The food is mid especially the peri peri chicken is terrible and they don’t have bottle sources. If ur looking to try a new place do not go here

The food is not bad but the service needs some work especially from one of guys he is like 5ft he's quite rude actually so yeah apart from him everyone is OK they have better communication but at least they're not rude.

Sam' s is one of my favourite place. Their chicken and burger is out of this world. I will recommend their meal to anyone. I personally enjoy their burger its always fresh and succulent. You will live the taste. I first stumbled on them on uber eats based on the meal combo and since then I have been an arfent lover. Iaways look out for their ouylet anytime I want to eat out. I have wnjiyed their service too especially at the Croydon branch, it was heavenly. Well done to team Sam great job you are doing. keep the taste up

Excellent fast food, personnelle très accueillant qui a su nous diriger quand nous avions eu besoin d’aide et très sympathique. La nourriture aussi est très bonne. Ouvert jusqu’à 4h du matin et service très rapide et des grosses portions pour des prix totalement casser ! 🤌🤌🤌

Three piece chicken combo meal. All pieces were hot temperature wise but drier than dry! No flavour, proper dead. Chips were both piping hot and cold where the staff are too tight to give someone a bigger portion or too stupid to throw the odd few already cooked back in the frier for a minute to warm them through. The wings were the saving grace. Not the best wings, weird flavour but they had a hint of spice and were hot. Two clowns behind the counter are miserable, i know it’s only a chicken shop but if you can raise half a smile then they probably don’t bother with a lot they’re supposed to be doing. Only after I ordered did I hear a guy sitting with his young children telling them he’d never go back there again but I thought he was just a bit of a moaner, turns out he was actually right so I’m sorry my good man for ever doubting you. Jon the food don need to get down here sharpish and sort these man out!

The guy was on his phone when I walked into the shop. I stood in front of the till for about 2 mins before he decided to put his phone down and take my order. Poor start. I ordered the 6 wings meal (includes chips and a drink), can't get any simpler than that, well what could possibly go wrong?! Oh wait, Sam's will beg to differ! He even called out my order before handing over the goods... I received a box of 8 wings and NO chips, f sake. USELESS!!!!

I used to go to the Tooting branch often and was passing high street Croydon today so thought I would pop in. Within seconds of me walking through the door I heard someone from the back ask a colleague to serve the gentleman (me) waiting. Someone came from the back. I am now stood in front of him waiting for him to acknowledge me. The member of staff is watching something on his phone. I’m quite an easy going person. So if he is doing his job, him being on his phone does not really bother me. But I continued to wait. No eye contact, no greeting, nothing. To my amazement he then starts to pick his nose without a care in the world. It is at this point I left the shop. I called the shop soon after to inform them of what had just happened. Not surprised, but no one picked up the phone.

Very very bad service.Rude staff seemed to want us out as quick as possible. Food was 40% deep fried batter in most cases. Not tasty at all. Our pets eat better than this. I complain to council to take action on this .

Food took over an hour, turned up stone cold and they refused to re-cook the order. Rude and unhelpful. Avoid.

The food is not fresh...my worst experience

I liked the chicken wings, liked rice too. But I think the customer service is to poor, they was bit rude when we was making our order. But they was so happy when they was chatting with each other.

This is one of the worst chicken I had and I am a Sam’s customer. The 1 piece of side chicken I had ordered had next to nothing on it. We ordered 20 wings spicy and they tasted burnt. Sorry will not be visiting there again. 20 pounds down the drain

We went to the town centre and then we wanted to eat something. However, we end up in the Sam chicken shop. This feedback for who Is in charge of this shop. One guy was at the front counter, speaking his language and chatting with someone on video call. Also very loud. This is very unprofessional service. Also, one more lady was working, putting on headphones and working—staff taking their language and waiting for the food even if it’s ready, but this counter guy was talking and chatting on his phone. * Order some food and fry hot wings were very bad, only single breeding. Ask for water with the meal, but they run out of water. In scorching weather, they run out of water. *I don’t recommend this Sam chicken shop to anyone. The service was horrible, and even the food wasn’t that good. Staff don’t know what the customer service men are and no Hello, Thanks are. Whoever the manager, you are losing customers because of your Staff: horrible Chicken shop, this Sam chicken shop.

Pink chicken and tasteless chips - absolutely disgusted. Waste of my hard earned money.

Yesterday I made a delivery from sam’s chicken restaurant. The food was very bad and extremely low quality

chicken was pink raw in the middle of a peri peri chicken burger. Wings were being eaten by staff while talking to me. He just ate a wing then threw it away then got another one and continued talking to me. So disgusting i left right away.

Now put the price up and found this guy a little strange.. I come here regularly from miles away just to eat here but since the staff here I doubt I will be back.. I also found one member of staff eating a full box of food in the kitchen then come out to the front counter still eating.. I think we will find another place to eat now..

Such rubbish ordered a family mix, they gave four dry chicken pieces all of the same type. Wasn’t warm wasn’t even tasty. Really disappointed. When I called to see if they can make any amendments they said to order again :/ no thanks. Awful.

Read some reviews about chicken being raw but ordered regardless huge mistake, Ths chicken was under cooked.

Love my 3 variety wing purchase. All tasty N well worth the money paid.

Food was great, the customer area was dirty, with crumbs on every table, furniture damaged and stains on the wall. I wish the interior matched the quality of the food. The aesthetics of the store is very uninviting.

