Excellent customer service well spoken the food is worth the price due to brilliant quality and after taste will recommend must try for yourself 👍😋👌

Bad experience but that was 2 years ago. Haven't been back.

Shop looked completely dead inside. I got a large donner meat and fries which came to £6. The portion size was good but the food quality wasn’t. The fries were just standard frozen fries which were fine but the donner was dry and tasted like cardboard. It was also given in thick chunks and not thin strips. The donner spit wasn’t even turned on and spinning so I don’t know how long that donner was even sitting there.

One thing I don't understand about this place is alot of the meals don't come with drink wich I find confusing why call it a meal and what's the point doing meals without a drink doesn't make sense

I went to the shop first time I ordered chips that's cold and I ask to put chili on the half but the guy put on full that's totally dispointed

Never ever have had a bad experience at this place. (Except the next day after order most of the extra spicy stuff 🤣) ordered the bbq donner in pitta, won't lie but the pitta could of been a little bit softer bit nice nonetheless. When I say extra spicy on the peri peri wings I don't.mean dipped in Caroline reaper sauce 🤣🤣 mouth is burning. Will never go anywhere else for takeaway except this place

Service extremely poor, chicken wings completely dehydrated no value. Dixy still provide an excellent service and tasty food including wings.

I never choose delivery that is why I don't have an opinion. Big portions and great fries. Hard working staff and my favourite place in Hamstead.

The tension and negative attitude between staff members in the shop was somewhat awkward and uncomfortable. Very unprofessional and not a nice experience for a paying customer to witness. I couldn't wait to get out of there! Food was average, chips were really greasy. Won't be going back because of the service alone!

Rude and Miserable owner. The shop looks filthy. The staff look dirty. Just looking at them puts me off buying food from here. How can you eat food prepared by people who look unhygeinic? To make it worse, these thick staff enjoy pouring the whole sauce bottle onto your fries. You can not even taste the fries at all. You can only taste sauce. You are basically paying to drown in the sauce.

food is always nice, good quality, good portions and price is not bad too. good old fast food. deliveries are always on time and the staff are really nice too. 😀

It was my first time trying this takeaway. It has harsh competition with perico a few doors away. The food was fine, lots of it but it wasn't very hot. I won't be rushing back, as there is a pericos a few doors away.

Vile don't use this place they will turn up on time and serve you freezing and I'm not joking freezing cold food on my wrap and kebab disgusting. Also dont answer there phone when you need to complain cheers for the free food and full refund though.

Some of the best fries in the area, did have to wait a long time though. Appreciate the cleanliness of the place too.

Absolutely awful!! Ordered on Uber Eats. It was over an hour late and the food was luke warm at best. Tried calling the place but the line was constantly engaged.

Food was ok but witnessed staff handling wraps and burger buns with bare hands. Wraps placed on grill pressed down with full palm of bare hand by the young girl wearing glasses. Not good practice especially given the current situation. Hope this is addressed.

Ordered on 3 occasions. 1st time - ok. 2nd time - Sent me a burnt pizza! ( I thought I'll give them another chance) 3rd time - Order over 1hr late I called to enquire, the guy on phone didn't apologise but said yeh its stil here and its gonna be another 15mins?? Food finally arrived.. warm. So no apology no extra anything or discount for inconvenience. Hence I won't be using again. Appalling.

Can staff use at least disposable gloves wen preferring orders? otherwise it's ok.

Great piri piri chicken and spiced rice. Clean and polite staff, reasonably priced food. And they deliver.

We have never been so disappointed by Sam's food and delivery as it was this evening. Firstly, delivery already arrived 20 minutes late after waiting for an hour and 20 minutes meaning the total delivery time was an hour and 40 minutes. We ordered pizzas and wings meals. Whilst the pizzas were fine, the reason I was disappointed was because of the wings. Some of them smelled funny and most of them were undercooked. I understand that they're busy but I'd rather wait a bit longer than have undercooked or funny smelling wings. Just disappointed as this isn't a small order and this has never happened before. We had to throw them out meaning the people who ordered them felt unsatisfied.

