4,50 for tuna mayo sandwich x2 plus 140 for a drink x2 should have been 11.80 and no receipt or was asked if we wanted a receipt, we were 15,80 so how come we were over charged? Ok food but watch their pricing

Perfect location. There were 12 of us but it didn't phase them one bit. Food came out in good time, tasted great, and the service was spot on.

I love this little place, it sits, literally right on the beach, there is plenty of seating & both the food & drinks available are delicious, the staff too are brilliant, the owner, Marie is lovely, her staff are a credit to her, always there with a smile to help, highly recommended.

Got some ice creams here whilst on the beach. Like anywhere here the price is at a premium due to the location, but the staff were nice and the portions generous. Worth noting that for both the ice cream shack and the other food shed they only take cash at present.

We stopped by for a coffee and were tempted by the smell of bacon so ordered a bacon sandwich. Served by incredibly sharp tongued lady. Charged extra for sauce AND for cup of hot water to accompany the espresso. I have never, never, never been charged for hot water before!

Typical seaside establishment. Basically a shed by the beach serving very nice food and drink but at a premium due to its location. The views are gorgeous and the sound of crashing waves soothing and relaxing.

I like the bit where it says good for groups. 6 turn up. We put 2 tables together, which were empty. Heard them talking "well im not going to put it back" a bunch of attitude ridden idiots with a bunch of moody teenagers. Good for groups keep your mouth shut next time. Smile. Remember the customer isnt always right but there still a customer. How would you feel been talked about when your paying money to eat out

Overall good, as with NT properties the food range has been reduced post-pandemic but no problem finding a good lunch.

We have lunch with friends every month at this pub and the food is very good. We had a Christmas lunch there and we nearly got the wrong order but no problem as it was just a blip. Apparently the chef wasn't working that day ( or had left), and one of the regular bar staff stood in. A good portion and it was proper turkey, not processed. The roast spuds were good too. Unfortunately the pig in blanket was very hard as if warmed up in a microwave. Yorkshire was soft and chewy and only a stamp size portion of stuffing. Also, it was just warm. My husband had a special burger with the rosemary salted chips as the chips have always been so good. He said they were soft, not crispy as usual. I expect the fact that the chef wasn't available, the staff did their best and they must be thanked for putting themselves out. I hope the chef returns or they employ another one that is as good as the last one because the everyday food is very good. The staff are very friendly and it is a lovely pub and we enjoy having lunch there. For the everyday food I'd give 5 stars.

Prices were clearly advertised but what I got for the money was disappointing. 'Crab & chips' near £14 in a cardboard box was a table spoon of cold crabmeat (I think) on a portion of okay chips. Beer was also hideously overpriced- I mean, it's a hut, the overheads won't be Rick Stein.
