Saifs Grill in Derby

Avoid this place! Ordered from here a while as it was getting late and said delivery time was quick, but we didn't receive our order for almost 2 hours, when we tried to call the take away the phone just rang for 5 minutes before hanging it's self up every time, just when we had given up I get a call on my phone, from a number with a completely different area code, my partner looked out the window and saw them, but then they just sat in the car for another 5 minutes, food wasn't even worth the wait, terrible experience!

SCAM! DO NOT ORDER! Ordered from Uber eats expected to get here at midnight. Didn’t arrive at all and then said they delivered at 2:30am (when they shut but no food was delivered) they are scam artists and scammed me out of £15. Avoid!

Ordered and is forty five minutes late did not even bother ringing me back when I called to see when it would arrive

Ordered food which never came and then tried ringing the shop and driver several times but nobody answered. Please don’t ever order from here as you will most likely never receive your food but still be charged.

Ordered via Uber eats they accepted the order for a collection and took the payment when I went to collect the shutter was fully down and the store was completely closed extremely frustrating

Placed a order on just eat and there a no show rang 15 times and no answer .

I paid with card for order which never arrived. Called restaurant but no one picks up, then tried to call again after 10 min and line was busy for another hour. Wasted 3h in total waiting with no response.

Delivery time is around 2 hours and when it finally comes it is cold, dry and bland. Best to avoid and won’t be eating here again.

Ordered 1.5 hours before the grill closed. Ordered at 4.00 its 6.00 now just received it. Told it will be 20min. Ow yeah I'm getting a refund. 🤔

Terrible, the food took over an hour and a half to get here when it should've taken 20 minutes, by the time it arrived it was cold and tasted awful! Never again!

I had to wait 2 hours to get my food delivered which is just insane. The driver said “we had bare complains” Maybe step up your game then and make sure you dont ignore customers next time Food tasted like it was reheated on a pan with a clipper lighter If all your food is like this then maybe you should find another idea for business as “Fast food takeaway” is clearly and definitely not the one for you guys I will make sure not to order from this place again as it was horrendous Ill spread the word about this place too

Ordered off of Uber eats, where they are called Luigis pizzeria, probably in an attempt to hide all these bad reviews! The food never turned up. Had to jump through hoops on the phone to Uber to get my money back. AVOID THIS TAKEAWAY!!

Worst delivery service expierenced. Order Via Just Eat app. Chose particular restaurant because it said delivery with 30-45 mins , ordered at just after 1am, as soon as I placed the order it said, expected delivery between 2:25-2:55 so longer than originally said, I tried to call the restaurant over 20 times and no one answered, had to wait up after a long shift at work, at 3AM still hadn't been delivered, still not answering the phone despite it stating on the App from 2:35 out for delivery, at 4am after the restaurant shut and I'm still sat waiting did I realise it wasn't going to turn up at all! After looking at the reviews especially on the Justeat App, I can see this is a regular thing for Saifs. Disgusting company, don't take my word for it read the rest of the reviews. Don not order from here save your money and time and patience !

I waited 1hour and 40mins for a delivery of chips and cheese along with a cheese burger. All the food was cold and the chips where hard, I even gave the restaurant a tip. Basically speaking, the food and service is AWFUL!!

Absolutely awful food , was late and range up told 20 mins , 20mins later , nothing , kept calling but no one answers its rude. Eventually came but cold and fish fingers smushed up, salad brown and way too greasy . Disgusting customer service and food

Worst place ever I Oded my food at 9:30 abs waited till 11 and I still didn’t get my Oder I tried calling in the restaurant and they didn’t answer what kind of restaurant are u if ur not going to pick up the phone such a bad service still haven’t received my food I tried calling on a different phone still no answer they basically just took the money and didn’t get my Oder to place so so so rude never ordering from here again

We ordered at midnight expecting it to come at 1-ish we kept asking for updates on Uber eats and whenever we rang it went straight to voice mail. it arrived at 4am when we were asleep and they knocked on the door instead of just leaving it on doorstep like we said to on delivery instructions. The food is dry and flavourless. The pizza is dry and cardboard-like. Mozzarella sticks were also dry and not very nice. The chips were uncooked and yet again flavourless. Very poor customer service. Would not recommend. Find it rude they can’t even answer the phone when our foods 4 hours late. When we answered the door they were rude and blunt.

