pleasant time. Very easy to locate on High Street in an area packed with pubs, bars and restaurants and facing Mansion house. Opening hours are, Monday to Friday,8am till 4pm. Saturday,8am till 5pm. Sunday, closed. A great cafe in a superb location and well worth checking out.

I have visited A Taste of Cornwall often for light lunch. There is a delicious range of pizza slices on French bread as well as an excellent range of traditional pasties. The home made cakes are also worth trying out too. There is not a huge indoor seating area though there is outdoor seating available if the weather is kind. Everything is pretty much reasonably priced. Worth a visit.

Called in here to grab some pasties to take out. Good selection of fillings. Pasties are nice but are expensive. Ok if just buying 1 but is costly if buying a few for family to take home.

Best place to get a traditional Cornish pasty... Other companies to not come anywhere near to the quality of the food. I have not met any other staff members that are more helpful than the women at A taste of Cornwall Doncaster. I have told everyone I know about this place and definitely will go back again and again.

A little cramped but food makes it worth it. Had a pasty as good as any I've every tasted. The coffee was so sweet I could not drink it ( I didn't put any in it). What I saw in this cafe and many other places selling food is the server has on one hand a blue glove. With the gloved hand the food is mauled and moved about and then money taken with the other hand. On quite a few occasions I saw money in the gloved hand. Money is filthy.

Dropped in as we were passing along the High street for a cuppa. The choice of food was great, plenty of different flavoured pasties, pizza's and fresh sandwiches. As said in the previous review "they don't rip you off". Best latte in Doncaster. Well worth the visit.

I have never ever had a worse experience in my entire 41 years. The woman who owns this cafe is absolutely out of control. What I experienced today was beyond belief. We were a party of 9 people with three young kids. We were told off for moving two tables closer together. Then we all ordered our food and drinks which took ages as the place was busy. My 11year old was sat eating a pizza he got from the pizza place next door and the drink from the cafe and we had our food. I had my one month old in one arm and three year old on my knee and the owner of the cafe walks up to my 11 year old and starts having a real go at him for eating the pizza from next door. She said he had to leave if he was eating the pizza so basically a child had to leave our party and eat on his own else where despite the fact we had all spent a fortune on food from her cafe and my 11 year old was having a drink bought from her cafe too. When my child said sorry I always eat my pizza in here when my mum and dad have their food she went bonkers basically calling us liars in front of a packed cafe. It was beyond humiliating. I had two kids on my knee and my other child was getting shouted at. If we had sat in her cafe eating food from else where or our own food fair enough but we were a party of 9 all eating her food and the kids wanted a bit of pizza from next door. She was really really aggressive, when we tried to diffuse the situation she was not having it. The level of aggression was really frightening especially directed towards a child. Sadly she is a private business not a council employee otherwise I would have taken my complaint all the way to the top. Having read the other reviews on here this is clearly an ongoing issue. The woman should not be in a public facing role she is aggressive and has anger issues. Literally everything is a problem for her.

Access to the hotel on the front via a ramp, (it's got those blind bumps on it.) The doorway is double doors so you may need to open both to get in. Bar area is fairly clear and the bar is clear of tables so you can get to it. The toilet was a little tight turn into it, but very usable. I used the side room, which was dated yet purposeful.
