Manzil in Manchester

I have only attended two functions here back in 2021/2022. I can remember the food was decent and the waiting staff did a fairly good job: I can't remember any complaints about the waiter's on those 2 days I attended here.. 🤔 Alllthough, only apart from that one incident where they had forgotten to put the entrance barrier up in order for the bride's (my sister) family to park their cars near to the entrance, and, as a result we first had to park at the back of the Venue until they had put their barriers up for us. The manager seems like a friendly, happy chap. He ensured that (nearly) everything ran smoothly during our two different wedding events... The place seems clean and tidy.. Oh..And, they do have a good-sized prayer room - it's bigger than that of some of the other ' big venues' I have visited around Manchester.

Food is faultless. Staff are amazing, just a shame that they are sworn at and treated less than by a certain member of staff going by the name of Haroon. I have only ever visited for weddings and he’s ruined every experience with this egotistical behaviour

Came here for a wedding .firstly parking is so tight and small. Inside very unhygienic table decorations and char covers dirty and loads of hair .ladies toilets very offensive smell and dirty .the hall itself had a dirty smell too .

Excellent food and friendly service. Lamb curry.fish and kheer were very tasty.

Nice decor. The food was tasty. Service was on point. Overall, it was a great experience

Toilets should’ve be cleaned more often overall great venue and good quality food

Very bad service if you give advanced money for booking and then delay your program or extended date your money not back your Money loss be careful

It’s 00.30 and you are still letting off fireworks. These people have no respect for the neighbourhood. This behaviour is so inappropriate and I don’t care if you have weddings, parties or whatever you people are celebrating, YOU MUST RESPECT NIGHT HOURS AND HONEST PEOPLE WHO WANT TO SLEEP BECAUSE THEY HAVE TO WORK THE NEXT DAY.

Attended a family wedding yesterday special thank you to Haroon the manager who organised the whole event with perfection, amazing decor and the best of all the food it was delicious 😋 Would highly recommend booking your wedding at manzil banqueting!

Attended a wedding and food was great apart from the entrance juices which were rather sour, watery and not flavourful in terms of their fruit taste but the service was certainly not the same. There's not enough staff and a very long wait whilst waiting for a refill of a certain food. To add a staff member spilled some liquid on my shirt whilst taking away dishes and left without an apology. Utterly ridiculous. Would have also gone on my trousers had I not been covering them with paper. Certain cutlery on my table was bent in shape. Better maintenance of the furniture should also been done as much lookef worn down without repairs. In summary the experience (service) needs to be improved.

What a horrid experience. Had a wedding do here and family members ended up in hospital. I guess seeing previous customers lip marks on the glasses should have rung bells but gave them a extra yard which was a mistake. Don’t waste ur time and money go elsewhere

Attended a friend's wedding reception here and I was very impressed with the set up a beautiful place well recommended for your special occasion

Awful place. The plates has lipstick marks and they came in wet they was not cleaned properly. Also the chairs had makeup on it from a previous wedding. They didn’t even clean the place food on the floor left over from a previous wedding DISGUSTING PLACE. staff are awful and rude. Never again.

Attended for a wedding, lovely ceremony. However, the place is very disgusting and unhygienic. Glasses had lipstick stains over them and I noticed a lot of my family members complained of the same issue. Me, my sister and cousin found hair in our food. I will never return here, even if someone paid me a lot of money. Unacceptable.

Great place to host your events and ceremonies...I love the mirror-walls which gives the hall a more spacious look and the chandeliers.

Great venue for all occasions birthday, wedding charity events etc. Restaurant with buffet service reasonable price mouth watering food 😋 would definitely recommend it

Please!!!!!!! can there be atleast one venue that serves decent food. Why does the North not have a decent catering service for weddings? Other then that the venue was good the staff very helpful and friendly. Toilets dated but clean and table layout and decor comfortable and pleasent.

