Was out first time using this cafe. We used the qr code on table to order food and drinks. The food came first and we were waiting for drinks only to be told we need to go to till as sometimes the system doesn't show the full order. We then had to ask multiple times for knives and forks so we could eat. The fish and chips was bland, no taste at all and didn't come with tarture sauce even though we asked for it. The woman who served us was very miserable too, she seemed like she didn't want to be there.

Oh boy, where do I start? The Hub supposed to open at 11.00am, so I strolled in at 11.07. One gent was waiting for his order when I got there. Behind the counter were three members of staff who totally ignored me whilst I stood there for well over a minute. I eventually asked the one staff member (who was laying cakes out in the display area) if the place was actually open, she rolled her eyes and said it was, but she was preparing the display area. So, I continued to stand there, and continued to get ignored until the cake and pastry anrranger eventually hinted to the girl near the till that I may wish to be served. I then politely requested a cinnamon bun and a cappuccino grande. However, I was then informed that they had no ordinary milk available - as in no skimmed milk, semi-skimmed milk or full fat milk. So, I opted for a soya milk substitute, though I was sorely tempted to state the obvious, and ask why one of them couldn’t simply walk a few metres into one of the Sainsbury’s aisles and come back with a few bottles of ‘real’ milk. At no time did any of the staff apologise for the wait, or the inconvenience caused by not being able to fulfil my very basic order. Needless to say, I can’t see myself ever returning….

Petrol station at sainsburys Bentley bridge Hubby paid for petrol at pump, card refused so he went inside to pay - which is ridiculous that you have to go inside to pay, when trying to pay at pump! Told my cashier issues with card payments today- he then checked his bank few hours later.. card that was refused had £85 deducted! & the other card he used to pay AT THE TILL had £100 Deduced?! The bill was only £20! So now we’re £165 down until the bank takes it out of pending transaction!? Absolute joke!! Will NOT be using sainsburys petrol again! Be wary!

I went into Sainsbury's this morning for breakfast it was 11:30 a.m. the breakfast was to take out, when i got it home, the hash browns were way over cooked . the eggs were like rubber the sausages were that hard you could not even hit them with a hammer, they were that disgusting, for £10.50 it was a waste of money as it was inedible. It looks like the food had been standing that long and it was extremely hard and inedible, food should be cooked to order, there was hardly anybody in the restaurant and I was the only one at that time ordering food so there was no excuse for it to turn out the way it did

Went to the cafe to get a cream tea which was advertised as available all day. All staff ignored us even though there was only one person ordering and three staff employed at the till. We asked one of them that were there any scones left and she stared blankly at us and said No, sorry. So, the food that was advertised as available all day was not available and the staff treated us like they wished we weren't there. We went and purchased pre-made creamy, jam scones from the store and went home to have them with a cup of tea. My advice is, go to the Tesco cafe, much better service.

Absolutely shocking waited a hour to order to be told a hour to get the food. And by the way we don't have the stock in for what you want. Would save your time and money and somewhere else.

Not up to mark for a short stop while shopping in store and inside Argos. Looks over priced as well. Just okay if you don't have choice.

Last minute decision to have breakfast here, we have been a couple of times before and not been disappointed.I had the smashed avocado on sourdough bread and daughter had the breakfast sausage baguette. While I was waiting for our cappuccino and tea the waitress came out with our breakfasts. Both were very good,I had never had the avocado and sourdough before but I would have it again.£8.40 is good value for money for a quick breakfast.

I always enjoy visiting this restaurant and my most recent experience was no exception. There wasn't really a queue to be served on this visit but when there is a queue, you do always get served quickly. There are a good choice of menu options and a comprehensive allergen menu is available on request. The staff were friendly and approachable. There is always somewhere to sit in the large, open cafe area. There are very large windows on two sides with views over part of the town. These also further add to the light and pleasant atmosphere. I think it's a nice touch that they have some newspapers available in the seating area for you to look at while you are waiting for your order to arrive but this very rarely takes long. Any expected delays have always been mentioned before my order is taken. The food is always fresh, delicious and in my opinion provides excellent value for money. I would highly recommend this particular Sainsburys Restaurant and will continue to visit it.

I’m not sure why so many bad reviews. I had a superb toasted bacon sandwich with a mug of tea and a cheeky piece of chocolate or two! It’s so cheap too and great to people watch as there is always someone dressed like the old guy out of shameless.

I paid £16 for a 'freshly made' tuna and Sweet corn baguette.. and a hot beef sandwich.. Tuna baguette came out and wasn't freshly made at all, and was more like a sandwich filler you would find in the shop. I had to take the beef baguette back as it had a hair in and the meat was fatty. When taking it back the customer service I received was appalling, with filthy looks and a shake of the head, because I had complained. When your paying for over priced baguettes, you expect better quality food and better customer service. Won't be eating here again.

