If you like your deli meat cut a certain way, DO NOT go here, 3 times I asked for my salami thinly sliced & just 100g, I got 278g of the thickest cut slices I’ve ever seen, after saying again I wanted thinly sliced I was told take it or leave it, I left the whole basket I had, just plain RUDE

Great Sicilian deli I found it by chance whilst staying in a flat nearby and had to go back every morning for coffee, bakery and groceries plus chit chat Very good selection of high quality, hard to find, Italian products Or just great coffee and a bite to go Family owned, with a great atmosphere Not to be missed if you are in the neighborhood

Italian name, but far from nice italian manners. I have visited many italian delicatessen shops in London and I never felt as unwelcolme as I did in Salvino.

Been there to buy some specialities. The shop is nice, well merchandised and full of Italian products. You can find some rarities, from sauces, pastas, tuna, biscuits and mixed cold cuts. I wanted to buy some cold cuts so I ordered a hundred grams of coppa. After that the person behind the bar starts insisting asking what else I wanted to order. At the third time I decided it was enough, I bought only that coppa and left the shop. Very good shop, terrible staff. I am not sure I will return to this place.

I visit this deli now more often then usual and I normally pay 4-£5 for a bag of frozen pasta which is never labelled but today guy in the till decided to charge me £7.99 and insists on cash. Didn’t want to stop and ask because of a lockdown and not comfortable to stop and chat and not keep the distance. But left a bad taste and something they should look into. Felt ripped off

Salvino n'est pas un restaurant mais un magasin de spécialités italiennes avec des produits d'excellente qualité: charcuteries, fromages, vins, pâtes fraiches . Allez y en fin de semaine, il y a beaucoup de produits frais et des desserts!

great selection of hams and cheeses, friendly staff, but, a big BUT, they have some annoying practices. If you ask for 200 grams you are guaranteed to get 250/300, if you fancy some olives they will shovel huge amounts into the container, you can't see the weight of the ham/cheeses on the scales because no matter how far you bend your neck you cannot see the digital display, the goods on the bargain table are cheap because they are low quality rather than genuinely reduced. They are a friendly bunch and their products are well chosen BUT these practices lead to a feeling that ones pocket is being picked. So rather than a regular enjoyable visit I only go when I can no longer resist their delightful wine.

What an amazing deli. Always greeted with a smile😄 by the owners. Best place in North London for Olives, cheese & cured hams. Fresh pastries daily are extremely tasty. Great ciabatta & lots of antipasto choices. Good value & nothing is overpriced. You've got to go & check it out!!

Nothing to complain in regards to the products' range or the quality of the fresh meat and cheese they serve, some of the stuff for sale are really hard to find elsewhere in London. The set up is authentic, you really feel you are visiting an Alimentari shop in Italy, the atmosphere is always very "picturesque" and if you are lucky you may witness a singing performance from the guys behind the counter. The only thing that drives me mad it's that too many of the "buy by weight" products have no price tag so you end up paying random prices for the same item during different times in the day. For example you can literally pay £3.9 for a sandwich on Monday to then pay £5.5 for the same sandwich on Tuesday. This didn't happen once but many times so I can say this with certainty. Other than this the place is cool and you will certainly find what you are looking for. I strongly advise to try the home-made ravioli ... they are truly good .... but maybe agree on the price in advance :)

Good selection of Italian pastries and bread. Charming staff, always up for a smile or a witticism. Some items (i.e. Mulino Bianco biscuits) are overpriced compared to other venues.

It's okay not to fancy, just a solid place to seat down , Dont get five star meal . Basic place , and you have to remind your order .

Finally I found the 'Abbracci'! I was very pleasently surprised when I found out they had Mulino Bianco products, impossible to find in UK supermarkets. Staff is welcoming but some products on the pricey side... Definetely worth a visit passing by, a true Italian headquarter.

Sage & Chili Restaurant in St Giles Hotel 30 April. We ate Fish & Chips which were absolutely excellent. What gives the restaurant full marks is the waiter Anand Ravald. Really someone who has figured it out with good service and attention in a positive way. He made our simple meal the best that day with his demeanor. We would very much like to return and can recommend the restaurant with reasonable prices and good food.

Great service from Maria and Maria (yes, there’s two of them working 😁). Food is generic. Affogato is generic ice cream and coffee, same with the cheese pizza.

The pizza is quite enough for an average adult to finish. It cannot take away since there are museum gallery right outside the store.

A nice little place to have a drink. Got served by a Liam who was a pleasant efficient barman. Don't mind going back there again.

Tried this restaurant as it was round the corner from our hotel and we weren't disappointed. Very good value for money and perfect service from the friendly waiter. We had the Basilcata Tagliatelli and Pollo Milanese accompanied by some garlic bread.
