Khan and his team were great, attentive and food was nice.

As good as it was back in the 80's. Good service as well.

Portion size for the price is wayyy too small. The food is average. The service is good though.

Called in on Thursday without a booking and had a warm welcome. Good service from Shahib. Both enjoyed our starter, and mains. Nice atmosphere. Staff very attentive. Food was delicious. Enjoyed the lollipops too 🙂. Would definitely revisit.

Quite spicy but very good food. If you don't want it spicy, you should definitely order mild. She tries very hard to do everything to make you feel comfortable. Good quality. Definitely recommended. The portions are normal size. The candy was also delicious but, as expected, extremely sweet!

Never ever again. We went to this shop craving for authentic sweets, and it looked good in the counter. However, the sales person was really rude, when we were ordering things, and we were even afraid to add another thing that we wanted, after he made the bill, thinking that he might be rude again. It was worst customer experience at the store. We were visiting this place on holiday, so we couldn't even go back to them now. We bought many things- of which the main ones where mesou ( mysore pak) and baklava. We paid around 9bucks for the same, and we only tried it after coming back home. It doesn't even taste like the sweets they claim to be, its not sweet, neither does it have any any authentic flavour. I have tried better sweets in the UK, even the box ones from Asian stores, and nothing tasted this bad. Both baklava and mysore pak is not even edible, unfortunately we had to throw it all away. Don't even think about buying atleast these sweets from Sanam.

I would give zero stars if I could, absolute scammers!!! Very rude waiter who tried to force bottled water on us and when we refused he tried to make us feel bad. The food has really gone downhill, was served raw chicken wings which we had to send back for them to be cooked again, chicken chilli was watery. I will not be eating here again.

We have been coming to Sanam since we were young children and have fond memories of meals and events here. Had a wonderful meal with the family. Khan Saab was absolutely fantastic and so personable he made us feel like we were getting a VIP experience 👌🏽 a huge thanks to him and we will be back!!

Had an amazing iftari meal with my family and the service, staff food and price was spot on and Zabardast. The staff were courteous respectful and friendly. Food was delicious and the bill better than I anticipated. If it wasn't for Ramadhan I would have stayed there longer.

Not at all nice and very pricey. I don't understand why the owners doesn't bother to check their services given to customers. The sweets were unfairly weighted. Not buying from them again. There are far better sweet shops near them. Not recommend!!!!!!

Top notch food as usual. Succulent kebabs and fresh hot naans. Refreshing ras malai, and mithai that's still made in desi ghee. These guys do it properly.

Sanam is a friendly traditional curry house. I have been going there for over 20 years and the food is always fresh, authentic and delicious! The manager Kahn is such a nice man and so hospitable and kind…. He has always took great care of us. It’s by far our favourite curry house in Manchester x

Delecious food ( had the lamb biryani and Bhindi, which is lamb with okra ) melts in ur mouth. Service was great and quick.

Excellent service and atmosphere

We first came in without buying anything to pray (we ordered food at Mr T’s next door), and they had given us access to their Musallah free of charge, which is quite spacious too. This alone should be enough to give them five stars, as they have made Allah a partner in their business affairs. We came back to Sanam after our meal next door, and ordered a bunch of desserts (Rasmalai, Gulab Jammum etc) which were all very nice. Highly recommend May Allah bless the owners of this establishment all those that work here أمين

We went to sanam for dinner, and it was excellent. The food was delicious and authentic, with good portions, and everyone enjoyed it. The service was excellent and all the waiters were lovely and great with kids. After paying the bill, they brought lollies for everyone, then free ice cream sundaes for the kids. They also brought us all delicious jalebi to finish. We had a great experience, and would definitely recommend

Been here for the first time and it was totally worth it. The food, the atmosphere, the staff everything was too good. The customer services especially from Khan sab and Shahid bhai was so amazing. Really had a good time here. Thanks too Raja Feroze Subhani bhai for the dinner.

It was my first time visiting the 'Curry mile'. My partner and I were visiting the wonderful shops and restaurants. This place was recommended by a local and stated it was the longest serving restaurant in the area. Khan and the staff were outstanding! We were made very welcome from the second we entered. The food was excellent. The service exceptional. I would recommend this place highly and especially if taking your family or friends. Well done Sanam. See you again. Wayne and Margaret.

Another fantastic meal. Mr Khan was welcoming and made sure everything was perfect. We live in St Helens but think the journey is worth it for the great food. We have already planned to go there again next week.

Absolutely lovely reception by all employees, especially the Manager who I believe is called Khan. The food was amazing, I strongly recommend the Mix Grill Sizzler which was perfect in all ways.

Decided to gave Sanam's one last chance, walked in to an empty place and it was a disappointment. Sheekh kebab 2 portions we asked for, what we got was 2 cut in half and served to 2 people. Which is one portion. When asked this is how you serve it now quickly we got 2 Sheekh kebab not cut gaving to us without explaining why it wasn't like that from the start. My nephew enjoy his Desi chicken burger. Chicken karahi was ok nothing special and okra was hard swimming in onions and watery. Tasteless.

We visited Sanam Restaurant today and ordered kebabs, tikka, roti, and a special sanam pistachio cake. However, we were very disappointed. The food was terrible, and the special sanam pistachio cake didn't seem fresh at all.

We had breakfast and ordered 2 Alo parathas which were not prathas at all. Terrible overpriced for such a bad quality food. Would not recommend to anyone.

They give food under weight I bought 1 kg jalebi today and when reached and weighed it was 100g short weight. Please check yourself if it is happening with you