My fave local. 5.95 peri peri meal..wowzers

Avoid.. avoid, burger was loaded with so much mayo, could have drowned in it and had no salad.. phoned and was told that I would have another within 15 mins, unfortunately it arrived 45 mins later, gave both burgers back to the driver and told him that I was not happy only to be told that it wasn’t his problem and to call the shop, which I did... spoke to the manger called Kul, who was rude, and ignorant and refused to acknowledge that they had made a mistake, instead he told me that having no salad on the burger was only a minor issue and that I should have used my own salad, told him that it was unacceptable because a I had ordered food for the whole family and one member had to wait so long for a burger. I told Kul that, when called the first time I was given a time scale is 15 min, he response was, it’s not my fault but the drivers.. told Kul that I showed the driver the burger loaded with the mayo and asked if he would have eaten a burger like that, the driver walked away with both of my burger as I refused to bin them.. told him that he needed to show the loaded mayo burger to his boss which he refused and insisted that I call the store.. told Kul that I wanted my money back, was told to come and collect my refund form the store in person.. I refused, and was told I’ll have my refund, when the driver is out on his delivery rounds... fat chance of that, poor customer service, no apology.. an hour later and still no refund... business should be drawing customers, instead sams takeaway 4 Old Walsall Road B42 1NN are rude, ignorant, no customer service, from hearing me perfectly well until I asked for a refund, suddenly couldn’t hear or understand what I was saying.... please do not order from them and avoid to save your money.....not even worth the 1 star rating I gave.. not my choice

The food is great and its not very busy

Been into Sam's recently quite allot, to get the usual, hot wings and fries. Always clean in there, very quick in getting served, good prices for the quality of food and the chicken is always tasty, delicious, hot and juicy. Ok parking isn't always great as on a pull in on busy road, but worth it, best chicken in the area id say and won't go anywhere else.

Sam's is a small business that sell fast food and they cook it fresh with a big array of meals, picky eaters will not struggle when picking something they would want to eat. One of my favourite things about Sam's is how it is accessible, with a Supermarket, Pub and a park nearby, Sam's is not that hard to get to and people who have cars can easily just park right in front. If I would have to say a problem with the place it would have to be the amount of people that can be in at one time, the space in Sam's to order and to be served is quite small so it would probably be best to not go too late as the later it is the busier and more crowded it can become. Also the business doesn't not have any seats but that is because Sam's is more of a get food and eat at home or out for on the go basis, so you would have to be wary. Overall I would say that Sam's is a nice place for a nice meal now and again especially if you are on a budget, but just be careful on the time.

I ordered a spicy Donner meat and chips which was shown on sams facebook page a perfect item to order if your into your food with a kick, looking forward to seeing more remixes on our everyday orders. This hit the spot perfectly, everything was cooked while i waited which was not long. Service is great as always usual, i collect my goods as i always pass by. Keep up the great work!

The food is delicious it's always on time have a fantastic piri-piri chicken with different varieties of taste a flavouring also does deliveries on time can't go wrong finger licking Southern Fried Chicken one of the best I've had.

Not impressed, first time ordered on line and took 1 hour 45 minutes and a phone call to get food delivered; by that time no-one hungry. Real shame they are not interested in encouraging new customers!

Didn't do my order correctly, missed items off of my order and charged more than shown on the website.

Pleased to say the shop is clean very good quality food always served with a smile mandeep kaur I have been going to this shop regular for the past 2 years and not seen any sign of any pests and to be honest I don't see how a mouse would come to a busy place mice are out at night I think the mouse was your reflection

Spotted a mouse in the place a few years ago now spotted another mouse in the place the other day. If you have kids do not risk buying , should not be serving food if you have infestation the owner needs to be reported to the council.

Food not good. probably good if your hungover, but if your sober try elsewhere, fries were terrible from here

Working in a shop on my own suddenly i become very hungry and as i cant leave the store i call these guys up and ask them to drop me some chips over and they did they saved a poor hungry guy from an evening of misery top lads :)