Don't order off uber eats,they take your money and then say your food as arrived oh and to top it off they said they left food on bin. I have cameras on my house and not one person or car as come up my road so there basically taking money by diseption this is theft!!

Went online for 2 pizzas...website states fast delivery....I'm still waiting 2 and a half hrs later!!!!!!!! I drove to their shop and they had the shutters down with staff inside! I tried ringing them how many times and no answer!!!!!!!!!! Just aswell I opted to pay cash for delivery....never ordering from you again!!!!!

We used to go there very often but it need to be cleaned and they have changed the chef so the curries arent the same anymore

***Saifs Grill have currently moved to Royal Takeaway Peartree Road Derby, was told by owner who owns both businesses they are looking at renovating Saifs Grill as it us currently closed*** I have been eating at this place since it opened. The food is excellent, the staff are very friendly. I took some work colleagues with me and we had the Tawa for 5 people. There was plenty of food for the 6 of us, we managed to finish it all off today. If you have not been then I would highly recommend you try this place out. Good variety of pizzas, kebabs curried and the TAWA. You go to one of these so called posh Indian restaurants and your paying what £25 plus per head without drinks, that's a big bill. I would advise eating at the more local authentic places on Normanton Road.

Disgusting pizza if I could give zero stars I would tasted like old dough hard thin base really is the worst pizza we've had

Food was completely cold and poor quality, pizza had to be binned as it was rubber. Burgers were completely overcooked and burnt, cobs were also overcooked. Appalling service, no one available who spoke English bad service as told manager will call us, but no one got in touch.

Terrible food. Took an additional hour to arrive from when it was meant to. Ended up being cold and with none of the extras I put through. Worst of all when I bit into the pizza there was a hard plastic material in the pizza that cut my mouth. Even though all of this awful stuff happened somehow I was not able to be refunded for this experience. If you want your order to be wrong, late , cold and with probable bits of plastic in it then this place is the one. Never order through uber eats with these guys or you'll be scammed out of your money

Delicious curries and at a very reasonable price! Keema is something you have to try. Keema with 2 Tandoori Roti and you are full.

Food was nice, chilli sauce was nice aswell. Gave me quarter pound cheese burger instead of a half pound by mistake but they sent another burger out QuickTime. Good service

Literally the worst curry I've had. Ordered garlic rice, I don't even know what turned up. And the pasanda was like Tescos economy Masala.

0 Star review as went today with my family, and had a horrible service as my order came wrong as I asked for donner and chicken with chips, salad and sauce and it came with naan and no salad and no sauce and the naan was really cold and hard. My brothers order also came wrong he asked for donner and sheesh with chips and it came as just naan and tikka which was also cold. Did not enjoy my time and neither did my family. Do not recommend it to anyone.

0 stars as the customer service was really bad, we was told that it would be a 15 mins wait however we had to wait 45 minutes for our food. We had no salad no sauce and no cutlery either. Really terrible service and I do not recommend, as I went with my family and did not enjoy it one bit.

I Had the mix platter for 4 and it filled up three of us. The food is not overhyped or fake, it's a good basic cuisine. The atmosphere in the shop is semi restaurant and semi takeaway but the presentation of the dine in meal was worth the wait

Had some food from this place with a couple of friends. I ordered the 'family kebab' for myself. It was just average nothing special. Personally it was too too dry and the naan was too hard to chew. Just another regular Normanton Road takeaway. I don't really have no complaints but can't recommend either.

I have been to their place quite a few times now. Loved their food to bits. Very professional and polite staff. Highly recommend them.

Placed a order yesterday me and my partner had been bad ever since we woke up this morning with bad stomachs.we ordered kebabs both with salad probably had 2 bits of lettuce and were cold when arrived will not be reordering.

