Ho prenotato in questo locale perchè era il meno turistico della zona. Si presentava in modo più elegante rispetto ad altri. La origine italiana inoltre garantiva, per così dire, una certa competenza culinaria. Cibo molto buono, personale accogliente. Il ricarico sui vini leggermente alto, Tavoli un pò troppo vicini.

Ce restaurant est très bien situé, dans le quartier de Covent Garden, près de nombreux théâtres de Londres. L'endroit est très classe, et le service distingué. La nourriture consiste en de nombreuses petites portions (2-3 plats conseillés par personne). Si vous allez voir un spectacle, il est possible de manger vers 17h30 ou 18h, et le service est suffisamment rapide. Seul bémol : c'est assez bruyant, et les serveurs courent dans tous les sens.

An amazing lunch experience, delicious small tapas style dishes to share but in italian style ! Can’t fault it . The service was excellent, very engaging and great atmosphere ! Noeme who served us exceptional , she had great knowledge of the menu , and also knew a lot about Sicily where my friend is visiting this summer , Overall a fantastic few hours spent here ! Sensacional! Pedimos Ravioli Pecorino Trufado , Risoto El Mare e Callamari, tudo perfeito,saboroso . Ja na chegada fomos super bem recebidos,acomodados e o Tassito fez a diferença no meu drink de Limoncello. Super recomendamos e voltaremos mais vezes.

Lovely looking restaurant, with great service. We hadn't realised that the concept here is apparently small plates to share, they should perhaps make this clear on menus and website. That's why the prices look quite reasonable for Piccadilly! The waiter explained we should probably order two main dishes a head, which we duly did, but the idea of of sharing Italian food is rather strange - it's not easy to share a plate of pasta! Luckily we were family, you might well not want to share with work mates or more casual acqaintances! Our dishes, including Boned Lemon Sole Caper, Ravioli Tartufo, Pollo Lemone and Pappardelle Duck (£15-£20 each) were all pretty good, but such small portions! We also found most of the food rather too salty. Lovely ambience and excellent service though. Rather mystified that the booking form specifically asked if it was a special occasion, but the restaurant didn't acknowledge in any way the fact that it was a birthday celebration....

Franchement quand je lis les avis je me demande si on parle bien du même restaurant… Pour nous Pâtes trop cuites, sauce tomate à l’eau, escalopes de veau sèches trop cuites, portion d’épinards insignifiantes, calamars congelés, et calzone sans garnitures, bref sans grand intérêt en plus c’est bruyant et le service brouillon

Located next to piccadilly circus, you might think this would be a little over-priced. The menu shown outside is priced for the Cichetti- so small plates similar to the concept of the more well known Tapas. We had Gamberoni fritti, pollo limone, baked norma (very Al Denti) and truffle chips. The service was ok, not so attentive, probably because we were seated at the bar. Food was lovely, freshly prepared - certainly an advantage of this style of food. Price reflects the location.

We were highly disappointed that the main courses suddenly were explainned to be 'tapas size' meals at the last moment. We felt it was a way of getting customers to spend more money on more dishes. Its not defined on their website that main courses are child size portions. Would not recommend, food very average too.

Terrible food, bland, rubbery fish. Pasta tasted like out of a can. Rubbery duck, no flavour, no seasoning, no offering of parmesan. Caprese was really good and was made with fine ingredients- but the rest of the meal was horrid. Service- they want you out of there faster than it would take in McDonalds even though there were empty seats and it wasn't a busy time. More servers than customers. 3 people came to pick up our plates when there was clearly food there. Allergens- "are you happy with cross contamination?"- No- "ok it wll take 40 minutes"- OK as good cooked ffresh should take that long. - food arrives in 5 minutes, I don't think they took the allergy seriously. I would not pay this kind of money for a restaurant which doesn't prepare your meal carefully. It is more fast food- fast service, get out of there quickly.

