We have the specials when we buy from the salt & vinegar chip shop, the food is great and the staff are very friendly, I would recommend buy from them every time

I would much rather be writing a good review, as in the past I would have done. It is with regret I am writing this. We had chicken meat and chips, 2 portions. The meat was mostly inedible, to say it was burnt is an understatement. This is not the first time this has happened, tonight was worse that other weeks, at £7.50 per portion, just disgraceful. We will have to reluctantly go elsewhere.

Chips had a weird taste to them, they were dry and warmed up no doubt from the day before when I worked in a chip shop we threw out old chips!!! Worst chips I ever tasted they made me and my kids sick. We ordered online so can't say anything about the shop itself but we won't be ordering again there's plenty of other chip shops around who can cook fresh chips ready for opening time!!!! Plus this is the second time we have had nasty warmed up stuff from this place so no it wasn't a one off!!!

An hour and a half for delivery, chips were Luke warm and rubbery, very disappointing appears to have gone down hill as used to be great

Came in during last week for the first and even tho it was very busy all of my standards were met. A young girl named nicola i believe was on the till and looked very busy. She took her time to help me and have a conversation with me. The customer service is incredible and the food wow it was great! Hot tasty and filling! Due to the staff service and food i will most definitely be returning!

I like the way they do the Chips here slightly crispy and cooked in smaller batches so there fresh rather than soggy , good portion size The service has always been excellent, Update April 2023 , mixed kebab delicious

Portion size is amazing, food is delicious, customer service is amazing, whenever I've ordered via foodhub it says it will take longer than it does but that's down to the app not the venue

Felt ripped off when I realised that 10% off for online orders was a lie. On the app the prices are much higher than in store upto nearly a pound more per item and they have cheek to charge 50p service charge. #rippedoff food good people good don't use online service food hub and store ripping you off

The boss Woman behind the counter is very rude and has a serious attitude problem.

Both chicken burgers were anemic and the lettuce was brown and mushy. The chips were barely cooked and very soggy, chucked the lot of it away. Never again

Says it is open during the day... just went there shutters down ...closed

Had a little problem with what we ordered but a simple call and was sorted with a refund and offer of a new meal not a bad service at all thank you for you super fast service 😀

First time ordering from them (delivery). Really pleased with the food quality and delivery service. Very large portion of chips, not soggy, crisp batter on the fish, excellent donner kebab. Pleasant delivery chap. Simple ordering system. One star off as the info service was still showing order being processed when it arrived at the door.

Not been here for some time,Decided to try again,But unfortunately still seems the same,No customers in shop but have to wait nearly 30mins for a burger,5 staff behind counter??

Good food for sure. Burgers are awesome. It Is little long waiting time for food(20-30min) but is worth it. High recommended.

The cod although nice, the batter was soggy and impossible to easily remove the paper. Tasted nice enough though. Cheers
