Sainsbury's Cafe in Craigavon

Went in on 11th January for brunch for my birthday. Several choices we wanted were unavailable. Anything that was on, due to allergies I couldn't eat. Who ever is in charge of the cafe, needs to kick their staff into touch about their attitude and make sure that food stocks are available for most of the day. To top it off, the chef on that day was so rude and told me if I didn't like it, go elsewhere. Took him at his word and did. Complaint lodged too. If I could give zero stars I would do. Won't be back in this cafe.

The service is the biggest issue! We are regulars but it’s so hit and miss. The organisation between the kitchen and the staff is a disaster. I observed staff taking money at the till and then entering the kitchen and handling food preparation! Come on guys .... this is dangerous

For a supermarket cafe it has a fabulous choice very reasonably priced excellent value for money . We were visiting rushmere and decided to have lunch. Staff lovely especially the guy who served us . He was lovely especially with my older relations. We ll definitely be back for another visit. Well done all at sainsburys cafe!!!!

Great wee spot.I go here on a regular basis.on my last visit I decided to try a takeaway fish and chips with mushy peas.it was delicious and I would definitely recommend.Also staff very helpful and friendly.

Struggling to find somewhere to eat in the area, we visited the Rushmere Shopping Centre, it was 18 :45, a Monday,.. there were very few eating places and they were all closed ..we came across Sainsburys, an" oasis in a desert". Is it too late for hot food ?we asked (they close at 7pm. No came the reply. We placed our order. The cottage pie was delicious, so was the omelette and salad along with the tea and coffee.While we were eating 6 other people came in and also were able to order. The service was brilliant, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and at know time did we feel they were desperate for any diners to leave( as you do get in many places near to closing time) A very good meal at a very reasonable price saved the day. Well done Sainsbury's at Craigavon.

Love visiting this cafe in Rushmere. Most of the girls and 1 guy that work there are very pleasant. Nothing too much bother and customer service is excellent.

Food is good but what really sells this place is the staff they are sooooo attentive and polite can't do enough for you!!

My father and I would call in for lunch here almost every Friday and I can't really say to many bad words about the place. The food is nice and most of the time comes out fast enough, they could do more soup flavours and more panini fillings those at the min are very lacking. Staff are very attentive even after you've got your food which is nice. Good wee spot for a sit down before hitting the shops

well i have been here several times when i lived near rushmere. to me it is basic food. wouldnt say the food is disgusting, i would say it tastes ok, the prices are terrible and should be reduced, like sainsburys shopping products themselves and i think the staff here are very tight fisted about their portions. what i mean is sometimes you can get very small portions of food here. the staff are average which means they can be nice on day and off next. would recommend here for a coffee and maybe a bit of lunch!

Worse this visit than last time. We went in at lunch and they had basically nothing. Staff lack charm, manners. If I could give zero stars I would. Give it a miss.

Staff are attentive and food is generally spot on. The one complaint I had with cold chips was rectified pretty quickly.

Most times when we visit Rushmere Shopping Centre we would have lunch in here. The Ham, eggs and chips are to die for and with a couple of slices of bread and a cup of tea, what more could you ask for. They do have a good menu choice but we seem to plump for the same dish most times as we love it. The staff are friendly and the atmosphere is usually vibrant with families, couples, individuals all mixing. It is a nice cafe and doesn't pretend to be a restaurant or something it is not. We do visit here most months and are never disappointed.

Spacious seating area. The choice of food on menu very limited. It takes too long to service an order and generally the counter doesn't flow. Nothing memorable about this visit.

We had a rather long wait on our food. However when it arrived it was extremely hot and reasonably tasty. Other than the wait for hot food, I would go back as it is reasonably priced in comparison to other cafes.

My Husband and I stopped for some lunch whilst shopping. I ordered the lasagne and chips. Chips were ok but the lasagne had to have been microwave lasagne. Flat and flavourless.

In Sainsburys good sellection of fare and very reasonable prices. thre are specials everyday so read the boards as you go in.Informal atmosphere ans staff where very helpful

Called in for lunch on a busy Saturday afternoon. My food was cool to cold by the time I got it and to be frank it was just slapped onto a plate. I have had a few acceptable meals here before but this time I would say the standards were poor.

Basic food and good service what I would expect from a supermarket Coffee is poor quality food is fresh but average service is always friendly and welcoming

Ordered food which took over half an hour to receive it, ordered mushy peas with my fish and received garden peas to which the woman said oh there was no mushy peas left so the woman just put garden peas on instead!! Then the fish was full of oil and had no taste what so ever it was mush! The chips where frozen and the drinks where terrible, service was horrendous and not even an apology for the lateness of the food! Will never be back!

Does not beat Tescos and thats saying something. Lot if microwaved stuff.Terrible froxen chips.Food service slow. Its a bit cheaper than others in Rushmere thats why I visited.But dont go one errand there. Only if stuck and hungry.

Food not up to standard and very slow service. Food dear for wot it is. Kids meal ok .I would say that if you did want something cheap then I would suggest that you do eat there . the food handy for old and young for quick bite and it handy if you are doing shopping.

Frequent,this cafe,on a weekly basis,what it lacks in charm it makes up for,with its Outstanding friendly staff ,Always happy to help,The food is always served hot and quickly,even when they are busy,and their Fish and chips ,are some of the best in the Craigavon Area,and well worth trying,the Cafe,is open plan,and wheel chair friendly,

We unfortunately called into this place three times in the last month. Each time it was circumstances that forced us. On the three occasions there were no staff on the serving area. On each occasion I had to go to the kitchen door and shout to get their attention. When we got the food it was overcooked and totally bland. Possibly the worst cafe I have ever come accross.

The food was cold, took over 35 mins to recieve it without apology, they advertised food then said that you couldn't have it. service was very poor, staff on duty all seemed to have attitude problems in the end e left our food and went somewhere else.

I went for Breakfast in Sainsbury's the other day and was pleasantly surprised. Sometimes you have to wait endlessly for someone to come out of the back and serve, but this time, they came out right away.We sat down and minutes later two superb Breakfasts were served. The staff had actually take the time to make the plates look interesting, which really impressed me. Two large Breakfasts for under £10 and all the table tops were wiped and clean - can't complain at all!