We stopped by here as walk ins on a Monday evening after a busy day shopping and wandering around London. It was after 8.30pm which is way too late for me to usually consider eating dinner but the buzz was enticing as we passed. We actually had to wait to be seated as the restaurant and bar area was rammed. We decided to order mains only and keep it light. We ordered lemon sole, halibut a potato dish and truffled fries. The best I've ever had. My fish was absolutely delicious. We also found room to share the chocolate bombe dessert. Yum. I really enjoyed my visit, the vibe and atmosphere was great for a Monday night. Staff although ran eagged were great. In fact the restaurant was still allowing diners in after 10pm. I've dined in their San Carlo restaurant previously which was excellent but would definitely stop here again.

We American tourists chose Cicchetti Ristorante Italiano for dinner. It tends toward the elegant. Our server described the servings as less than full size with the idea that two might be desired. They were small but still, in our opinion, satisfying. Our party enjoyed cheese pizza and Tagliatelle Bolognese. Taste was outstanding and prices reasonable. We are very glad we found Cicchetti.

They want you seated and out the door as soon as possible - and they will ask you to leave. What a pity... I'll start by saying that if it wasn't for the *5 unnecessary Managers in suits that stand at the door, doing nothing and uncomfortably watching you eat - I would be raving about the out-of-this word Puttanesca! This business is in the primo spot - tourist central in Piccadilly. The food ain't cheap - and they'll remind you of their favoured guests by having wall adorned with pictures of the Kardashians. Myself and company got there 10 mins earlier than our booking, were seated immediately and told we had the table for 1.5 hours. We were served our meals, afterwards, they were quick to bring the bill and card machine - I paid. My partner went to the bathroom. Naturally, I waited while finishing off my water. 2 mins, literally. I was then 'tapped' on the shoulder by suit manager (while an audience of 4 other suit managers watched) and told they "needed the table back" - suggesting I get up and leave now, and wait for my company outside... N.B - our '1.5 hours' wasn't up - and you'd think we hadn't just purchased a 3-course meal. And yes - we tipped (I'm a server). There is a massive queue of customers which are not the responsibility of the customers. But that is the motto - the chain is, you are important while you wait, important while you eat but the MOMENT you have paid - they will literally SCOWL you out the door. I won't be back...but damn - that puttanesca... if you desire to go just for that then do yourselves a favour - one - don't tip the Managers (clarify with your server, this goes to you, right?) and two, wait until *you are ready to leave until you pay that bill. Dp not let anyone rush you out the door.

Ieri prenotati dal Ns Hotel 5 Stelle che fortemente ci ha raccomandato il Ristorante, in primissimo siamo arrivati con 10 minuti di ritardo, ed una Signorina Bionda alla cassa ci ha detto che avrebbe tolto il tavolo, poi nell’attesa ci ha fatto aspettare imbarazzante in un angolo all’entrata e ci voleva dare il menu allo piedi ma la cosa pessima il tavolo assegnato TANTO RACCOMANDATO IN FONDO ALLS SALA, una puzza tremenda di PIPÌ’ una cosa da vomito che addirittura io e miei figli ci siamo alzati e scappati in igiene pessima, fortemente sconsigliato NON ANDARE E IN PIÙ NESSUNA ALTERNATIVA E NESSUNA SCUSA tranne un gentile cameriere italiano che ci propose altro tavolo ma ormai eravamo disgustati !!!!!!

Locale accogliente, luminoso e camerieri disponibili che accolgono calorosamente i propri connazionali. Purtroppo le portate erano piccole, dalla pasta, alle pizze, alle insalate. La pasta veniva servita in piatti fondi piccoli ma ben proporzionati che nascondevano visivamente e furbescamente l'inganno. Sicuramente in piatti grandi la proporzione ridotta sarebbe stata messa più in risalto. La salsa dei primi risultava leggermente acidula. Abbiamo preso una bruschetta: un fetta di pane di Altamura anche questa ristretta divisa in 2 dove i pomodori sembravano essere messi lì per caso senza un preliminare condimento di olio e aglio della fetta di cui parlava il menù. Le pizze erano mezze delle nostre pizze di forma ellittica. Le insalate erano servite in ciotoline per sembravano delle scodelle. Ma la cosa più assurda che ci era stato detto, da un capo cameriere o il gestore (non saprei) dopo che ci siamo seduti, in perfetto italiano, che la caratteristica del locale era di condividere al centro tutti i piatti con gli altri commensali. Per fortuna abbiamo ordinato ognuno per sé. Pensate come potevamo dividere delle porzioni così minuscole con almeno altri 7 commensali? Un controsenso rispetto al consiglio interessato della condivisione dato all'inizio. Che dire! Lo consiglio solo a chi segue diete o si accontenta di porzioni piccole.

