Rubbery chicken, worst fish curry we have ever had with fish that was half cooked, no flavour whatsoever. Please avoid this place at all costs.

The worst Indian food I ever had. Dry tandoori, sugary paneer makhani and the worst keema naan ever had. When spoke to the chef, he goes this is how we make all these foods and this is what all british people likes to have. Can’t belive his response. He has no regrets whatsoever. Pathetic food. Will never ever order from this restaurant.

Such a shame that I have eaten only 2 times from Saffron. The food is well portioned at a good price but it lacks taste. Such a shame :(

Just in the area and gave this place a try. Chicken pakora was poor (dry) with no accompanying dip. Currys were okay but I had 13 pieces of chicken and my wife only had 8. Rice was nice and a good portion. Garlic naan was lovely and soft but needed more garlic. Will give it 1 more try and hopefully they can redeem themselves.

Saffron Takeway 21:37 Hi ordered tonight, my chicken tikka massala was terrible the chicken wasnt chicken tikka not marinated just chucked in a tikka sauce, chicken monsorri was watery the rogan josh extra hot was normal, eve n the tarka dahl was tasteless. I understand you was busy but £30 for that comon guys.. where is your care for the food..

Had previously used this takeaway before and they had been great. Ordered a takeaway tonight using their website which is very slow and you would think it wasn’t working properly but miraculously the food arrived a suspiciously rapid 25 minutes later. There was no 10% discount that was advertised on the menu. Delivery woman claimed not to know about any discount. The popadums were stale. No sauces with onion bhaji. Bag of soggy hot lettuce. Chicken nilgiri starter was 4 very salty dyed green lumps of sponge. No mint flavour at all. Chana masala watery and lacking any flavour. Chicken fried Rice was bland although being the most expensive rice. Chicken Dhansak was in the same watery sauce as the chana masala - not a sweet and hot sauce. It contained dry and old tasting lumps of indiscriminate ‘meat’ which made me literally sick. I think I may send it to a lab to be examined! Nothing tasted fresh and the woman who delivered it didn’t even thank me for the tip. Do not use this place they don’t deserve to be in business.Totally grim! Have gone seriously downhill. Don’t touch with barge pole! Rip off!

Ordered a takeaway on their website, payment taken and order successful, advised it would be 1 hour. Order never arrived, when called the very rude lady told us that our order had never been submitted. We had a confirmation that the order had been received and payment taken. Been ordering here for a long time. They didn't even offer an apology just shouted down the phone. Spend your money somewhere else, there are better takeaways. Customer service. - ZERO!!

We order from Saffron’s for delivery. We ordered our food at 19:15 and 2 hours and 2 phone calls later it finally arrived. I’m sorry to say it was not worth the wait, the food was bland and Luke warm. Very disappointing! The customer service was as bad as the food, when we called to ask where are food was, we got informed that they did not were the driver was or how long our food would be, not even an approximate time could be given. After a second phone call, at nearly 10pm it finally turned up. 70% of the food went in the bin. Even our dogs turned their noses up at it.

Or it’s tough times and businesses are losing money right left and centre. But to close your shop and tell no one, is wrong ESPECIALLY when they are still taking online orders and payment with no refund! Shocking. Such a shame as they are by far the best Indian in Farnborough. However it is not acceptable to take people’s money no refund and no food. How many more have been ripped off..... I wonder! Shocking!

On 2nd April I made a £30 online order as it was my husbands birthday and being unable to go out due to lockdown the food was to be delivered. The online site took my order and card payment and stated delivery would be 45-60 minutes. After 90 minutes I telephoned but it just rang out. Eventually we drove there to find a note on the door saying closed until further notice. The line rings out and the online site is now down. Ive emailed 4 times - no response.Very disappointed as we always used them but will not again.

My son ordered a take away from here to celebrate my 40th birthday, he wanted us to have a nice family meal seeing as given the current lockdown situation we could not eat out in a restaurant, only for him to feel he had let me down! He ordered the food off the website at 18.30 and was given an estimated time of delivery for 19.30 after the website said the restaurant has accepted the order! At 20.30 we had still not received our order so decided to call Saffron, sadly after multiple phone calls not once was our call answered! We ended up having to order from a different company. After sending an email, further phone calls the following day and messaging saffron we still are none the wiser on what happened to our order! My son is nearly £30 out of pocket!!! I have ordered from Saffron multiple times and never had an issue before, so was completely surprised! I have read a couple of reviews after this incident and seems they have done this before! I am utterly disappointed!! I will never use this company again!!!