Hit and miss with this place. Usually order from the Tooting branch but last 2 weekends I've gone to the Croydon one on my way home. First week order was great, got exactly what I asked for. Second time not so good. Said more than once no salad on burger and extra mayo and staff even asked me again if no salad. Repeated what I wanted only to find when I got home that the burger had salad and no mayo. Chicken wings weren't great either. Will be going back to the Tooting branch

Ordered burger and chicken meal deal with extra sauces and an ice cream. Only got delivered sauces and ice cream. Who only orders sauces and ice cream?!? After contacting them they told me to place another small order and then to call them which order it is so they'll add my missing items and some extra fries. So I ordered salad which costed me 10£ coz the fees and gave them my new order number........but after waiting another hour I only got delivered salad lol. I tried to call numerous times but no one picked up anymore..... So I ended up having salad and ice cream for the dinner. Lovely. And by the way the vegan ice-cream I ordered wasn't vegan! .......I also deleted my deliveroo account after this as their customer support didn't help.

A while ago I was captivated by Sam's drumsticks bucket which seemed a good deal but as I have never tried Sam's I wasn't sure if their chicken was good. Finally went to Sam's for their fried chicken but I think I went the wrong time as the chicken was a bit cold and dry. I am glad I only got one piece on my first visit and didn't get the bucket. Although I wasn't impressed with the chicken I still want to try the katsu curry rice. A few months later, I tried the katsu sauce because I was having fish and chips. The taste of the sauce was rather acidic but I think it is because of the fruity elements that make up the katsu sauce.

Absolutely vile. Chicken is undercooked and cold. Should be investigated by Health & Safety!

Ordered food from this place, big mistake! They sent the wrong wrap, when I called they were lovely and said they would send a new one, they didnt. I called the next day and was told they would send the wrap with free wings for my inconvenience. The wrap came with salad after I specified no salad so again I called and got told not to order from this place again and that I was wrong and had the phone put down on me so I called back and tried to address that she was extremely rude to just hear the same thing again. No apology for their mistakes. Extremely rude people work here that need a lesson in customer service. The food is overpriced and not worth the money.

Very average food quality is pretty bad

Pls do not order from here. The chicken fillet burgers were uncooked. The chicken strips were undercooked and white. I rang them and the guy was so unhelpful and said it is all cooked in one temperature. Not willing to help or apologise. Very rude. I ended up putting the chicken products in the bin and just had the fries which had gone cold. Really bad service. Won't ever order from here again.

It takes ages to prepare something, sometime more than 20 mins waiting

Useless delivery drivers... Waited 2 hours for nothing... Had to order from somewhere else... Will NEVER Order food from these again because they're useless and I'm gonna post my review all over Facebook too...

The manager is very rude. I was not happy with my order I called and she hang up on me 3 times. I will never order from them again. She didn't want to hear what I had to say. DON'T GO TO SAM'S IN CROYDON!!!

Placed an order nothing turned up....so 1 star is generous.....

Placed an order with them and their driver cancelled on me without notifying anyone, then tried calling them and no one answered. Food's great, but online/phone service just drags years of experience straight through the mud. Disappointment doesn't come close to how I feel right now - truly heartbroken.

I ordered 15 Peri Peri wings and a diet 7up. Food was excellent, service was brilliant. I will be coming here again. Also, props for being open during the social isolation / quarantine period, lots of places are closed out of fear more than anything, but people have to eat. Not everyone can cook for themselves.

People I know always end up with dodgy tummy after eating here, myself included. Tried a few separate times to make sure it wasn't just me, but inside the chicken fillet burger is always pink now for some reason and sometimes there is actual spots of blood. Definitely not safe, always leaves me feeling ill!

Chicken dry, hard and tastes nothing like how Sam’s chicken should taste. Sam’s chicken was a place you only saw in nw London, so it was nice to see it in Croydon. Unfortunately it doesn’t quite cut it.

Order peri peri chicken burger and fried chicken pieces, shockingly disappointed with what was delivered. Just 2 small thin strips of chicken and mayo in the burger. Chicken was too small to cover the bread-tasteless. Won’t recommend!

Good deals as always, but on today's visit the seasoning on the spicy chicken wasn't up to par lacking a lot of the usual wholesome flavour. But it was as crispy as ever.

Very disapointed! Missing order. When I contacted the resturant, I was told to complain to Uber eats. Thats the level of customer service one gets. ofcourse Uber eats stated they delivered as given to them from the restuarant! So My daughter missed on her order - the chicken wrap. Not intending to use again.

Where do I start, I placed an order had 60% of my order missing when it finally got delivered and to add to the atrocity it smelt horrible, turns out the rice was out of date. I tried the burger and it had no relish just salad and slightly cooked raw onions with beef tasting abysmal Angus beef more like anhuus beef. Really gave me an upset stomache the following day. I wouldn't recommend anyone to try there food you better off eating a half dead pigeon from the local park or a pair of discounted flip flops from Primark. Please stop offering this atrocious monstrosity fast food to the kind paying public.

absolutely applauing service. staff were very rude and had no idea what they were talking about! The food was extremely standard and for the price; definitely NOT worth it. They claimed to have homemade relish in their angus beef burger and all it came with was mustard and raw onions, with salad! I would strongly advise for people not to order from here as you will be throwing your disposable income down the drain as well as having a terrible experience.

When I first placed an order from this place they brought a rice box that has just expired 2 days ago, how great when you can read it on the rice box. I’ve decided to give this place another chance as I thought the wings were still quite nice, I went to the chicken shop few days later with my friend after a night out. We placed an order and sat down, meanwhile the staff members were speaking in their language, and spoke to us in rude tone,no customer service. The food was alright but I will no be returning somewhere where I spend money so I can be spoken like that.

Excellent service and delicious food

Not a bad place for a quick eat. But, you know what you're getting as you walk in. There are no significant surprises with the food. From the counter, the kitchen appears clean, and the staff were relatively efficient.

Honestly, was after a night out and wanted something non-kebab...food was excellent and the Mexican range of burgers were brilliant! I had both lol, staff were friendly. I will be going back hopefully sober!
