San Carlo Cicchetti in City of London, Westminster

Family visit 29th December. They were telling people tables were a 45 minute wait and people were waiting outside the door and at entrance, we had booked and had to wait 35 minutes for a BOOKED table. We were left by loos and in the way of the kitchen mainly because the main entrance was full of hopeful walkers by!!! The staff were rude and the whole place very chaotic and poorly managed. After the 35 min wait, no coats were taken to the cloakroom, I asked twice, then knocked off a chair and left by a waiter on the floor, wrong drinks came for which the waiter blamed us as i asked for a bottle and 2 glasses which apparently confused him and he was really really rude, then the new drinks never turned up we asked 3 times. Wrong side came at mains and beef cheek cold. Complained about service and attitude of staff, their sister restaurant in covent garden and Leicester square are my favourite restaurants in london this place should be ashamed to share its name. We won't be returning. No real appology they knocked off drinks and food they got wrong - bill for 3 mains still £130 terrible terrible service, avoid

Siamo rimasti stupiti da questo ristorante dove per caso siamo entrati all'uscita da Harrod's, che dire?? MERAVIGLIOSO! Beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere, good service and delicious food. Eat here with my Italian partner and her daughter and we all loved it and look forward to returning to try more of the menu

El servicio fue excelente. Los platos principales eran muy buenos, pero los titulares eran promedio. Le recomendamos que pida no sentarse en ninguna de las 3 mesas cerca de la entrada que están frente a la escalera. La habitación para hombres no tenía toallas y las usadas estaban por todo el piso. Los baños de señoras no eran amables en la nariz. Siendo justos, la dirección se ocupó de esto rápidamente, pero nunca debería llegar a este estado en primer lugar. Dejando estas cuestiones a un lado, tenía un precio razonable

Lived the ambience and friendly staff. Clammy was our waiter and was fantastic. So helpful and professional. Food was great especially the sea bass which they deboned with skill

Un buen restaurante en Londres para comer después del trabajo o simplemente para reunirse con amigos para tomar algo. Me encantó la comida y las bebidas.

For this lovely restaurant, round the corner from Harrods, is a real bubbly Italian joint. The pasta was tasty and they were eager to help me with my food intolerance alternatives. Waiters were pleasant and cheerful. Expected it to be so pricey but was mid-range cost and well worth it.

Posto assai grande vicino a Covent Garden, siamo andati il giorno prima di Natale, ed era molto affollato e rumoroso. Peccato perché l'ambiente é molto piacevole da una sensazione di pulito e freschezza. Il cameriere impeccabile molto professionale con un occhio attento ad ogni nostra esigenza. Buona carta dei vini (anche se esageratamente cari) porzioni piccole da condividere. Ottimi i ravioli al tartufo. Vorrei tornarci in un giorno meno affollato. Prezzo troppo alto.

I was apprehensive to even try this restaurant after having had the worst dining experience ever in its sister restaurant in Regents Street. What a difference an efficient, polished, and pleasant manager makes — as compared to his rude and surly counterpart in Regent Street. The food was delicious and arrived promptly. The service was impeccable. The restaurant was bright and airy and tastefully decorated. It was a delightful experience. I will be back.

We were recommended but no one told us it’s Italian tapas . I thought it unusual when the waiter , (I thought he said ) I recommend sharing the tapas ! Silly me thought were were at a regular Italian . The hostess was really kind helpful . Fish was unfortunately over cooked lasagna delicious but my bolognese for me was to heavy on the tomato base . But tasty nevertheless. Great location for theatre.