Really fantastic experience at San Carlo Cicchetti in Piccadilly. My friend booked lunch for us here before a matinee theatre show, because we all love Italian food and for the close location to the theatre. (Also she chose this restaurant in part due to the very good Tripadvisor reviews.) Our waiter, David, was exceptional. Clearly a man who loves and enjoys his job! He was attentive, friendly and funny, and we were made to feel like special guests. The food was amazing, David gave us some recommendations for the tapas dishes which we took - and thank you, David, the truffle ravioli *was* fantastic. The amount he suggested we order (we ordered seven dishes between three of us) was exactly right. We were all full and absolutely nothing was left over. Would recommend the pizza (we had Vegetariana), the Parmigiana, the Ravioli Tartufo, and the Lasagna. It was a special occasion lunch for us and a really good choice of venue. Although we didn’t have time for a dessert, we would come back again and next time book for a longer lunch slot before the show. Not cheap, but you get exactly what you pay for, and this was all delicious and very good quality. Would recommend and will certainly go back!

Had a 6:30 reservation, after 50 minutes, and spending 159 gbp, and getting ready to order dessert, mgmt asked us to move or leave because they needed our table. Hostess exceptionally rude during check in, walking away in middle of it. Absolutely don’t recommend spending money at this establishment.

When we arrived at the restaurant we firstly were welcomed very kindly, and even though we didn't have a reservation we were still able to get a table. Then the pizza's we ordered were fa-bou-lous! The food and beverages were delicious and our waiter Rupok was amazing, he was really friendly, polite, cheerful, grateful and wanted us to have the best experience. Well, he definitely succeeded! All 6 of us said we would love to visit again. :)

Amazing service and food! Since we arrived without reservation, they told us if we can wait of the bar, so we did, and 15 minutes after my Gin they gave us the table. It is always very busy, but they have the best attitude and the food it’s amazing, I ordered a Rissoto with spinach, and I got inloved with it. Don’t miss the cannoli, they are spectacular

It was not busy at all but dark and cool Inside, staff were very good and advised on items to get. Because it tapas, many small dishes will add up so not the cheapest place if you want to be full

We went to Cicchetti while in London with family to celebrate an anniversary, birthday and engagement all in one. Fantastic service from David and the crew who made us feel right at home and really enjoyable, tasty food. The lobster ravioli (pictured) was the highlight dish for me. The only downside was that pricing was quite high for small plates of food.

Ci siamo incontrati per caso in questo ristorante, avevamo necessità di cambiare il bambino e riposarci un attimo. Appena entrati siamo subito stati accolti con gentilezza, ci hanno fatto sentire come in una famiglia, abbiamo conosciuto Rubok e Davide due persone eccezionali e simpatiche, che ci hanno consigliato piatti molto buoni. Second time we have visited this restaurant and we love it! The staff are lively we had David as our waiter and he was wonderful. The food is amazing and such a clever way to serve it, as a tapas. We ordered way too much but we’re able to take some away with us! This is becoming our go to restaurant before the theatre!

Had an delicious diner at this place. Every dish was excellent. Friendly staff as well. David from Milaan was our waiter. Such a nice friendly guy ! Recommended.

