We pitched up a Sunday evening without booking and were warmly welcomed. All four of us thoroughly enjoyed our food, the relaxed atmosphere and the service from the friendly staff.

I just love this restaurant! Service is super friendly and the food is always delicious and fresh. I started with the mussels which were absolutely delicious. Plump and in a very tasty broth. My husband had oysters on the half shell which he reported were also delicious. I had the pancetta wrapped cod for my main course. Absolutely fabulous! Hubby had the seafood stew which I know was delicious since I’ve had it before!

Mishnish Restaurant

04/06/2019: We had lunch here on our day's drive around Mull off the Oban ferry. Well-located pub with good beer and decent pub grub. Parking fairly easy and free nearby
18/05/2019: As the main restaurant was fully booked (as were most of the restaurants in the town that night) we decided to try the bar food which was very good. As with many pubs you place your order for food and drink at the bar which you pay for, you are given your cutlery , sauces and a wooden spoon with a number on it, you then sit where you like and the food eventually arrives. As it was a lovely evening we sat out side in the small courtyard near to the back of the pub. My wife started with the seafood chowder which was full of pieces of white fish and salmon and was served with an olive bread. She thought it was excellent i ordered the smoked salmon pate which was served in a small ramekin with oat biscuits. The pate was slightly on the runny side but was full of flavour. For our main courses we both had the fried haddock with chips and peas which was excellent except that the batter on both dishes was undercooked in parts. The fried fish portion was very large and the fish had been perfectly cooked. Despite the pub being very busy the service was good. We had a bottle of the Spanish Verdejo which was excellent and like the meal itself excellent value for money
