Sanam Sweet House & Restaurant in Manchester

I went there today after many many years first time I went to Sanam restaurant was in 1974 Iused to like the food I went there today Ithink they are one of the top five in Manchester.

V nice music, food could have less oil

I visited sanam for my friend birthday party. I had dinner with my freind . It has good and delicious food and the carering services of mossa and khan boyh are sweet and smiling faces u must visit this place

Good service for moosa and khan and amhed

We came here on Monday bank Holiday evening, firstly the food was good but portion size was tiny I ordered chicken tandoori platter it was chucked in a plain plate 5 pieces We got served buy an old waiter he had a face on him like he was pissed off took our mood down he was soooooo moody and hated his service why is he there he should be sleeping at home i want smiles and friendly service I'm soooo annoyed drove far for this!! I won't be coming here it's old restaurant they should serve better food portion sizzling hot and hire waiters give them proper wage so they don't look pissed off and the whole team looked pissed .

Sanam has gone downhill over the year's. Starters were nice and main was ok. Had the pistachio cake but not what I expected at all. Service was mediocre, we went for lunch and the waiter's really couldn't be bothered with anything other take our order. We asked what they'd recommend, the response was to take a look at menu! Don't think we'll be going back in a hurry.

Mr izaagi khan provided great service

Worst Paneer Kadai and Chocolate shake I ever had in my life. In the start, the vibe seemed to be quite welcoming and good music. But as the time passed the music was literally boring and some Qawali was being played. The paneer they gave just tasted all turmeric and was cooked just randomly. Also the naan is not at all upto the mark. Just Mango Lassi & Popaddum was good. Also in the end the staff was so busy talking to the customer. He took the order literally after calling out 7 times in a row. Worst restaurant in whole Manchester.

Very friendly staff and my lamb dish was awesome and everyone else enjoyed their meal.

My husband and I drove to Wilmslow from Liverpool craving a good curry and this did not disappoint. Chicken Jalfrezi and Lamb Dopiaza were delicious and the staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Definitely want to go again.

Manager Khan was an absolute star! The service was top-notch he made sure everything was perfect with our meal and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great experience. A special thank you for the lovely gesture of giving my nephews a free ice cream it really made their day! Truly appreciated. Thank you again, Manager Khan!

Never ever have worse food before what i had from sanam restaurant just 10 mins back … it’s literally insult of Pakistani food … please people don’t go there and waste your money… it’s better for you to have some chocolates and eat it …

We always come to this restaurant when we fancy a proper curry. The staff are knowledgeable and friendly and the food is outstanding! I would recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Desi cuisine.

As good as it gets, simply can’t enough! When it comes to authentic Asian food, no better place to go for me. The chicken karahi with garlic naan is a must try.

We regularly go to the Sanam. It is consistently provides good quality food.

It is one of the very few proper restaurants on Wilmslow Road. The service was excellent. All staff were very friendly and welcoming. The service was quick. We did not have to wait for a table. The food quality was overall very good except that the Nihari was not as good as we expected from a Pakistani restaurant. The prices are also reasonable. Naans were especially good and fresh.

Best place to enjoy your time with family and friends start from Saturday and Sunday breakfast lunch and dinner any other days start from lunch and late dinner then if you fancy sweet fresh from there aswell and after that falooda with nice ice to cool you down you must try this place

Very well looked after by all of the staff, in particular Khan. The food is too good to miss. Always been made to feel very welcome here, whether in boy-mode or girl-mode. Usually (like today) get to sit at my favourite tables, right by the windows out onto the street; have never felt like I was being hidden away in a quiet corner. Whilst the Village in the centre is a great place for a night out, there is nothing quite like an excellent meal in Sanam first.

Terrible experience based on the service. Table of 6 people and were served in small plates which means they saved alot of money. Furthermore, the waiter who was an old folk always replied back and he was very disrespectful.
