Sagar Restaurant in Wolverhampton

We had a family function yesterday. We ordered 5 matar paneer, 5 mix veg, chapattis, tandoori roti, garlic naan's. The people there are useless in the kitchen as well on the front. They firstly put matar paneer cold from freezer which was not good we have to warm that in-front of our guests who are waiting for the dinner. Secondly, they didn't put 5 mix veg which was wrong we came a long way from Stafford Road to collect. After that we ordered garlic naan's and they have given plain naan's and put charges for garlic naan's. I asked for extra large salad but they didn't put any salad. So, we have to order again from somewhere else. I recommend if you are buying something please check everything by opening every containers, breads in-front of them as they don't know how to work. After that if this was their fault but they are not ready to agree that this was their mistake as you have to check everything before leaving. We have guests in the house and they are not ready to deliver as well as this was their fault. They are asking for extra delivery charge from us. At last, I never recommend this for the currys and breads. They can only sell samosa's and sweets. Other things are not for them as they don't know how to pack the other stuff.

Very nice couple years ago . I went yesterday I don't mind waiting I ordered samosas and spring rolls the samosas were very salty.something gone wrong here.

Some of the food is good but others have too much salt in there. Also, even if you pre-order, you still have wait when you get there as they seem to then prepare it on your arrival. Also, at times, you still have to tell the whole order again even though taking the name of the customer would seem more efficient and linking the order with the name. This establishment is not 'pure vegetarian either and have list of meat dishes advertised on a piece of paper on the back wall even though the majority of their orders are vegetarian.

Best samosas and spring rolls in town!!! Best in the game!!! Can’t recommend them enough.. my family are a huge fan off your samosah and spring rolls. We come couple times a month to West Brom and Wolvs store.

I bought samosas and springrolls from them . They gave me sauce it was off . When I called them man on the phone was very rude . Worst sweet shop ever I have been . No respect for customers. Boycott from me and my friends.

I bought Rasmalai yesterday just before the shop's closing time and when I tried it at home it was spoiled which gave a bad odor and didn't taste good. As I'm a customer of this place for almost an Year i simply went to get it replaced and staffs mentioned that their boss will scold if they give a replacement and we should have bought it yesterday itself and I mentioned that the shop was closed at that time and they simply said it's our fault and the Owner's Missus came out and had an Argument with us saying we'll give the money in return and told that we would not serve you hereafter. I calmy said that it is not about the money I just came to get it replaced as i'm a regular customer and she refused to do so and was very rude with raising her voice and saying stuff from her language which we couldn't understand.

There is a lot of diffrence between chilli chicken and the chilli chicken you guys serve(green and red capcicums and tandoori chicken),please change your cheff or stop making people fool if you guys dont know how to make chilli chicken.

Been coming here for years.. always good food. Today I ordered 1/2 kg mixed pakoras. Total DISAPPOINTMENT. Most of them were rock solid, ended up throwing in bin.. seems like they cooked leftovers pakoras from day before in oil again... never ever coming to shop again for pakoras..

So I went to this branch in Wolverhampton and unfortunately I didn’t had any good experience there, due to staff’s rude behaviour towards me basically there was this item which I took it by myself and I know I shouldn’t be doing that but it just skipped out of mind but then on the staff girl started to being shout that I should let them know and I even apologised to her for taking them own my on but she kept going on saying stuff and not only that even afterwards I asked her can I have the other thing she told me in a rude tone that other lady who was serving me already I need to ask her. For real she didn’t even bother to pick the item which was right behind her and put in on the counter which I felt disrespectful but the lady who was serving me tried to make me feel better. Also I never had this kind of problem with West Bromwich branch

Not the friendliest of places. Some of the staff are nice to deal with. Others are unfriendly. Some of the food is amazing. Don’t like the fact that you have to wait 15-20 mins if you order somasas as they never seem to have any ready. The chutney is amazing! They really need to MOVE the sweet stuff from the top of the counter as it faces directly into the faces of people ordering the food. Would never purchase the sweets as so many people have breathed on them. Could do with having a neater shop as very plain & boring looking.

Not good, 2 time from food i found hair . Theare is 1 man is ok ,1 women never cover her head .sometime outside sometime in ketchen. She must cover her head.

I had some chicken it was uncooked and some pakoras which were half cooked why would you give half cooked pakoras stay clear

We have been coming to this shop for years and I have to say the samosa are absolutely disgusting now. They’re no taste, just potatoes! Couple of years ago they were so tasty with more veg fillings, now just potatoes.

Tasty veggie samosas, with assurance of being prepared and cooked separately to meat.

They do best kulcha here not many places familiar with taste of Kulcha it's not amritsari kulcha it's different one must say it's pukka! Kulcha is expensive for £2.50 they should just make it little cheaper. That's why 4 stars but other prices of their food is good.

They offer the best authentic Indian food. Samosas are incredible.

Customer service is awful, bought some rasmali, it was rasmali in rasgulla water so I called and asked what had happened then lady insisted it was nothing to do with them, then went on to blaming the chef at that time when she could have just replaced it as she then said she knew what was wrong with the food and still sold it.

Food is not nice Same stuffing using in samosa,paratha,amritsari kulcha potatoes and pinch of salt, tried paneer,bread and gobi pakora just one slice paneer or etc and tonnes of basan disgusting

Good service and food. Samosa is best in town. But everytime have to start placing order from scratch when you reach there even you have placed order on phone. They are too busy, it could be the reason or they don’t remember anything. So please get some orders ready before person arrives.

I waited amongst others in a 50 minute long queue whist people who ordered over the phone were able to walk in and their orders were not ready. I questioned this and they said they took orders over the phone allowing people to skip the queue. When I was I finally served, my order of rasmalai was awful and had gone off. When I returned it, the worker asked if I wanted something else to which I requested my refund. Disappointed that there was no acknowledgement of their error or compensation. I'm not going there again.

Not good. Pakoras although tasty on 1st bite but were raw dough in the middle A real shame. . I wasn’t really looking at the Dhokla (yellow spongey savoury cake ) being packaged up but they were stale and hard. Even discoloured! Not acceptable.