The food was tasty but such tiny portions,supposed to be for sharing. How do you share 3 small meatballs and a few spoons of pasta. We had a small child with us. No childrens menu available, but that didn't matter as all the potions were children's size. If this is supposed to be as advertised a new experience in Italian dining. We will continue with a traditional experience thank you. It was so very pretentious. Definitely not an enjoyable experience

We booked this Italian to coincide with a show we had booked around the corner. We picked 5 dishes between the two of us and they were all delicious. The service was outstanding along with the food. Would definitely recommend

Visited Cicchetti Piccadilly before going a show. Everything was amazing. We had the crab linguine which was amazing and the muscle and prawn spaghetti which had very meaty prawns. Our server was Giuseppe was very good very friendly and helpful,l. Will definitely visit again

We have tried all 3 restaurants in London and all very good. This time we went back to Covent Garden and were disappointed with the service. The food was very good but came out at different times. We ordered little dishes as starters and some Italian breads ordered as starter, came out with main meals. Some main dishes came out with our starters and vegetables and potatoes came out way before a fish dish. They were extremely busy and we had to wait for our table which wasn’t ready on the booked time. They seemed rushed bringing out the dishes at different times which made us rushed and it was such a shame as food was very good. We will try the restaurants again but maybe at a different time and not 6.30 in the evening in Covent Garden.

Nel centro di Londra a Piccadilly, in un locale molto elencante dove puoi gustare piatti internazionali e della cucina italiana a base di carne e pesce fresco , dove tutto è perfetto una tappa obbligata per un buon pranzo o cena.

Bon accueil. Bon mais portions pour les tous petits màngeurs. Prix très chers par rapport à la quantité. Dommage. Déçus ! Après une entrée et un plat nous avons encore faim !!!!

Last time I was in London in 2017 we visited. It was so good we came for a return trip before our show. Once again, outstanding and our waiter Rupok had some great recommendations.

El lugar muy bonito, teníamos reservación 9:45 y llegamos a las 8, nos hicieron un espacio para darnos mesa a esa hora. La comida deliciosa, y la atención por parte de Eva increíble, muy amable, excelentes recomendaciones de platillos.

Great vibe, even on a Tuesday evening. Love the concept of small sharing plates so you can try many different dishes. We chose bruschetta, Caprese salad, gnocchi gorgonzola in a Parmesan bowl, gambas (super fresh & sweet), tagliatelle bolognese and spaghetti carbonara. Everything was delicious and the pasta was perfectly ‘al dente’. For dessert we chose the sampler for two, which included limoncello. Not an inexpensive evening, but we loved it all.

This restaurant is filled with laughter, good vibes, great staff and definitely amazing food. As the name suggests it, it’s based on small plates from Venice, therefore don’t expect big portions, however the quality of the food was amazing. We ordered several dishes, amongst them the lasagna, tagliatelle bolognese, gnocchi Gorgonzola, ravioli tartufo e pecorino and the pizza pugliese. The best dish was the tagliatelle and the pizza. We don’t eat pork so they kindly changed the pork for roasted vegetables and it was outstanding! The ravioli were delicious, however only 3 raviolis for 15 pounds is a little excessive. Overall it was a great experience and we would totally go back for more pasta! Highly recommend for family outings or to have a nice night with friends.

Lovely lunch in a lovely setting the restaurant is bright and looks amazing with an impressive arrangement of wine bottles the use of white linen serviettes is also nice It was explained to us that the menu was tapas style and that dishes came as they were prepared ie not everything might arrive together but we could order more if required The food was excellent as was the wine selection it was a real taste of Italy and Davide was a real asset to the restaurant He and his team looked after us and our granddaughter very well ensuring all went well Could certainly recommend

I booked as it sounded interesting, and it was, very ! The small window frontage is a beautiful display of food like a florists. Inside it goes back a long way, lots of round marble tables, very busy, hectic. Waiters manouevring around llike skaters. Food is great, lots of choice,the presentation is a voyage of discovery. Seafood is suprb, beef rib also. Its tapas but Venetion style so larger portions. Craming all the plates on the table is a fun task. Waiters are attentive and personable. I've been back on the off-chance and although crammed they fitted us in at the bar. Will definately return again.

Sono stata a cena con amici e abbiamo deciso di prendere ravioli di zucca. Quando è arrivato il piatto non potevo credere ai miei occhi!! Nel piatto c'erano solo 2 ravioli ovviamente mangiati in 2 bocconi, 12.95 £ era il prezzo del piatto. Piatti costosi e porzioni miserissime quasi inesistenti. Ho visto anche gli altri piatti ed erano tutti con un boccone di pietanza. È vergognoso!

