McDonald's in Croydon

Food is cold. Me and my friend waited almost 30 minutes to get our order, almost every order before us had something wrong with it and it was wrong, absolutely chaotic.

The food tastes amazing here, and the service is really fast. The workers are extremely kind, caring, and always willing to help. The restaurant itself is positioned in the centre of Valley Park, which is really convenient. I had a day out with my friend and came here for a quick bite, and the price was really cheap.

Waited a long time for our food which isn’t a problem.. but the food was stone cold

Did the drive thru.. told to move to the next window twice… Waited for over 10 mins for our order.. Saw 2 cars behind receive their orders. I went up to window behind and asked where our food was and was told they had to cook the hash browns fresh… I said if I was told that at the start then fine, but was told to move to the next window twice thinking I was collecting. Poor service / communication .. not impressed

As usual the McDonald’s was cold on delivery although your courier was at the restaurant for about half hour

Absolutely horrendous! The staff there are rude. Waited ages for my meal as they was serving the drive through and delivery drivers instead of the customers in shop. Rude and food was stone cold!

This McDonald's has the best tasting food of all the McDonald's in the area (except Church Street) but damn they are slow. Your order will likely take 10 minutes or more to come out, regardless of whether you are first , second or third in the queue. I've had 20 minute waits here when it hasn't been busy.

I have to say this will be my first review that will be mostly negative. I rarely use fast food outlets but this one was handy whilst we shopped locally. We arrived about 1pm when it was actually quiet on Wednesday. I noticed that there was no serving counter (Reminds me of an Argos) You order from a machine and wait for your number to come up when they bring out your order to a Hatch. We sat outside as it was a nice day. It was then that I found out why I don't use fast food outlets. The chips were hard and cold. The Coke tasted absolutely horrible and the Big Mac was so bland I didn't know what I was eating. On the order board it showed I had a choice to have a sauce on the side with my burger so I declined. However I didn't know that you actually didn't get any sauce on your actual burger so mine was plain and dry. From experience I have learned never to return food and complain as you never know what they might add to your replacement so instead I left the coke?? And most of the chips eating just the plain burger. Disappointed to say the least. I doubt I will frequent that establishment again.

The driver called me from the next road to say he could not find us and by the time he did get here, our food is now not hot, or even warm.

Absolutely awful restaurant used it 3 times in the last few months awful every time. Today I waited 20minutes for my order! Got to the table and the wrong thing was in it went to back to counter to swap very slow on the counter waited another 10mins for them to appear with my burger! I had to ask a few times what was going on. She laughed at me When I pointed out everyone was finishing and I was still waiting. Appalling. I wasn’t the only one waiting for long periods of time. Bins overflowing, toilets disgusting! Understaffed!

The patty was way over cooked incredibly dry the cardboard it came in was more moist than the burger the fries were cold and limp and there was no dip which was very much needed with that burger

An absolute shambles today, popped in for lunch before bowling and my order ended up being given away to somebody else? As the order point had no till roll I had no receipt to show my order - had to go through the app to prove I had made one. Another wait (Almost missed our bowling session) then a burger so dry I could have used it as a doorstop. Next time I'll go to Marlowe Way - no issues there.

One item “oasis” missing one coke spilled all over my carpet all the food crushed in the bag! If you can’t afford to offer a delivery service you shouldn’t do it and get paid for it an extra!!!!! Absolutely rubbish

After renovation, it seems service has only become more slow. While there are many touch screens now, they cannot handle the number of orders coming in. For people with time pressure like workers on a break, this is the worst of nightmares. The food is okay in typical McDonald fashion.

Order took 1 hour to arrive, it was picked up at 12:23 and not delivered until 13:05 at which point everything was cold, even the ice in drink was melted. A £4 credit doesn't cover the fact all food is cold.

Wait times at the drive through are unnecessarily long. We were queuing for 20 mins with 3 cars in front for a two nugget meals! They did not utilise their grill bays.

Order came on time but pancake syrup and cutlery were missing. Pancake was cold and dry sausage was burnt and way too dry.

The food arrived and was really hot, the chips were still crispy, usually by the time the chips arrive they’re soggy but these were great. Well packaged and everything was there

Okay, so it's a McDonalds! But I have to give 5 stars for the service at the drive through as I ordered 16 happy meals plus a few other bits and the order was dealt with promptly, it was all correct, the staff were friendly and the food was hot! Thank you! If I'm honest, I thought I would be sent to a 'waiting bay' but I wasn't. Very impressed!

Delivery Driver was polite and respectful unlike some that I have had in the past

It wasn't delivered. Delivery driver called and hung up Everytime I answered. Refused to answer when I called back. Bike on map stopped round the corner when I went round to follow up they were gone and stayed delivered.

Cold fries no salt, you can tell the fries had been sitting around. Beef patty had a chunk missing out of one. Bannmilkshake taste like vanilla no flavour

Horrendous experience. Beep beep beep beep... Turn off your annoying alarms instead of just letting them beep constantly. Not relaxing never mind if you work here. Zero customer service now. You literally are dealt with via a hole in the wall. Takes forever to get your order. Absolute shambles. On top of that, they say your order is ready to collect when it's not and clear the order off as collected. This is so they can manipulate their order times. You don't have enough staff and the staff you have are too slow. Waited 20 mins for a wrap.

Did a drive though, no one at the pay part, so drove to the next window and then lady shouted at us from the pay window as we waited "you gotta pay!" , maybe it would have been better if she was at the window and not had it closed then! we had to reverse, with a car behind, soo bad!

This order was so bad, I ordered my food, the delivery man was out for delivery, he drove past my house and round the corner and delivered my food, he put it down as delivered but I never received my food. I would like a refund on this order as I never received anything

Since they rebuilt this McDonalds, they've redesigned it with a very utilitarian look. Lacks personality. That said, the staff were friendly enough and the restaurant had plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Ordering done by touch screens. Food arrived quickly. You purely come here if you want the food. There is no atmosphere of a restaurant at all.

Best place to get late night snack or kebab very pleasant chairs. Ergonomic.

Waited over 20 mins for my order. Only 3 other customers in the restaurant. Food arrived cold. Staff cannot speak English. Can't complain to McDonald's unless you send them your receipt. So posted complaint on here iinstead

Thus newly renovated McD is way better than it was before. Lots of indoor and outside sitting space and also self-ordering machines are now installed. Good option for a quick grab when in valley retail park.
