Sam's Chicken in Croydon

the food was freezing cold, stale fries, dry chicken. complete waste of money and unhappy guests

Loaded fries were undercooked. Would not order again

Called Sam’s chicken before ordering to specifically tell them I wanted my burger’s plain with ketchup and wrote a note on here for them to still add lettuce to both burgers which I’m allergic too! I would like a refund of the burgers

Disgusting. Do not eat from here. I got chicken wings and fillet burger from here 2 days ago and I’m still sick in bed. Turns out this is a common thing after speaking with a friend who said they know a few people who’ve gotten ill from this food.

Chickens were too salty and the chips arrived cold, chips were stodgy as if microwaved. The burger and the wings were great though.

This guy was really bad. He asked the code before he gave me his food or event entered through the gate of my house, and then proceeded to leave the food outside the gate so I had to put my slippers on to leave to the house to grab the food. He couldn’t just come through the gate himself. What’s the point paying delivery if I have to deal with this inconvenience

burger was not horrible but tasted liked a burger van type meat chicken burger the same not horrible but prosest chicken not good.

The inside of the shop is not clean and the staff act like if they are giving you a good service but in reality they are not and also I asked for chilly sauce on my burger what they put to too much on there

Hi, I am a very regular visitor of Sam’s chicken, Croydon usually your food and service is good fast and pleasant which makes me visit again and again.. but I am very much unsatisfied with my last 3 visits , I don’t know what happened to you guys. I was adjustable 2 times with improper food and prices but today (Sunday night) every time I pay 8.99 for half chicken fries and drink,but last two,three visits I'm paying 10.49 I don't know why ,when I ask the guy who is billing me about this,he stated argue with me, he don't even understand what I'm asking.. it was totally unacceptable for the regular customer like me. you have to take it as a serious note on this otherwise you might lose your business and customers drastically. I will visit again, if the food and service will be the same?then you guys will be in trouble. This is for your well wish…I have my bill copies with me, I can show you if necessary…

The garlic bread was burnt too much with dark spots. And on the pizza the cheese was unevenly spread. It looked like a chappathi with few cheese on it here and there but not a Pizza. Very bad experience.

Ordered on Ubereats and the food came quickly. I phoned up the shop to ask them if they can add a water bottle for free as it wasn't showing up on the menu and they kindly said yes. Amazing customer service and the food was delicious. Really would recommend.

The chicken was not cooked properly. The chips were undercooked as well and cold. I paid £12 for simple chicken meal. Completely overpriced and terrible quality. Utterly disgusting.

Never had a takeaway be this poorly made and with such awful service. I ordered 3 burgers, 3 fries 8 wings and 3 drumsticks. When it arrived (driver only took 2 mins) it was freezing cold and completely raw. After a phone call, he told me to reorder something and he’d add some free stuff on. Ended up having to walk to the shop it self. He argued with me saying it was just chicken juice and everything is fresh. He gave me 1 fries 1 burger and 1 drink for an order 3 times that size and price. None of us could eat what we were first given. And even the new food tasted terrible and still quite cold.

Terrible.. I am giving one because I cannot give zeros we ordered loaded fries with chicken, chicken wings spicy and a burger. Loaded fries had mayonnaise instead of cheese sauce, no jalapeño and chives as said in the product descriptions. Wings taste terrible, burger meal had spicy strips that was also non-spicy. None tasted good too…

The courier went all the way to Purley with my order. When the food finally came it was cold and I hate cold fries no one likes cold fries. The chicken was cold, it sweated another in the bag to no crust was on it and it was wet and slimy.

I ordered a box of 20 wings one hour after they opened and there wasn't a single flat wing, just drums. And even those were much smaller than usual and almost cold by the time they turned up.

The food is not bad but the service needs some work especially from one of guys he is like 5ft he's quite rude actually so yeah apart from him everyone is OK they have better communication but at least they're not rude.

Sam' s is one of my favourite place. Their chicken and burger is out of this world. I will recommend their meal to anyone. I personally enjoy their burger its always fresh and succulent. You will live the taste. I first stumbled on them on uber eats based on the meal combo and since then I have been an arfent lover. Iaways look out for their ouylet anytime I want to eat out. I have wnjiyed their service too especially at the Croydon branch, it was heavenly. Well done to team Sam great job you are doing. keep the taste up

Excellent fast food, personnelle très accueillant qui a su nous diriger quand nous avions eu besoin d’aide et très sympathique. La nourriture aussi est très bonne. Ouvert jusqu’à 4h du matin et service très rapide et des grosses portions pour des prix totalement casser ! 🤌🤌🤌

Three piece chicken combo meal. All pieces were hot temperature wise but drier than dry! No flavour, proper dead. Chips were both piping hot and cold where the staff are too tight to give someone a bigger portion or too stupid to throw the odd few already cooked back in the frier for a minute to warm them through. The wings were the saving grace. Not the best wings, weird flavour but they had a hint of spice and were hot. Two clowns behind the counter are miserable, i know it’s only a chicken shop but if you can raise half a smile then they probably don’t bother with a lot they’re supposed to be doing. Only after I ordered did I hear a guy sitting with his young children telling them he’d never go back there again but I thought he was just a bit of a moaner, turns out he was actually right so I’m sorry my good man for ever doubting you. Jon the food don need to get down here sharpish and sort these man out!

Order was sealed, order 10 mozzarella sticks only 5 were sent, asked for Mayo as part of the order and none was sent. Just eat is a waste of time poor quality restaurants with no standards I should of just ordered KFC!

The guy was on his phone when I walked into the shop. I stood in front of the till for about 2 mins before he decided to put his phone down and take my order. Poor start. I ordered the 6 wings meal (includes chips and a drink), can't get any simpler than that, well what could possibly go wrong?! Oh wait, Sam's will beg to differ! He even called out my order before handing over the goods... I received a box of 8 wings and NO chips, f sake. USELESS!!!!