Sono andata a cena con amici, abbiamo deciso di ordinare ravioli alla zucca che ci ricordasse il cibo italiano da dove proveniamo, ma siamo rimasti delusi per i prezzi molto cari ovvero £ 12,95 e un piatto molto misero con 2 ripeto 2 ravioli di numero. Non ci hanno sfamato per niente e siamo dovuti andare a mangiare in un fast food poiché molto cari e porzioni MISERE, proprio dei ladri. Sconsiglio altamente.

Very poor experience. Although we understood the table was for a 1.5 hour slot (not long enough) , in that time we were not offered the dessert menus & they then had the nerve to tall us the table had to be vacated. Very poor customer service when there was adequate time to offer dessert. They are clearly trying to turn over as many tables as possible in too short a time period.

Discovered this great restaurant while walking in Piccadilly and loved the look of the happy clients and the vibe with a great Italian Menu. We loved the bread and the pizza Dough cooked to perfection. Had ossobucco and was fab. Of course the best Italian red went with that choice. All finished with lovely Italian dessert of Canoli Milanese and Bambolinos. Fab Matteo made sure we had all to our full satisfaction and ended it all with a great Limoncello.

Ottima cena con ottima scelte di piatti dai primi ai secondi sia di carne che pesce. Staff molto attento e cordiale. Siamo stati seguiti per tutta la cena da Davide, molto bravo e professionale ma soprattutto simpatico e così facendo porta un clima conviviale alle cena.

1st December As soon as we arrived the hostess wasn’t very welcoming, she actually decided to tell me and my partner we were 5 minutes late rather than welcoming us. We had been at the criterion theatre over the road and it had slightly run over. Whilst letting her know my booking time and my name she clearly wasn’t listening to what I was saying, just zoned out mid conversation. After pulling us up on arriving at 10:05 they had the audacity to leave us stood for 15 mins waiting to be seated. When seated nobody came to take a drink/food order for over 15 mins, whilst the couple seated next to us (who sat down after us) were served immediately and were drinking and eating before we had even had an order taken. When I made a waiter aware they came over, no apology nothing for leaving us waiting for so long. The food arrived, Luke warm and when halfway through my partner discovered a hair in her gnocchi, we made a member of staff aware (kitchen staff I think) AGAIN no apology she smirked and took the plate away. At this point I requested the bill as I wasn’t prepared to eat the meal due to the hair. Poor hygiene. My partner has blonde hair I have next to no hair. This was a long black hair. Diabolical customer service. Maybe don’t pack everyone in like sardines and you will be able to look after your customers better. Will not be returning.

Fantastic chain of restaurants. Very professional staff and service. Brilliantly made cocktails, very clean as always and pretty interior.

Booked this restaurant for lunch before doing some Christmas shopping. Staff were friendly and helpful explaining how the menu is used, small dishes and coming out when ready so no starters, and then mains. Food all freshly cooked, piping hot and very tasty. We ordered a selection of dishes for three of us a glass of wine and a couple of drinks all for under £100. Best Chicken Caesar salad ever had. Would definitely recommend and look forward to returning when next in London.

The worst excuse of an Italian restaurant I have ever eaten in , to say I would recommend a well known fast food restaurant instead would be an understatement, the staff are appalling service, the food is mediocre, and they have no idea of how a 3 course meal with Al acarte prices should be served! To say myself and my husband walked out of the restaurant fuming is beyond words, I will never recommend this place, probably the worst service/food/excuse of an Italian iv ever been to !!!!

Seconda volta in questo posto e a distanza di 7 anni è sempre super buono! Davvero Italia nel pieno centro di Londra. Ci tornerò anche la prossima volta sicuramente. Ottimo Servizio e personale molto gentile.

We dined here before going to the theatre on a busy Saturday evening. The restaurant was absolutely packed and so booking is essential. Food was good with some plates better than others. Great atmosphere and perfect for a quick bite to eat!

Perfect service from entering to leaving. Lobster ravioli, scallops in garlic, Arancini,mixed grill and sea bass with clams. All perfectly cooked and delicious Davide our server was amazing and attentive. Also very funny. A credit to your team. Definitely be back as it is never a disappointment here.
