Sainsbury's Cafe in Coleraine

Called in today and when I got to till lady (used loosely) behind till started shouting about being too close (which I wasn't), I told her I was standing on the 2 metre sign x then shouted at me to get back a bit then when I went to pay she was really snottery xx I don't usually shop in here but after today I won't be back xx

Breakfast visit .Toasted tea cake and mini fry plus tea and coffee. Strange cast up no staff out front, order taken and staff leave the restaurant????? Or so it seems as no food on display and kitchen sealed. Food when arrived had spent a bit of time under the heat lamp, and tea cake had started to curl. Tea and coffee serve yourself from the shelf? Think that a design rethink would be a good idea. I know that supermarket cafes do not have an atmosphere but this he takes the biscuit?

Just had the baked potato prawn filling very poor for price if 5 prawns load of leaves not impressed as a it wasnt a salad I was buying

Visit this cafe quite often when I’m in shopping. There is seldom ant staff on the till. I and other customers usually have to knock on the kitchen door to get someone to come to take the money and order. Food is basic. Prices are high for what you get.

A most satisfying breakfast to start the day! Just across from the Premier Inn where we had stayed the night before.

Avoid if you can. There couldn’t be a “chef” as the food is disgusting even something as simple as soup. Then the chips that I got were hard and cold in the inside. Ate a few bites of each and had to leave it feeling sick. Look it’s a self service cafe sort of but couldn’t even say to anyone there as no one is at the till and took ages to get served in the first place as well.

Had lunch here twice and could not complain, food and prices very good, staffvery friendly and pleasant, would highly recommend

called this morning for some early easter shopping. Went to cafe for quick breakfast. Ordered two breakfast baguettes, one bacon and one sausage with tea and coffee. Cold bacon and sausage served in a "stale" bquette , inedible food drinkable tea and coffee> The food was terrible , came buttered with cold sausage and bacon. Waited to complain but staff hide in Kitchen and after 5 minutes gave up and left. If I was manager I would use space for Tu clothing. My tip go to Mc Donalds , Dunelm , Costa or anywhere else.

Used to be good when it first opened, now is overpriced , no staff, all frozen and reheated food , scones bought in, ridiculous effort....

I visit this cafe normally when I’m in shopping. The food is reasonably good. Menu has been changed so there isn’t a big choice. Prices are reasonable. Service can be slow so not the place to go if you want a quick lunch.

We called in here for a quick breakfast while staying at the nearby Premier Inn because we couldn't justify paying £8.99 for their full breakfast buffet. We each had sausage and fried egg served in a toasted sandwich with coffee. The food was quite good and the staff helpful. There is plenty of parking and because it's part of a Sainsbury store there is the option of doing some shopping if necessary.

The staff in this café are just as bad as the store the café is in, the staff hurled unprecedented abuse towards a disabled member of my party so much so we had to cancel our order and leave. When I tried asking to speak to the manager I get told "the manager is too good to see the likes of you" and then more slurs were used against the disabled member of the party. Will never return ever again!

Sainsburys have reached a new low removing the serviced cafe. Self service machines have replaced the hand made coffee. Staff were friendly and helpful and the toasted snack we had was to a good standard. You can get cooked meals here, so there must be a chef on site.

Spacious café with good value breakfast items, freshly prepared and brought to the table, free newspapers and parking.

Pretty quiet, self service but nice enough for breakfast. Had coffees, parties and fruit with yogurt. Good value.

It's good for quick snack such as tea and sandwiches or hot food to staff are good reasonably quick service

Limited choice and machine used for tea and coffee. Very much a DIY cuppa. The eats are of reasonable quality and the service area is clean and well kept. Good if you only want a quick cuppa.

Tuvimos una comida aquí en vez de ir a un restaurante, y era tan buena como en cualquier restaurante. Buenas raciones de tamaño y la comida caliente. Lo recomiendo.

Food was wholesome and quick. STAFF friendly Pricing very competitive Good menu wheelchairs no worries

Only ever been here once so not much to compare with, it was very clean the food was ok will give it another try if in the area again

We often stop for a coffee and a pastry after shopping in Sainsburys but, to be honest, we have never been tempted to make the cafe our destination. The fare is reasonable and inexpensive and the cafe is generally clean and tidy.

We went here as we were staying in a hotel close by which only served breakfast buffets when we simply wanted cereal and a butty. The food was good but the ladies in the cafe were too friendly for words. It was very clean and spacious with lots of choice. The soda bread was delicious.

I Dont Know What The Person Who Wrote The Negative Review Is Thinking But I can Categorically Say They Are Very Wrong,As My Wife And I Visit This Cafe Regularly And As Yet To Have A Bad Visit.The Food And Staff Are At All Times Top Notch And I Would not Hesitate To Recommend This Cafe To Anyone.So Yah Boo Sucks To You

Very polite staff member who went over and above her duties to make sure everything was ok! Food was hot and freshly made. Good value for money!

Would like to tell you about the food but unfortunately the 2 times we've tried to eat here we haven't been able to find anyone to serve us.We had wanted to have breakfast there. We've knocked on the kitchen door as instructed by a member of staff on a break but on both occasions no-one appeared so we left and went elsewhere.