I went with my sister and brother, all three of us had a baguette, we initially wanted chicken baguettes but we were informed that they were out of chicken so I chose the beef baguette instead. After a long wait for a smoothie that we had ordered, the food arrived almost immediately after we sat at our table, making their 'freshly cooked' claim rather questionable. The beef baguette was extremely hot suggesting it had been heated in a microwave, and the beef itself was fatty and processed like that from a pack of precooked sandwich filling, not only that, there was a hair sticking out of the end of it. My sister took it back after spending £16 on all of our meals and asked for a refund, she had no response other than a head shake and £3.50 given to her in change, bearing in mind she paid on card. If the low quality and overpriced food wasn't enough to put us off, the rudeness and ignorance from the staff will ensure that we won't be coming back.

Used the cafe for lunch on Saturday it really is self service as I had soup slopped into a bowl all running down the side with no attempt to clean it. Asked & paid for a gluten free roll, 5 mins later was told there were none with no attempt to offer me a refund. Went to fetch two pots of tea from the next counter, asked for it and they looked blankly at me, told them that I'd paid for it so they eventually made it & gave it to another customer. Had to pour my own milk into a jug as I was offered none. Very rude staff very poor service.

I ordered a jacket potato with cheese and beans, which I have often ordered from this particular Sainsbury's cafe. I ordered this as a takeout, only to get home and find that there was no cheese or salad (usually comes with a salad). This cafe used to be great but recently there are always long queues or they don't have certain items on the menu in the cafe. Sainsburys really need to evaluate and refresh this cafe. Not worth coming to for food anymore. Staff are friendly though.

Rude staff in the cafe, really rude. First, have some respect, second, be polite and third, the cafe is not a playground. Don’t hand me my change with loose coins on top of a £5 note, the coins slide off and I have to pick them up. I had to ask, 3 times for my tea after I’d paid for it. The server didn’t even grunt never mind apologise, slammed the tea pot down and walked off. And I am not going to clear my table, frankly thats your job and I don’t get paid to do your job.

Came here for a spot of breakfast which was very nice and served by a friendly member of staff but this was somewhat spoilt by the messy tables and more so the table right in front of me wasn’t changed and still hasn’t been changed throughout the 45 mins I was killing time here before seeing a client.

Stopped here to grab a cooked breakfast whilst in the area on business. Got to the counter at just on 11.30am and with several people in front of me had a horrible feeling they would not accept my order as breakfast menu is available until 11.30am. However, not questioned at all, so ordered the Big Breakfast and a pot of tea. It arrived a short time later and was nicely presented, looked fresh and well cooked. Tasted lovely, special mention for the sausages !! Good value and would certainly return

We decided to have a spot of lunch here just before getting some shopping. I had an omelette which was slightly small and a little rubbery pretty tasteless. My partner had a baked potato which was tiny (why do this when potatoes are so cheap). My cousin had a little quiche which was supposed to come with potatoes and salad... when it arrived it came with chips! When she questioned the waitress she was told “no we don’t have any of the potatoes left!” Surely she should have been told this when she ordered?!

There doesn’t seem any organisation. They need a good team leader a good manager like Gavin who has moved on.Come on get back to normal and smile a little.

This is a pleasant place to sit and chat when you're shopping. However, be warned that you can't stay more than three hours in the car park without being fined, and they don't accept that you might eat and chat and linger. Over three hours and you get fined. So drink and chat but not too long.

Went to ask at till but queue spoke to waitress who said someone would come later and I told her where I was sitting No 4 in the queue card. Waited another 5 mins (15 in total) heard someone yell 4 and looked around to see another waitress quite a distance a way from me not looking in my direction at all had to chase after her. I explained I had told other waitress where I was sitting and been waiting ages and all she said was we are like ships in the night. Very dissapointed not very hot would have complained there and then but had too good friends with me and didnt want to make a fuss. have eaten here before and always been ok but will never buy hot food from here again.

The staff are very helpful and nothing seems to be too much trouble varied menu of hot and cold meals or snacks. Children well catered for. Prices very reasonable. You may have to wait for your meal to reach you. The fish and chip meal is cooked freshly and this means a wait but the wait is worth it as the meal is delicious. Clean toilet facilities available. Restaurant is within the store. The store is across from the out door market although this will move later in the year.

I have been into this branch on a few occasions hoping that it may improve but unfortunately it just gets worse. Today at 16:20 there was one member of staff on duty. Tables were dirty, empty cups everywhere and the bin overflowing. Another customer came and notified the staff member that the toilet needed cleaning and there was no toilet paper. There was no regular drinks menu on display only one advertising the specials. It took approximately 15 minutes to get my coffee. Shortly after I was served another member of staff appeared however she was too busy texting on her phone to do any work.

It only seems to be nice on a friday. Have tried in the week and on a saturday, bacon is either oinking or if you ask for well done it comes cremated to the point u can snap it in half, the girl on the phone is miserable too, the girl on friday is very polite though! The man who delivers i find can be quite abrupt.