Tried this for the first time. Food arrived piping hot and on time. The main course curries were delicious and nicely spiced. The pilau rice was well cooked and flavoursome. The samosa starters were crispy and huge. However, the popadoms were wafer thin and very broken. The chicken tikka starter was just four small lumps of chicken that hadn't really seen a tandoor and a bit of salad but no mint yoghurt/sauce at all!

The best place to eat at Farnborough...(Indian Cuisine). The chef is a great cook with a lot of experience. The taste and quality are awesome!!!

Awful food. Perswari naan was thin and flavourless with barely any coconut in it. Chicken tikka masala was honestly awful; chunks of frozen chicken in a mild thin tomatoe soup- like sauce. 30 quid for a take away that tasted like it was an asda microwave meal. Woman who delivered shoved the bag in my hand then stormed off.

We have been ordering take away from here since we moved to the area four years ago. Never had a bad meal, always on time or early to be delivered. Price is good, delivery staff are good and friendly. Never had anything missed form our order.When you ask for a Phall they actually give you a Phall, other take always give you some medium curry and say it's a PhallBest take away for miles, long may they continue.

I just wanted few naan breads, fairly simple thing I thought. Half hour wait later I went home with two bags. and those were crispy and tested not good at all... So disappointed. Never eat there again. And even got charged more that should have.

This is a small takeaway but the food is excellent. we have ordered from here on multiple occasions and never had a bad meal. The lady who works behind the counter is always friendly and helpful. It is a shame that this takeaway is not walking distance from my home but it is well worth the drive.

I will start by saying that food and delivery from this restaurant are normally excellent, but on this occasion my expectations fell well short of any customers expectations; starting with a late delivery of almost an hour, missing food and very rude staff when phoning to find out what had happened.First contact when food was late. Very rude member of staff, advised me they were busy and refused to give any indication when we could expect our food.Next contact after delivery, when we noticed the sauce was missing from the Biriyani. Again a rude member of staff, who shouted aggressively that they were busy, before finding out the extent of my complaint. Then once he had been told he was rude and ignorant, made a meagre attempt at reconciliation, which was well short of what I would expect.I am a regular customer here, or was, but due to this member of staff I will now be placing my orders elsewhere.

Really good quality, not greasy, best in the area. My only fault is that at 60 pence each, the poppadum was expensive.

Some were great... others not so much.Lamb samosa tasted frozen & not fresh - like a budget supermarket frozen version.Pasanda was great - aromatic.Jalfrezi was tasty but such a thin watery sauce, almost as if it had been diluted.Naan was good - soft and just the right amount of charring.Overall lamb was good meat but chicken was large chunks and incredibly dry in the middle.Can’t fault volume of food for the money, but could do with focusing on some quality points.

Omg!!! If you enjoy one sauce fits all this is the place for you.What a disappointment, then i rang to say i was not happy i was told how stupid i am....STAY CLEAR, best place to eat is Everest north camp. Very very POOR!! SAFFRON

Whenever I fancy a curry delivered this has become my takeaway of choice - delivery in 45 minutes and I have not had a bad meal yet

Ordered two starters, two curry's, and naan and they were all ready within fifteen minutes. The staff were amazingly welcoming and friendly. The curry's were brilliant, we ordered a vegetable korma and a vegetable Rogan. We've had some not pleasant Rogan's in the past but this one was extremely pleasant. Full of flavour and cooked perfectly. The coconut rice is a fantastic addition to the menu and went with the Korma extremely well. The portion sizes were really good for the price they were and the discount makes everything just that much better. Definitely going again soon!

Ordered a meal here for the first time and wasn’t disappointed. The food was tasty and came in decent portions, so great value for money. Will definitely be ordering food here again

Quick to answer phone and offered advise on trying something new. Well packaged and hot when got it home. Good tasty curry and naans. Staff were curteous and helpful. Would recommend.

Since the closure of Kanastan I have struggled to find a takeaway that came close.Tried them all and settled for one that was ok.By chance I thought I would give Saffron a try.Wow it was really good and even received a phone call to let me know that my food was ready.By far the best Indian takeaway in town