Not happy chicken was not grill properly

The food has consistently been good. There was a slight mix up with our online order. Somehow the restaurant did not recieve our order and the payment had gone though. After waiting an hour we decided to go there as their phone lines were also not working. It turned out, they've not been using the online website ordering system for months and they've only been taking orders via phone or through just eat - (I did place my order through food hub also on the 26th Aug) They were very understanding and they prepare our order asap. The food tasted awesome as always and they gave us 2 free drinks as this was meant to be a delivery order. Inconvenient but all ended good 👍🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Very unhygienic Bad service from waiters Dirty plates and cutlery Servers unable to understand english well Food was decent but experience ruined it Went during eat out to help out and they charged full price however they were listed for it online, after an arguement they gave half the money back

Dont deserve 1 star tasteless food , 40 mins late and also another 40 mins to deliver missing order . Frozen veg used on pizza reheated pizza and keema naan dry an burnt. Tamamtoes in salad had tops on them . Just the chips was ok even the doner was undercooked . Taste less food would never order form here again. And trust me when I say this isn't never like me to give a bad review .

This rating does not deserve my 1 star. The food was horrible. Ordered chicken sizzler and the cheese burger, the chicken itself I have no words to describe how it looks, the green peppers were all soggy and black burnt. The cheese gourmet burger had brown lettuce. I called the shop the manager explanation was the lettuce on the burger is because the burger was hot. The chicken sizzler was not given a clear answer but to be told that I shouldn't order anything from them again. Waisted my £20. Regret ordering from them after reading an article about this shop on online Derby evening telegraph news

I did try calling the shop before leaving this complain but I couldn't get throu, regardless how many times I called. I wanted to rectify the situation but i got no answer hence leaving this complaint! I used £20 free voucher for the NHS so I feel bad about complaining but if I would have paid for it I would be fuming. The food was horrible the order was wrong. The food tasted like it's gone off, I didn't even feed it my dog, it went straight in the bin. Definitely will not be going back.

The menu on just eat was very difficult to understand and the manager was very rude and I will not recommend this takeaway and I do have a learning disability which they don't understand and my food was cold when it got to me

Ordered via Uber eats following a busy hospital shift. Waited for 1 hour, food never came with no cancellation/explanation. Very disappointing service to a customer who is trying to help support local businesses during this difficult time.

Grear pizza (much better than pizza hut) and garlic pizza bread, chips like McDonald's which we expected and enjoyed. Cheezy naan was not very cheesy and a bit doughy due to condensation in foil but it tasted ok. Only knocked off a star because I ordered at 6.50 via uber and didn't get the food till 9.25. I think they took in more than they could handle and so fell behind with cooking though our food was fresh so I don't think actually delivery was an issue. Got apology for delay when I rang and delivery driver was lovely too. I appreciate their efforts given I'm stuck in isolation and they are all still working so hard.

Had chronic food poisoning after the curry and rice...it wasn't boiled rice as asked....looks until and will get closed again...sort yourselves out

"chips" were actually fries and the fries were stale, hollow and cold. Curry was nice, though I paid £7.50 for a large and a small tupperware container came so I'm not satisfied.

Very very poor service! The first time I ordered from here the delivery took 2hrs!! Eventually it arrived cold with some order missing!However im forgiving so I forgave them thinking it was a one off thing ,tonight I ordered again and it's been 2hrs my food hasn't arrived again! I've tried contacting them they have disconnected the phone! Totally unacceptable!! Very disappointing

Undercooked lamb chops unacceptable. Hate the fries with a passion. Come on guys your busy enough to invest in some better fries rather than those skinny little things.

Visited Saif’s Grill on Saturday 5th January 2019 with the family. We ordered the 4 person tawa. The food appeared and tasted decent but on the Sunday half the family woke up with food posoining! Shall not be visiting this place again.

Little gem...located near a previous competitor! (Although not anymore!) Perfect location, perfect staff, perfect food and all with a funky edge to it. Toilets had ready to scrawl...

all the food is nice form here took me a bit to taste everything on the menu . was well worth it though. showed a few friends and they living off it now.👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