It's nice but surroundings are messy like need more cleaning not inside from sides because when you enter fist look last I think other wise it's good service

Had my daughters wedding her, the food was really nice and all the guests complimented the food a little spicy for kids. Mr Harron the manger and his staff gave 100% service.

Mostly decent food Food staff very helpful but seems like they be sort on plates etc soon as u finished ur meal they come & pick the plates without asking if we finished or not 😬 overall prices are fine for night out with family

Zero concern for public safety or the law after being found purposely breaching and ignoring all covid restrictions. Frankly disgusting and should close down permanently.

I like the food and arrangements.

Attended weddings twice in this hall. Well sized hall and food was nice. Car park is small on both occasions it was full so ended up parking on one of the side streets.

A fairly good buffet. There’s a good variety of food. However the lentils were off and sour. The restaurant was reasonably clean. The staff were inattentive - had to ask many times to get a drink. Probably will not return.

Appalling service and dont even give you what they offer i wouldnt recommend going to them for your speical days

It is now just a banqueting hall to cater for parties, weddings and gathering you need. The quality of food is amazing and great staff.

I hired Manzil for my wedding reception and got to say everything was perfect. The food was exceptional, service was outstanding and the organisation of my event was first class. I would highly recommend Manzil for anyone looking to hire a wedding venue as you won’t be disappointed. Thank you for a perfect wedding.

Great Indian place, nice food and the staff are friendly

Allhamdullilah we held our first Muslim Marriage Event at Manzils. Very happy with the service that was provided. Inshallah next event will be held on Sunday 17th November 2019 at Manzil Banqueting Hall

Good place top food recommended

Hall is Ok, service was good, only negative is the parking at the back is cramped, the parking spaces are small so hard to get in and out if someone else parks next to you.

There was raw chicken on the buffet, when I tried to inform the staff of this they argued that the chicken was not raw when in fact all 8 members of our party refused to eat it and advised they remove it for people's safety the staff became very rude. I will not return and would not recommend.

Service was great food was delicious. The decor was basic and the hall was dark felt closterphobic bathrooms were not very clean,flushing or maintained there was no toilet paper either. With only a limited number of parking available.

Hello. We have been here for quite a few wedding here. The hall is big and the parking in the carpark is excellent. The street parking could be hard at busy time. The facility are good and the staff are helpful. The food has been excellent and had no problems. Hope this help.

I attended here with my family yesterday first impressions it looked nice until it come to eating the food was discusting one of the items I picked for starters was peri peri chicken it stunk reli bad the meat was off obviously, the kebabs tasted like they were well over dated the kheer looked like it was out of a tin the manager did not know what day it is even when booking give the price for two people not the full figure and when asked said work it out seems like a ex bully victim poor guy but to top it all off we ordered tea which was served in paper cups now that is not restaurant standards paper cups so the moral of the story is if u want a nice family meal and no food poisoning then manzil is not the place.

Estoy decepcionado con Manzil, antes de que tomaran mi dinero, todos somos buenos conversadores tan pronto como obtuvieron mi dinero, incumplieron sus promesas. La boda debía comenzar a las 6. 30 pm pero todavía estamos preparando el escenario a las 6. 30 pm y limpieza a pesar de prometerme que tendré el lugar listo un día antes. Las sillas y las alfombras estaban sucias. Y maloliente. El baño era antihigiénico sin papel higiénico. La carne estaba llena de huesos y no estaba bien hecha. Mal servicio de mesa y el desierto era demasiado acuoso. Estoy decepcionado con todos estos malos servicios con mala gestión. No recomiendo Manzil para una ocasión feliz. Se arruinaron el día más feliz de mi vida y se centraron en obtener mi dinero y no preocuparme por mi día especial.

Best buffets place with family highly recommended

Nice place, good ambient setting, food was really good! Some colleagues said it wasn't spicy enough, but to me it tasted exquisite! Happily visit again.
